I give it no stars. I bought a small chocolate piece of cake...it tasted like cheap grade ingredients. Zero quality here. Gave it a few times, to see if it was just a bad day, but it never got better. Even a senior client I help out said the pastries I picked up tasted old and lacked flavor. To the owner: You lack passion for what you do. It shows in your pastries, & effects those around you....."Projection," matters. Good luck to you in the future.

Fun, old fashioned bakery. We like stopping for a sweet treat and cup of coffee when in town. Apple pan dowdy is wonderful! I wouldn't recommend the cream puffs as the filling is not whipped cream, but a greasy and not too tasty substitute.

Also...i recommend hair nets...i find donuts with hairs once every couple weeks (not because they have been sitting there half the day, I OPENED THE NEW BOX!. So hair nets and fresh everyday "without fail" would help.

Use to be employed here got attacked by a fellow baker I got fired and he got to keep his job. This place is terribly run with ZERO care for hygen. They will take raw dough that has fallen on the floor and tos it back in with the clean dough. Test cooking practices of this place are disgusting and it's management would rather support friends then take the appropriate action when a coworker attacks another.

Pastry Perfection truly lives up to its name-- it really is THAT great. I've been talking it up to my mom for months now, and I finally got to take her today. I figured since I had raved about the place so much, it wouldn't be as impressive... but she adored it! Any type of pastry, cookie, cake, donuts, you could ever imagine, they make it! The place is huge, with massive deli counters full of treats. Donuts are my favorite things to get, and the prices are super cheap. Next time you need a good donut, try it out!

It's pointless to argue

Ordered a sheet cake for daughters birthday, payed in advance picked up day of of my daughters birthday, cake was horrible looked like it was made by a three year old. I have no doubt that they could have fixed it. However, they couldn't have done anything on the day of my daughter's birthday to make it better so I took it anyway. My daughter said she liked it because it was so horrible that it was funny but I feel like they could have done better. Playing The Devil's Advocate, the staff was very nice and the establishment was very clean. I Won't Go Back and I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody.

Customer service is terrible, no one makes you feel welcomed or want to help. I spent over $30 on donuts and wondered if they could sell me dough they use for cinnamon rolls, they said no. I asked them if they could custom make pastries since they already do with cakes. I was willing to pay. I REALLY just wanted the fluffy dough from the cinnamon rolls, minus the cinnamon because it's pure perfection. I wanted to use the dough to make Argentinian Vigilantes. I'm disappointed, and my hopes were destroyed. Great products, terrible delivery.

Staff is super nice, but the cannoli I bought is not filled with any typical cannoli ricotta filling, but rather with a sugary donut frosting type filling. It was much too sweet for what I expected. Other than the cannoli, they have many other good treats, such as their sugar cookies.

They seem very nice and it’s a nice place, but I wasn’t pleased with the quality. I have only had their key-lime pie and it just wasn’t good at all. It wasn’t key-lime but instead lemon-lime (almost no lime), tasted more like play-dough than pie, and the whipped cream was dry and tasted stale. I had high hopes for a local place.

We love Pastry Perfection for a special treat: morning coffee and a pastry. We especially like their Danish Crispy. It's a large, thin pastry with a flavor similar to a Snickerdoodle. They have a choice of 4 brewed coffees with free refills. All their baked goods are delicious, including breads, bagels, rolls, strudels and cakes.

These people had the AUDACITY, to tell me, that my 300 DOLLAR ORDER WAS "LUCKY" THAT WE WERE ABLE TO COPLETE IT. We ordered our wedding cake and donuts a MONTH IN ADVANCE, and when my person arrived to pick them up, they said "oh we cant complete that order, it must have been overlooked, we can replace the donuts that weren't fulfilled with other kinds though?" My person ended up waiting an extra 30 minutes for these people to frost the donuts right then and there, and told them "oh wow you're lucky we were slow today, orders have been overlooked before and we usually just dont fulfill them" My person ended up being almost late for the wedding. These people dont know it yet but I'm expecting some money back. I am beyond pissed. Such terrible professionalism from this second rate establishment.

Their croissants are the best I've ever had. Doughnuts too. Definitely recommend for a quick breakfast. Never had their coffee but if they stay consistent with quality it should be excellent. Everyone has a day where nothing goes right, but I've never been there for it. Highly recommend.

