This Bakery is classified in the category of Breakfast restaurant.
Didn't get to try the eggs yet as we arrived in town too late for that menu. The local smoothie was good and the service was friendly.
Wow We loved this place!
Great pastries and coffee.
Pretty over priced but very good pastries and decent coffee. Staff was very polite. It's a cool little place in a resort area, check it out.
So many great choices and coffee
Never went to the restaurant
It has amazing pastries and coffee
Had a ton of fun here. The food was so amazing. Our waitress was super sweet and she was from Poland (which was super cool). They seared us superfast. And they got our food superfast too. And it was really delicious food as well. I will definitely be coming back.
The food was delicious, the atmosphere warm and inviting. If I had to complain, I'd note the waiter was distant considering they werent that busy. The manager was extraordinary! I smile just thinking of him.
Very good service, very good food with decent prices.
Really nice. The bakery is amazing
AMAZING. I was in Sun Valley for the summer figure skating competition, and in between practices and competing events, I would just take a quick minute walk to the konditorei!! All of the food and pastries are so delicious, and as a huge fan of iced chai lattes, I literally died and went to heaven!! My favorite pastry is the red velvet brownie, but if you are looking for something more simple, try the classic croissant! Sad that I don’t live in Sun Valley, but if I visit again, I will be sure to come back!!
Great atmosphere! Great food good memories over the years. Nice to return to a place from my childhood & share it with my husband.
Old worls charm in the mountains. Good for breakfast or lunch. Coffee meetings.
Great service and menu selection. Food was delicious.
Yum yum.....the lemon tart was delicious and the coffee drink was very good.
Amazing breakfast pastries and desserts!!!! I would not recommend sitting down for breakfast, it was subpar. Bad service.
If you are in the Ketchum/Sun Valley area and want to experience a beautiful European style meal for breakfast or lunch, go to the Konditorei. Perfect coffee drinks of all kinds and bespoke pastries made fresh every day. Best sticky buns on Earth!
The food was quite good here and they have an awesome selection of baked goods, but they messed up our order on three separate occasions... It could have been caused by slack or just a fluke; I'd gladly give them a second chance given the quality of their food. Edit: The second experience was significantly better. We once again ordered a warmed up cinnamon roll and once again didn't regret a bite of it.
Best place ever to do brunch! Everything is delicious, the price is relatively expensive but if you are doing brunch I think is worth it, a lot of options on the menu and the coffee is greaaaat.
Food was good, but service was slow. Server was standing around when I was clearly waiting for him
Local and tasty
Sadly the service has gone downhill. Not only did they get our drinks wrong twice, but then one of our meals as well. Waiting 35 minutes for the wrong omelette isn’t up to the SV standards we have always enjoyed
Expensive for the portion. Good food. Okay service. I prefer going to Gretchen's when I'm in this area. They give bigger portions for about the same price.
One of my favorite places to visit when in the area. The spaetzle Mac and cheese with bacon is awesome and the pastries are delicious.
We enjoyed lunch here. Waitress was very nice ,good food but a little pricey. I enjoyed the meal.
Beautiful little restaurant. Location near the lodge is perfect. Large variety of all sorts of sweets. Had an omelette that was good portion, and pretty rich in flavor!
Came in for a late breakfast and was very pleased with my experience! I ordered the homemade biscuits and gravy and felt as though I couldn't compliment the chef enough. This dish had a beautiful balance of flavors made even better by the fresh biscuits. The server was super friendly and the restaurant's decorations were very charming. I will definitely be going back!
The yummyest German food in the us
Great pastries and roaring fireplace. Expensive as everything is in SV
(Translated by Google) Their sweet cakes and cakes are spectacular for breakfast. It has a sufficiently varied menu, but not exaggerated. Recomendadisimo for a good brunch, the dishes are quite large. (Original) Sus tortas dulces y cafés son espectaculares para desayunar. Tiene un menú suficientemente variado, pero no exagerado. Recomendadisimo para un buen brunch, los platos son bastante grandes.
Excellent food and service. The Mac and cheese is tasty!
Wow. Wow
Excellent food and service!
