Great food, questionable management. I went to this restaurant twice, and each visit left me with mixed emotions. The wrap I received tasted great, made by the hard working kids behind the counter. Though I felt uncomfortable as a man, I believe his name was Jeremy, was hasty and yelling at the workers. As a parent, this made me feel uncomfortable and unbelievably sad for the kids. I understand that management must be able to keep the pace going, but this was leaning a bit into unacceptable territory. If this manager’s actions aren’t caught and confronted soon, this could possibly turn into much worse situation for the kids working there.

I only tried the Sodas so I can't say anything about the food. But for a "Soda Stop" they need to up their drink game. Their sign was misleading as well, leading us to pay much more than we were expecting. Go to Sodalicious for drinks instead.

The food was pretty good and the service was great but the choice of music was so annoying that we couldn’t wait to get out of there! We had the unfortunate experience of sitting under the speaker and it was not only terrible music but loud terrible music! It was not an enjoyable dining experience at all! We said something to the waitress about at least turning it down and she wasn’t interested! I won’t be back and it is a shame because I live a block away!

This is my favorite go to place! Always quick, thorough, and friendly! My last visit I got my favorite treat, a Loco Coke-O and my quilty pleasure the best sugar cookies out there. The drink was mixed so well that it was tasted the same until the very last drop. A lot of places don’t mix it so you get all the syrup flavoring first and then not throughout. It was so satisfying! I’m so glad they opened a second location! And the potato is sooo GOOF!

I visited with a large group that had drinks and food. The food was delicious and they had many selections on the menu. I ordered the salmon salad and I highly recommended it. Their prices are even reasonable. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because they forgot one order and kept promising to bring it but finally did an hour later. In all fairness there was another large group there. I definitely will go back to Jack's.

We live nearby and finally stopped here for dinner tonight. I wish we had sooner! The staff was so friendly and attentive! I enjoyed the bacon cheeseburger and my husband got the finger steaks. Both were excellent and flavorful! We were actually able to have a conversation and enjoy the BSU game. You have got to try this place! We will be back regularly.

Can’t speak to the food. Only used the ladies room. However, I did notice that all of the business certificates are issued from Nampa and it is in Nampa. Yet there is a glaring framed certificate advertising that they are a member of the Meridian Chamber of Commerce. Shame on you Jacks At least be a member of both

Our office ordered some food for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was on time, hot and crispy. I was worried with delivery that sandwiches would get soggy but that was not the case. The flavor combinations were delicious and everything was generously proportioned. I can't wait to eat there again!

I love the idea, but the gluten free bread wad absolutely awful. Totally fell apart, had an awful texture, tasted gross. I'd recommend Franz gf bread as a lovely alternative. The staff was sweet.

Good location, busy flow of dining in and people picking up to-go orders (there's also a drive-thru), very friendly and accommodating staff (they allowed me to essentially create my own salad). Fun music playing,. Yummy shareable dessert (Brookie) that only would've been better by being warmed on a plate, topped with ice cream, and drizzled with Caramel sauce.

Worst Chicken strips I have ever had. They had four tables and we’re already turning people away because they don’t want to overwhelm their chef. The Chevron down the road has way better chicken strips for half the price. This is the second time we’ve tried this place because we work right down the road and both times we have watch them turn customers away with only half of the seating was taken. If I was the owner I would hire somebody else to run my restaurant because their business model is horrible.

I loved this place! The food was prompt, high quality, and satisfying. I got the Vancouver panini; the turkey was TO DIE FOR! I also got the tomato basil bisque and fell in love. I'm sitting here yep alone because my boyfriend is working I was mad to feel bad for being a table of one. I'm a broke college student so I ordered cheap. The menu didn't say my burger would come with onions and I have an allergy. So the gal says oh well what do you want me to do. Do you want me to trash it? I say yeah unfortunately. I can't eat it otherwise. I figure I would get new lettuce and tomato but nope now just a plain burger patty and fries. Oh yeah and they season the fries with onion. So guess what I get to eat the burger hopefully I don't die not sure what it is seasoned with. Waitress was upset I asked for ketchup. I loved this place when it was SodaStop but not now. I won't be back. Also, wow it tasted like eating a salt lick. I also, tiped her more than 20%.

So i stopped here after work at 5pm, rolled through the drive though hoping to get some food but the guy working said theyre only taking drink orders. Whatever i like their drinks but naturally when ordering just a drink you would think it wouldnt take long to make right? No i sat at the window for 15 minutes, nobody came to the window to take payment or give me any sort of time frame so i left. Honestly take your business elsewhere, dutch bros is alot faster even with a huge line.

When asked if it normally takes that long their excuse was "yeah we're down to two people" I have never been inside this place but I assume that they slice their meat and cheese for every sandwich on the slowest setting possible, it does not take that long to make a sandwich....