They're a great local bakery that uses fresh local ingredients. I ordered a huge cake for my son's fourth birthday. He's really really picky about what foods he'll eat, including cake. Luckily for us, they offered the half sheet pan red velvet cake, sandwiched with cream cheese filling, and frosted with cream cheese frosting as well. That's the only type of cake we've ever gotten him to eat, so we were over the moon they could make his favourite cake up to size. The next obstacle was that my son has been begging and pleading for a Marowak birthday cake for months. Even when I'd ask him what presents he wanted from relatives, it was all about Marowak. We asked and they actually had enough space for two large Pokémon if we wanted a battle scdb, so we picked one of his occasional favourites, Alakazam. Then the sides of the cake were frosted with big poke balls (like, say, between half a ping-pong ball half a billiard ball or so?). Really large but not overwhelmingly so. They fit in fine with the rest of the cake. The cake itself was wonderful, moderately sweet with a good medium texture--neither too crumbly not too smushy. The frosting was OK. The kids certainly enjoyed it, but it didn't taste very much like cream cheese. It was also sweeter than my son prefers (he's not into high sugar things like ice cream and most icings and frostings). I have a sweet tooth and I did agree it was on the sweet side, but it's a birthday cake! It definitely didspecial. I felt like I could've easily made my own cream cheese (super easy) and made much better frosting. It had none of the tangy, sweet, creaminess of a good cream cheese frosting. The cake itself was more expensive than a grocery store where you'd just pick from a book, but these cakes were not only completely customizable, they offered a large variety of frostings, nuts, candies, et cetera, for the cakes. Two of our best source images we sent (of two cartoon character he's fond of) were added to the cake top as an edible transfer sheet thing. It had no taste I could detect, and the kids alln't taste like the cream cheese was anything ate it without complaint. We had several hungry kids and still ended up with a lot of cake, which we let son eat after dinner until it was gone. He really, really loved the cake! I'd rather give it 4.5 stars, since the cream cheese frosting didn't taste anything like homemade or even store bought cream cheese icing. It wasn't a bad taste though, just not what I expect when I think of cream cheese frosting. Since 4.5 stars doesn't seem to be an option, I'm going for five. It was a hit with the kids, who didn't give a fig about the icing, except who got more. They were able to ln the characters we ended up asking for, and the red and white poké balls around the cake's edges really made it fun. Most important in the decision to go 0.5 stars is that my son loved it so much. He squealed and ran around chanting the character names for far too long before setting down and declaring that we had to eat Alakazam. I think I may consider buying another cake from you guys, as long as we're still in the area next time birthdays roll around. Prices were a touch higher than a store bought cake, but well worth it for the wide range of things they can do, the choices you're given to choose from, the art for the cake, and it all tastes good, unlike a lot of fancier cakes. Definitely worth a check in if you're planning a party of any kind. This cake was nice and moist, do it didn't really need milk or ice cream to wash it down. Perfect as is!

If there was an option to leave ZERO stars, I would select it. We ordered a cake from Pastry Perfection in February for a late June event. After doing so, we mentioned that we had done so to a few friends. A couple of our friends had bad experiences with this Pastry Perfection, including one couple who said their wedding cake was a complete disaster, so we decided to go another way. We asked for our deposit back, but Pastry perfection refused...even though they would not actually be making the cake we ordered for FOUR MONTHS. What a complete joke of a business. Anyway, after hearing about our friends' experiences, we'd rather be out a deposit than receive a stale cake. Needless to say, we don't recommend giving a deposit to this bush league operation.

Came in today to ask about doing a large order. What I got was a rude unhappy employee who didn't seem to know anything. One of the bakers in the back started yelling at me to see what I needed. How about come to the front instead of having a shouting match in your store? Customer service can make or break a business. Costco has better pies and are a lot cheaper. Regardless I will take my business elsewhere.

I have always used Pastry Perfection for birthday parties and events in the past. However I will never use them again after my most recent experience. I purchased a $60.00 two tier unicorn cake for my daughters second birthday. My mom picked up the cake from them because I was not going to be there in time before the store closed. I picked it from my mom and noticed how unstable and wobbly the cake was realizing something didn’t seem right. So I carefully placed the cake on the passenger side floor and not even able to get out of the neighborhood the top tier slid off and collapsed. I was devistated. I called the bakery and spoke to a very kind staff member who said I am sorry that happened and I will let the manager know to give you a call in the morning. I understand mistakes happen and all I wanted was for the manager to make this right and turn it into a positive rather than leave it as a negative disappointing experience. With that being said the manager Kelly was very rude when she called me the next morning and implied there was no way she made a mistake, implying it was my fault. I was shocked how she handled the situation. Then I bring the full cake back into the bakery and talk to very sweet elderly woman who was helping me with a refund. However she needed assistance from another employee who gave me an eye roll acting like I was the scum of the earth. They then needed assistance from two others one by the name of MEGAN who was the most entitled arrogant rude and inconsiderate individual by far I have ever encountered and right then and there I knew I would never return to this place. I will let everyone know about this awful experience. I did get a refund thankfully however I am beyond disappointed and disgusted with how the situation was handled!