Lovely espresso with flavor, made by staff that know how to make coffee as it should be made and unsurpassed range of freshly baked pastries. No place better in Ketchum. Wonderful atmosphere, newspapers to be read and great acoustics.
Friendly staff, quiet environment (we were here during shoulder season). The food was delicious.
Service was ok, the food was good
It was fine, didn't blow me away, wasn't bad either. I just expect a bit more when I'm in Sun Valley
I simply love the breakfast. I had the Trout Benedict with a side of hash and it was exquisite.
Our family just loves this French inspired cafe! The crepes will win over any little one... Large, fresh fruit, perfectly soft. The mimosa made with fresh squeezed oranges and the cappuccino were gorgeous and silky. My husband ordered a warm apples strudel and large buttery crisp croissant that were delicious. My eggs florentine was great; the poached eggs perfectly cooked. Overall, a good experience.
Great options from omelettes to Danish .
Maybe it's good for sweets and desserts, since that's what its name means. We ordered three lunch entrees and it was hard to decide which one was the worst. Or the Wurst. I don't leave bad reviews unless I feel I must warn people. This was an expensive mistake. A place that pretends to have some connection to Austria & Germany, messes up every single recipe, and can't even spell the dishes right. With the exception of the cabbage side dish, everything was bland or totally tasteless: I challenge anyone to produce butter Spaetzle with cheese loaded with charred bacon that has no flavor! Ditto on the wienerschnitzel. The most disappointing, bordering on falsehood, was the Bavarian sausage platter: one single brat covered in an unappealing fluid substance that was almost, but not quite, entirely unlike a mustard sauce that would have no business on sausage plate. The only good item was the Bavarian beer: at $11 each, they'd better be. Served in glasses that were far too small and entirely the wrong shape for Hefeweizen. If that's all you can do, please stick to Budweiser and hotdogs. $85 for a lunch that makes you waste a further half-hour on a revenge review.
Although my German husband tends to point out what is considered authentic German food, our entire family enjoyed our experience at this establishment. The seating was well placed to both enjoy views of food preparation as well as views out of the windows. Inside was a relief of the cold winter, offering bright colors reminiscent of spring. The food was really really good and the cappuccino was devine. They make a great twist of the traditionally southern chicken and waffles, "Schnizel and waffle" dressed with arugula and agave syrup (I think). Another twist was the Schnitzl and gravy. Again, absoulutely delecious. Our third dish was the crab omlette. Both filling and flavorful.
Mediocre food, But what really got my attention is your open kitchen, how the servers pick food off bowls where the food comes out. Not very sanitized and clean. Also, your employees DO NOT wear gloves while preparing and also dishing food. As being as food critic and writer, I give you at 2 Star rating due to your uncleanliness and unsanitary conditions of preparation of food. I will not return to this restaurant until this is fixed. I'm glad I didn't call an inspection agency to see the whole rundown of your restaurant.
Love it! Great treats, coffee and atmosphere.
Food was amazing, cappuccino was perfect, and the staff was delightful. So happy we stopped here for breakfast.
One of the best breakfasts I have had. Ordered the brandied strawberry crepes and LOVED them. Excellent service. Will definitely be returning.
Attentive service, great lunch menu and fabulous pastries!
Have the chicken soup! It is delicious! The grilled cheese with fig jam is so good as well. Huge pastry dessert selection and fantastic service
Gorgeous Light food and coffee Very spendy tho for Small portions
Yummy
Loved it!
Excelent food, cute european atmosphere!
Fun place for coffee and desserts. Lots to choose from.
Good food
The food was remarkable The service was fantastic The bloody Maria was an experience
Jeremy is the best server in the world.
One cookie
Fantastic hot chocolate! A very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, with good food.
Amazing service with a smile! I ordered the schnitzel and i highly recommend it. The potato salad is one of the best I've ever had as well. I enjoyed the Sauerkraut, but wasn't a fan of the fennel in it.
Most excellent food and service.
Great variety of pastries
Cute Bavarian restaurant and coffee shop
Nice little restaurant with a coffee bar and pastries
Food is good, service is poor. Over 40 minute wait for food and no coffee or water refills while waiting.
