Been here twice and the service is the same, horrible. I felt as if I was an inconvenience to them and they didn't even have the time to say, "how can I help you". Would NOT recommend this place. The grocery store, Harvest Foods had decent food and wonderful service.

VERY good! We had the Quiche Lorraine, spinach bacon omelet, cinnamon roll and chicken fried steak. Everyone liked their food. Even got some tea to try! Reminded me if an old soda shop.

We stopped in for a late lunch on sunday and it was great! We are new to the area and googled places to eat and this came up. So we decided to try it. We are so glad we did. The food tasted so good. Prices were really good too. We bought a couple loaves of bread to take home and some slices of pie. We ate the pie later that night and it was delicious. We had wished we bought a whole pie. Also Jennifer was the one working and she did a great job. Very friendly and great customer service. We will definitely be back since we don't live to far away.

My wife and I stopped in on Sunday after being a guest pastor at the Lutheran Church in Kamiah on 20 January. We were impressed with the restaurant. It originally was a pharmacy in the early 1900's. The current owners did a great restoration of it. The ceiling had nice tin tiles similar to the original tiles. The woodwork from the 1900's was restored very well. On to the food and service: We were pleased to see the prices were much lower than we would have expected. The food was excellent! Well portioned. Our waitress was very friendly. We came in at the end of the lunch rush but we were quickly seated and our orders came out in a reasonable matter of time. We got to visiting with a local and his son--people there are very friendly. We will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful breakfast, the three meat omelet, hashbrowns, and cinnamon raisin toast were excellent. The bakery was wonderful, we got huckleberry pie and a cream cheese pastry, we will absolutely go back next time were in this beautiful place.

As soon as I walked through the door the wait staff were warm and welcome. I was looking at the pastries, since I was undecided if there was going to be more than coffee, and questions on what the various sweets were readily answered. The warmth dried up as soon as I continued into the restaurant and sat down. I watched my coffee poured into a paper to-go cup which seemed a bit off since every other person at the tables around me had an actual coffee cup. Now I have seen that in the past where coffee shops run low on cups and are waiting for the dishwasher but by everyone having a cup I mean including the people served right before and right after. I simply brushed that off. Perhaps I was in the 30 second window of mugs being out. The end off it all though was when a server came by to all of the tables to ask if more coffee was needed, except mine.I was sitting in the middle of the restaurant. It isn't as if a corner booth was missed in error. Obviously I wasn't welcome. It would have been a lot more pleasant if the had just let me know as soon as I walked in. Now I am sure this place is a lot better,

I'm an insurance inspector and did an inspection at the owner's home at the lodge. They suggested that I stop by the restaurant in town, so I did. I had the muffuletta. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was charming. I have a new favorite place to stop in Kamiah!