I had went in to order a cake a week in advanced for my husband. I placed the order and they asked me to email them the picture of what I wanted. They wrote the email down on the bottom of the receipt and they took my number down. I did everything they asked me to do and returned a week later to pick up my cake. I showed up and they informed me that my cake wasn’t ready and that they never received my email of the picture. They also told me they I gave them the wrong number to call me. I’m not sure how they could think I would give them MY phone number wrong. Then I told her I sent the picture to the exact email the employee had given me and she continued to argue with me. I sent the picture again through email and she went back to look and came back and told me she still had not received it so she took my phone with the picture to go look. She came back and told me she had it but she couldn’t tell because my email had my maiden name isn’t of my married name and was very rude. She said it would take about 30 minutes to finish my cake so I left and came back. Once i was back it took them additional 30 minutes. So I waited an hour for a cake I ordered a week ago. The employee that made the mistake was very apologetic and nice but the woman that was working with me was very disrespectful and unprofessional. How dare you make it out to be my fault that you messed up on my order? The staff took down my number wrong AND gave me the wrong email. Not only that but since my cake had to be rushed it was not very good quality. It also did not taste all the best. It was pretty dry and tasteless. I just don’t see how that cake was 75$ especially with it only being an 8”. I was refunded 10$ but I think I definitely deserved at least half back after that experience. I was going to come back for my sons birthday cake but after that I will NEVER even refer someone there. Horrible experience.

The building is rather unassuming. Then you walk inside and it's a fairyland of goodies. The variety of sweets are both beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. The staff are friendly and extremely patient as you walk back and forth along the long counter, viewing the amazing display of beautifully made donuts and pastries, trying desperately to decide which ones and how many to purchase. A very difficult decision. My husband and I always pick out more than we intended to, when we decide to enter this wonderful establishment. Everything we've ever bought there has been delicious!!!

We love Pastry Perfection. They are always helpful and make exactly what I want. Brent and his gang are fast and make delicious treats. I have bought all my kids birthday cakes, our wedding cake and treats for work here and I support the local business and the community mindset they have.

I had Pastry Perfection do a custom cookie order for me. Meaning, I spent $20 on my own cookie cutters, took them to Pastry Perfection to have them bake and ice 4 dozen cookies. I had my daughter explain the colors of the cookies and dropped off the cookie cutters for me. My cookies were supposed to be done by 10:00 Saturday morning. Never received any telephone calls during the week or so that they had the cookie cutters and the order. When I stopped in to pick up the cookies, a baker came to me and said that there had been a problem with one of the cutters and that they would not be charging me for some of the cookies. I said no big deal and assumed that was the only problem. When they brought out the cookies, all the cookies were a mess. I did not want to cause a scene as there were quite a few people in the establishment. The cookies were to be for my daughter's baby shower the next day. None of the cookies looked like the cookie cutters I gave to Pastry Perfection, they were so thin that they crumbled and broke in half before the shower and the icing was completely mixed together. One of the cutters was a rainbow with clouds at the end...... they iced the whole thing white. I had no call before hand to tell me that there was any problem. There were actual sugar cookies in the display case that were at 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.....mine were less than 1/4 inch thick. These were supposed to be a highlight at an important baby shower instead they were a disappointment and embarrassment. I will not be purchasing from Pastry Perfection again. Total disappointment even if they discounted the price. Someone could have and should have contacted me before I came to pick up the cookies.

My review of Pastry Perfection is bitter sweet. My initial contact was via phone (12/04/2018) to inquire about placing an order and bringing in a personalized cake topper I had ordered from Amazon. The young lady was pleasant and very resourceful, and without hesitation took my order. As promised, I came to Pastry Perfection with the cake topper (12/18/2018) to discuss color options, but, not before standing in front of the cash register for nearly 20 minutes and being completely ignored. I finally realized there are two sides to the bakery, one dedicated to the pastry/doughnut side and another specific to cakes. There were plenty of employees that could have guided me in the right direction, and I certainly can tell there is a lack of urgency. Regardless, I finally met with a cake specialist who hurriedly took the cake topper from the packaging to discuss my color options and also helped me make a few changes to my original order. I overlooked the poor customer service at that point since my initial contact was pleasant. On 12/20/2018, the day of my son’s birthday party, I went to go get the cake. I was very excited to see the results since everyone raves about the cakes they make. I opened the cake box and was very saddened to see that the cake topper (Fortnite) had been damaged. It was cracked and the lady tried to tell me that was how I supplied it to the bakery. I told her the topper was not cracked when I brought it in, because the bakery specialist and I looked at it together on 12/18/2018 when we discussed options. The cake topper was clearly for a ¼ sheet cake and was not centered, and was noticeably short on the left and right boarders. I quickly expressed my disappointment at being called a liar, and explained to her that I wanted a discount since I had a birthday party to be at in 2 hours, and the cake topper is not replaceable. To which she screamed at me “JUST REFUND ALL HER MONEY”. I have never felt so belittled in my life, with customers and employees turning to see what all the insanity was. I gladly accepted the refund and left in a hurry. The cake was delicious, but sadly I will never do business here again due to the lack of respect for the customer. Picture has been included, and the child's name omitted to protect identity, and you can clearly see the cracked topper on the right side above the word "birthday".

The cake we had for our special occasion was the best! Both beautiful and absolutely delicious. Rarely does the entire cake get eaten and our guests raved at how wonderful it tasted.