Gave 3 stars because the flavored sodas were good. But the food was a disappointing. My daughter and I got bagels and cream cheese sandwiches and there was only a very thin spread of cream cheese(they did give us extra cream cheese when asked). The avocado did not taste fresh and the turkey simply didnt taste good as well as the bagels.

I was trying to turn around so I pulled in this parking lot, I was intrigued by the colors and the name, so I figured I'd go in. I wasn't even really thirsty but I figured I would try something. I ordered a "doctors order" which is doctor pepper, coconut, and cream, it was awesome. The place is really well set up. Very pretty. cool section *HUGE selection* of drinks, food, desserts. I highly recommend you stumble across this place like i did :)

I absolutely adore this place! They have awesome sodas and I was a bit hesitant to try a different combo for Dr.Pepper, as it is my go-to drink, but I was pleasantly surprised by the Berry Macaroon drink! My boyfriend got a Mediterranean wrap, which was awesome aside from that he asked for it to be grilled but it wasn't (still yummy!). Our server accidentally handed our drinks out to the wrong people (who gladly accepted) but she quickly asked us and realized her mistake, and upgraded our drinks. I appreciated it. The cashier seemed very uninterested in serving us, I'm sure she's an awesome employee but I feel like she might have been overwhelmed and stressed to the point of not caring. I work in food service so I know what it's like to have a bad day, I hope it gets better for her. I ordered a blt (wasn't feeling very adventurous) and it had very little meat on it, and very little pesto mayo. I like a lot of sauce so I just asked for extra mayo. I kinda wish I had ordered a wrap! I will be next time we visit. Kind of a bit pricey, especially for us college students, so it will be an occasional treat. Overall, great place, awesome sodas, and very tidy! We will be back again.

When Jak’s is good it is deliciously fantastic. Other times not so much. I really wanted to leave 5 stars for the potato salad alone, however I will no longer be a frequent diner here. For the last 18 months I’ve been coming regularly for the potato salad and usually a sandwich. About 60% of the time the potato salad is perfectly balanced with edible chunks of potato and creamy goodness. The other 40% the chunks are too big for one bite and too uncooked to cut in half easily. Today’s sandwich was a waste of money. The bacon was half cooked, very floppy and inedible and there was *maybe a 1/8 of an avocado sliced as thin as possible. I scraped the avocado to one quarter of the bagel and threw the rest away. Unfortunately this order was to go so I didn’t discover the half cooked bacon until after I left. It seems every other time is good but the lack of consistency makes it a no for me.

I LOVE that they are turning this stop into a sit down inside as well, less of a fast food feeling! It gives a more family friendly feel. The sandwiches are LOADED with meat. The drinks are truly one of a kind. They have food for any mood you are in. Also have some great comfort food. The best part, I dont have to drive to meridian anymore! There's one nice and close to home. Can't wait to see what else they have in store and bring to our Nampa community!

My husband and I went here tonight on a dear neighbors recommendation. So glad we tried it! You’ve got to give it a try. It is a little more expensive than your chain restaurants, but you get a ton of food. I brought home half of my meal. It is freshly prepared and the flavor was amazing. I ordered the Albuquerque and loved all the fresh veggies in it. The pesto mayo with the zucchini fries was amazing. The wait staff was very attentive and we wanted for nothing. It was not fast food restaurant fast, but I didn’t expect (or want) that. It was a wonderful fresh option that was made after we ordered it. No oily, soggy zucchini fries here. Yum! I also loved that the music was not so loud that you can’t even talk, but not so quiet that you don’t even hear it. Great atmosphere! My husband and I will go again for future casual date nights.

Excellent restaurant overall, clean and spacious dining area, fresh gourmet food, and even offers catering for special events. Moderately priced and doesn't break your wallet, and great meals on the new menu well worth the money. Just tried the new burger tonight, I could not have asked for a better one. We arrived later in the evening on a weekday so they seemed a bit slow. Hardly seemed to take time to prepare back. The employees are all extremely good at what they do, and made a Mushroom/Swiss burger watch the all fresh locally sourced. ingredients. Crispy, buttery and toasted buns, patties cooked to a perfect medium rare, loaded with cheese and fresh sauteed mushrooms, SOOOO what does that mean?

The drive thru is a joke I sat there for 25 minutes only to find out they forgot part of my order when I got home. They said they “hooked me up with fries” yet I paid for fries so I’m not sure what that was all about. I would stay away from here if you only have an hour lunch break, it takes way too long.