Perfect spot for brunch. Ordered the cauliflower hash which was delicious.
Historic resort village nestled within sawtooth mountains in Sun Valley, Idaho. Popular as a ski resort destination but beautiful all year with many outdoor activities, including bicycling, rafting, fishing, camping, hiking, etc. Konditorei restaurant is an ideal place for a delicious breakfast within the Sun Valley resort Village. Gorgeous gardens, spacious lawns, ponds, historic architecture and swans! My breakfast was trout eggs benedict. Delicious!
Excellent service, friendly staff, delicious lunch. One of the best Chicken Salad Sandwiches I've ever had and it was HUGE.....but I finished every bite! Wish I had room for one of their decadent-looking pastries.
We went to breakfast here two mornings in a row. The food was awesome and the service was outstanding! This was by far one of our favorite restaurants in the resort area. Some of our favorites were the Huckleberry Crepes, Hot Chocolate and the Apple Crisp Cheesecake Bar.
One of our favorite places to go in Sun Valley. The food is great, and there is always a selection of amazing pastries. Some of the best lattes I've ever had. It's such a nice place to just relax and have a leisurely breakfast or snack.
Everything.... YUM
Great pastries and good service!
Tried to go here for Sunday brunch. We were visitors and didn't realize it wasn't a typical buffet style brunch, but to even ask a question or look at a menu took a long wait while being completely ignored. By this time, other customers walked in, many of whom were greeted by staff, so if you're a local, no problem. When someone finally got to us, we asked two questions and then were told "Hurry up, there's other people behind you waiting." How rude!! After that attitude and having to wait, we took our business elsewhere.
Great food at the resort for guests and locals.
A fine bunch
Great breakfast, love the eggs benedict and corned beef hash.
Excellent food in an upscale and cozy atmosphere.
Awesome food, pastries and coffee.
Best chocolate mousse and red velvet cream cheese brownies of all time.
Great pastries
What a great brunch place in the morning and a perfect place to grab a pastry in the afternoon. We loved the rosti and the schnitzel on waffle. The staff are incredibly nice and the food is hearty.
Lip smacking pastries, spoilt for choice ! You almost want to try everything on display. The Oreo MnM Brownies, Tiramisu and Macroons were the winners according to me. Croissants were just average, but the coffee to go with it, made up for it. Had a three chocolate mocha and I'd recommend that. Their Sunday brunch was pretty good. I had the Corned Beef and Hash, it was made to perfection.
Well I believe a euro feel is exactly what the old idea of Sun Valley was.Right?
Delicious
Great breakfast, fast service, nice wait staff!
Amazing breakfast! Had a mimosa and the eggs benedict, both excellent!
I enjoyed their Nutella strawberry crepes! I would like to go back and try some of their bakery items. The looked incredible. Staff were very friendly, and attentive.
Too fancy for us, and I saw more "American inspired" than "Austrian inspired" pastry.
Good food and atmosphere. Try a pastry
Great staff, great pastries
Exvellent food excellent atmosphere
Amazing food
Excellent pastries and a really good hot chocolate, served at just the right temperature.
(Translated by Google) Great food and sweets, as well as an exterior that resembles objects in the European Alps. (Original) Odlična hrana i slatkiši, kao i spoljni izgled koji podsjeća na objekte na evropskim Alpima.
Try the chicken crepe for lunch!
We were visiting in the area and had the best lunch and service from Jonathan and a new waiter Shawn. We even got a complimentary delicious dessert and a to go crispy bacon for our dog.
We come almost every Sunday for breakfast. The food is always great, service is friendly, and it's a comfortable place to bring a baby with.
Great service
Best quiche I've had in 20 years.
