I recommend the sweet buns with the crackle tops. Like the pink and yellow ones. Really delicious. Also great Mexican wedding cookies such. Will definitely be coming back

We went in just out of curiosity today. You don't find decent authentic bakeries in Boise and we didn't want to drive to Nampa but we were very disappointed the cashier isn't very friendly he's extremely rude. We thought since they don't seem to have a lot of business he'd be a lot more pleasant. We wanted bread so we bought a few anyway and were disappointed the bread is hard and feels like it's old. The bread wasn't great and experience wasn't either I honestly wouldn't recommend it. I'm not going back.

Plus they sell elote (Mexican Street Corn) and pastel de tres leches. Not feeling like anything sweet? They serve savory pan as well. My family and I are frequent customers and will be for a long time. The family who run and work Panaderia Coalcoman are super nice and there to answer any questions you may have about their over ten varieties of pan.