Use to go to this location pretty regularly. Food was always good and staff was always friendly. It has been a while since we went in to eat so tonight we decided to. Honestly wish we wouldn’t have spent our money here. Right when we walked in which was at 7:04pm the girl at the counter said just so you know we aren’t selling food right now. I thought it was because something was broken, because why else would that be the way you are greeted when you walk into a business... I asked her why they weren’t making food right now and she said because we close soon. I said oh you close at 8 right? She said oh that’s right we do okay never mind what do you want to eat. So we started to order food and she began explaining a whole list of things we couldn’t order at that time. Odd considering you are open for business. She really seemed to struggle with what she was saying and doing and she told us she was distracted because her mind was somewhere else... all in all horrible customer service. We definitely miss the old staff. We also have always ordered beer or wine when we come in due to the great selection and we were told tonight we could not order it because there was no one working that was over 19. That’s the law so I totally understand but if you are open and you have the option for beer and wine why don’t you have someone there that can sell it...? As a business you should treat your customers exactly the same no matter what time they come in if it is within the hours of operation. Close at 7pm instead of 8pm if you are going to take almost everything off your menu anyways after 7... also worst panini I have had there yet very vey dry. Unfortunately due to this experience I won’t be going back. Hope things get better because I use to love coming here.

This location is right by our house and we were so excited for it to open. My family and I tried it for the first time tonight and it was amazing! I have a gluten allergy, so for them to offer a gluten free bread option for the sandwiches was incredible. And the best part, I couldn't even tell it was GF it tasted that good. Our 2 young kids LOVED their sandwiches and the portions were plenty. Overall, we were very pleased with what we ordered and we will definitly be back!

Would nor recommend this place, went there for lunch, it was not busy but 5 people walked in before our group and the server said we would have to wait 20 minutes before taking our order because they did not want to overwhelm the cook, they forgot bacon on the bacon cheese burger, we had to ask for silverware for a salad, they gave the orders to the wrong person , and the portions were very small but extremely expensive. Not worth the time going here!

Cute little place with solid American fare and beer. There isn't a huge selection but it is done well. I has the bacon cheese buger and onion rings and both were fresh and tasty. They have a good selection of craft beer and wine. The portion are on the smaller size but the atmosphere ks quiet and low key. I was incredibly hung over when I came in and it hit the spot.

Update 6/10/2019: The name has changed and so has the menu. I had the Albuquerque Wrap and my co-worker had the Salmon Salad. Both had very generous portions. Food was good. Service was fast, but we were the only table at first. Would definitely try it again. I enjoy the food and the convenience of having you close to my office, but I need to point out that your service really needs improvement. It's getting to the point where it's not worth the bother to walk across the parking lot. I use your online ordering system and that works well too. However, the last order left a lot to be desired and previous orders were similar, although not as bad as today's. Whoever puts the order together does not mark what's in the bag. That means your overworked cashier (you really should have two during the lunch hour) has to completely unwrap my sandwich to make sure it's the right one. She's been handling money and now she's handling my food. When I got back to my office, I had no pickle and no chips that should have come with my order. I had requested that the sandwich be cut in half and it wasn't. I think you are very understaffed during the lunch hour--there's often a long wait just to place an order and I've seen people leave because their lunch hour is getting shorter and shorter. Your food is good, but I can order from Jimmy John's for the same price and it comes to me correctly done 99.9% of the time. I wish you well in your endeavors, but you will lose me if my next order comes out the same as today's.

The sandwiches are way too overpriced, the cheapest being SIX DOLLARS for a grilled cheese. The sauce on the sandwiches is never spread evenly, it's always a blob in the center, same with the avocado. You can't make a custom sandwich which is frustrating because it is a sandwich shop. I could make all of those things at home for so much cheaper. The lobby has been completely empty every time I went in. If this place wants to stay open they should really think about reducing prices because ten bucks for a sandwich is ridiculous. The staff is very nice but they never look happy to be there, they're always nice though. The drinks are good and so is the inside, but the food is an overpriced disappointment.

Not impressed from the start. Got there and it was seat yourself. There were maybe 4 other tables with guest. Took awhile before we were given menus and asked if we wanted water. We said yes and they brought 2 glasses. There were 3 of us at the table. They left the 2 waters and didn't ask the other person if they wanted anything to drink. Then another person came to the table about 10 mins later. She walked up and said what can I get you. No hi I'm so and so. Sorry for the wait etc. She seemed put out that we were there. We first ordered a Coke for the 3rd person. One of the dishes we wanted was sold out so I asked for a substitution and got an instant no even though it comes as a vegetarian option.Then she got in her headset to ask the chef and said no. We ended up ordering sandwiches. All were lacking any flavor. We had to ask for silverware and we're given a strange look and questioned about it. Over all a very poor dining experience. The wait staff was rude, the headsets they wear are distracting. There were no pleasantries exchanged at all with our server. She barely came to the table. I think she is the first rude person we have encountered in ID. Will not be returning

$28 for two sandwiches, two drinks and a salad WITH a coupon. Salad was not edible, half of it was brownish and gross. :( And they forgot my chips! I get it's just chips, but when you're paying $10 for a sandwich and chips, You want the freaking chips. :( The drinks are awesome, I may be back for those occasionally to be honest. But I'm never ordering their overpriced food again. Dissapointed.