Nice ambiance, service was excellent, decor and materials are top notch, food was fresh, soup was from scratch and husband loved it, baked goods
Came here for breakfast after spending the morning hiking, I was ready to go H.A.M. First impressions were great, the building is beautiful, both inside and out. LOTS of natural light in the dining area, and the lounge area by the fireplace was amazing. Once seated, the waiter took our order, and surprisingly, brought the food out relatively quickly. The food here wasn't as good as the reviews mentioned, especially when considering the price AND the portions you're getting. I ordered the Schnitzelwaffle, primarily because it's the "Chef's Choice" here, and I didn't like it at all. Of course I ate it all and didn't complain, but honestly, the meat you get is very thin, and I just thought the mustard they put on the meat and waffle combo was not tasty at all, which left me very disappointed. I was still hungry, and placed an order for the Konditorei Breakfast. It's more of a traditional type of breakfast (eggs, potato, meat), and I really liked it, especially the bacon and the little potato hash brown circle you get. Once again, the price and portions were disappointing. For dessert, I got their swan pastry, which was really good IMO, and would go perfectly with their cappuccino. Their dessert counter is fantastic, they have so many choices and they all look fresh and unique. I actually ordered a cappuccino AND a latte here, primarily because I had no clue what the difference was. Apparently the latte is supposed to be not as strong and more creamy than the cappuccino, which was true. I enjoyed them both, they tasted fantastic (I'm not an expert at all, but could definitely tell the difference in taste between these here and at McDonalds). The three main negatives for me that bring this place to 3 stars are the service, the overall taste, and price. Even though our first round of food came rather quickly, when my party placed the second round of orders, it took a very long time (I don't have the exact wait time, but it was easily over 25 minutes and the place wasn't even that busy). We were very close of just asking for the bill and leaving. And when the food came, the waiter forgot to bring me the latte I ordered. Sometimes you come across a waiter / waitress that is attentive, friendly, a little talkative, and makes you feel welcome. This was the exact opposite of what we experienced here. It almost felt like our waiter was either someone who just started here, or was super overwhelmed and slammed, which is fine but is something I wanted to make note of. Finally, some of the breakfast entrees myself or my party ordered (Kale and Quinoa and Cauliflower Hash) didn't taste as good as I (or they) expected or lacked any distinct or signature taste, especially after the hype of all the positive reviews here. As for the price, it felt very inflated to me when comparing the portions and overall taste to some of the local spots I know of back at home. Overall, I really LOVED the atmosphere here, but this is a medium 3 to me. If you're coming here, I'd highly recommend just ordering dessert and coffee / latte / cappuccino, taking it to go, and eating it inside by the fireplace or outside on their patio. I'd be willing to give this place another chance, mainly due to how much I enjoyed the atmosphere / presentation.
The food was great and the atmosphere was wonderful. Our server, Jeremy, was very friendly and took care of us very well. It was the off season this time. The last time we went it was packed. It is well worth the trip.
Great German food!
Unexpectedly amazing!
Fantasic place to eat. Grab a quick coffee and pastry at the bar or dine in. Lovely presentation, layered flavors, fresh ingredients, amazing coffee and excellent staff...many are out of towners with intersting stories to tell. In Sun Valley village and many times requires a wait.
Brownie was not cooked through and was battery inside. Really gross and make me feel nauseous. Would be 1 star but Swedish guy serving coffee was nice.
I love going back to Bibou's for it's authentic charm. Is it France, no, it's Philly and it's special. The food is that of a fine artist who please the tongue, nose, and eyes of the viewer. And that to me is alway worth it.
Love love
I love their coffee station. The baristas are always very quick and pleseant.
Mike was wonderful! My family came in to have breakfast and had an amazing time. The food was all delicious and he went out of his way to get me a specialty coffee and provided superb service. Come in and ask for Mike’s section!
Great food and super service! Nice vegan options, too.
My favorite is the Beef Stroganoff, as the braised beef is super tender! It's Bavarian themed restaurant, and I recommend getting a dessert and chai latte while you are there.
I have never been disappointed. Menu, staff, service, ambience - wonderful experience.
Taaasty
The service was great and the food was good
The Club sandwich was to die for! The pastries were the BEST I have ever tasted. Service was excellent.
Excellent Breakfast and great atmosphere. Highly recommend the schnitzel and gravy And the cauliflower hash . Would recommend this place and will visit again next time we are in Sun Valley.
The food has a Swiss flare to some dishes. Great for breakfast foods and lunch as well. We had a large group and they were very accommodating. We all loved the food. Everyone even got a bakery item to go for dessert later, it’s looks delicious.