Wasn't impressed. Food was mediocre, service was not great. We had hoped for at least a decent lunch and left not wanting to return. We are not picky eaters nor are we snobby but all around could have been much better. Over priced for what you get as well. Gave 2 stars because only because I've had worse and the place actually has great potential.

Food and service was great! Ordered the Albuquerque Wrap with tomato basil. Also had a couple of custom flavored sodas. The menu is very diverse with lots to choose from. Our server was also very knowledgable and helped me make some great selections.

I've been to the Soda Stop over a dozen times and enjoy it very much. Haven't had anything I didn't like. My favorite is the rueben - one of the best I've had. Went in the evening recently to try their new dinner menu. That was a great meal. And finally found good bread pudding, which I love and is hard to find, let alone done right. Highly recommend.

Great sandwiches and drinks! Edit: 6/16/2018. Order was wrong, did not receive waters as asked for, WAY to much spicy mustard on the Texan, salad had substandard presentation. Unclear when ordering the salad that the meat would be chopped deli meat

The atmosphere is great and so are the staff. I can not get enough of their sandwiches or specialized drinks they make. Though I have had one of their burgers and it's not much of my forte which is why I didn't do 5/5 stars but over all I'm very impressed with what they have to offer.

Way overpriced. I paid close to $3 for a small minute made lemonade from the fountain machine that I could have got for a $1 at any other place. You will have better luck going to a fast food joint. Not recommending this place to anyone.

Today was our first time to JaKs and it was a very good experience. We came for lunch on a Sunday. We were greeted quickly at our table with water and menus. There was a great selection of food, appetizers, signature sodas and entree's. My wife had the Chili cheese bacon cheeseburger and I had the Albuquerque Wrap. Both dishes were filling. I tried my wife's and the burger had great flavor as well as the fries. The burger was a blend of brisket and tri-tip. My wrap came with onion rings, which were delicious and not overly coated with crumbs. The wrap was grilled and had fantastic flavors with the warm meat and crispy lettuce. We tried one of their signature sodas and each was very flavorful. They are sweet, so we had smaller sizes, but nice and refreshing. Prices I think were very reasonable for what you get. I had seen some reviews where some had said the prices were high. I disagree. For the amount of food you get, it's well worth it. We will definitely be back to try other items on the menu. I stopped in last night for the first time with my wife and daughter and was pleasantly surprised! We walked in 30 minutes before closing time and we were still treated very well by the staff. It was the most welcoming place we've been to in a while. It was very clean and the different flavor options for the soda are great! They have a pretty good selection of food (we haven't tried yet) and even have adult beverages! Since they are just down the street, we will be making this a stop every weekend for some family time.

Great groupon special. Came for lunch with my kiddos. The staff was very friendly and were knowledgeable of the menu. We ordered for Lunch and got a large half sandwich with a side of chips and potatoe salad. The specialty drinks were a bit too sweet for my family but they're not bad, just not for us. I'll probably try again soon.

I came in thinking this place does custom soda drinks. If you want a Coke product mixed with other flavored syrup then this is the place to go. Otherwise I would not recommend this place.

Great food, everything was perfect. Few nice beers on tap also. I recommend the Jaks Fries followed with Jaks Burger and a side of onion rings. Those onion rings are spot on crispy and dang delicious. Great resturaunt. Good job guys!

Great variety! More than soda the sandwiches are carefully crafted and grilled to give you that feeling of mom's home cooking and every item on the menu is healthy with the exception to the carbs on the bread... Great food and drinks for lunch or after work for a quick beer and snack.

Sandwiches were made quick and on time for pickup. Chicken salad is not nearly as good as used to be with the old recipe. I bit into the sandwhich and felt like I was chewing on a bone. Something in it was hard. Drinks were very good. Owner contacted me and fixed some of the issues. Very responsive and cares about the customers.

Its ok if you like cafeteria food. Being that close to the college they should do ok. Had a salad and a huckleberry tea. Salad was mediocre and the tea was ok but totally lacking in the huckleberry flavor.

Went in for lunch and the food was great! Everything was really fresh and seasoned well. (*they make their own ranch!) the sodas were really unique and very well priced! I will definitely be back and if your thinking of stoping in go! One of the best places off Garrity now in my opinion.

Went here for the first time today after class. Super convenient location relative to the CWI Nampa campus, relatively quiet and sleepy. Ordered the Classic Cheese Burger, because why not? It came out nice and hot, and was delicious to the last bite. Quick service, decent prices, and good staff. Extra shoutout to Sarah for being super friendly and personable the entire time. Definitely coming back whenever I get the chance.
