Best chicken fried steak breakfast I've ever had
Good service, food, and value.
Good as usual.
Friendly and fantastic food tha is home mms ade delghts!
Cute little cafe, a little noisey eating outside by the main road but nice place and good food
This is a very special place to eat. Small town feel where the staff knows all of the regulars by name. The food is good, but the atmosphere is as close to Mom's or grandma's as it gets.
Best local spot in town big portions at a great price
Really great food. My family loves to eat here.
I was very impressed with the service and the quality of the food .we had a very good meal and the other customers were very friendly.it was much nicer and cleaner than when it use to be Yonidas years ago.
Excellent food. Wait staff are great and prompt. They make great home made breads and sweet stuff.
Very good breakfast place.
Good food, good service. Phenomenal desserts!
Best place to eat in Emmett!!! Come try something...
Stopped in for a piece of pie and some tea. Pie was great a la mode!
Great food and service!
Tasty and fair priced!
There are a few good places to eat in town but Blue Ribbon is my favorite, their food is Great.... chicken fried steak, homemade pies and cinnamon rolls are a must. The service is the best. Stephanie Ford and Lacosta Dykema are two of the hardest working waitresses and deserve to be tipped accordingly.
The food here is great-i love me my French toast special #1: perfect amount of everything. The food quality is great, some staff not so "Hispanic"friendly.
Great staff! Awesome food! Never dissapointed! Oh and the onion rings! Yumm
Love this place! Good food for every meal. Yummy desserts and baked goods!
Great food, good friendly service, fair prices.
Always a good meal very friendly waitresses kind of noisy because it's always crowded limited parking
Best little secret of Emmett Idaho! Good homemade dinner cafe around! Best EVER home made cinnamon rolls and Carmel rolls around TOO, wonderful pastry! Homemade bread loafs to get to go always available & fresh otta the oven! Good hometown feelin' with great service! Can't go wrong with this meal...EVER! YUMMMMM!
Want a good burger? Get the Buffalo Bill Burger with everything on it, including the fried egg. Holy cow! You'll wear most of it on your shirt on the way out, but that's what signifies a good burger.
Good food but crowded and long wait
The food and service is great
Too salty.
This was a gem of a find. Obviously a local spot as observed by this guest with many people knowing each other. Loved their food and service. I had never had a triple potato hash before like this. The prices were not the over inflated renumeration many newer restaurants demand for their sub-par food and service.
Every time we go we are treated like family. The food is wonderful. There is something for everyone. Will continue to go back again and again.
Nice home town cafe good food friendly staff best in Emmett
Our fav breakfast joint in all of Idaho for 6 years, and we drive 45 mi to eat there. The food is always good, the baked goods are the real star, as are the prices. Usually packed on weekend AM, but rarely wait more than a few minutes.
Great staff and good, reasonably priced food. It was full of locals, who didn't need to look at the menu, so must be alright!
Have to try their cinnamon rolls! We stopped their on our way to go cut wood and it was so good! In fact it was so good that we stopped there on our way back from cutting wood! They are really nice and have a clean and organized restaurant. I was very surprised by how nice it was! I highly recommend this place to everyone. Whether for family events, dates, hangouts, or just food!
Wow great french toast very friendly service mr lorcher is the kindest person there the wait was long but so worth it I'll be returning for sure
Family run business. It's been here for quite some time and has certainly a history to it
A little slow
Never stopped here so i will give it a meh
Big portions and friendly service. It's a great small town diner like the good old days. Great choice if your in Emmett.
Good food, friendly service
They were so nice the service was quick and they have awesome quality food
Love the food and the staff!
This is one of the best places in town to eat. Good home cooking in a friendly atmosphere. The staff is friendly and efficient, even when the restaurant is packed (which it often is). They've got a good chicken fried steak, order the Big Daddy if you're really hungry. Love their sides too. The onion rings are superb (not just all breading), and try the Tillamook cheddar covered mashed potatoes for a real treat. I'll definitely be back!
Great food and great service, moderately priced. Huge biscuits and a plate full of ham (ham& eggs). Hard to get a bad meal there.
Good food. Small cafe. Pies and cakes looked delicious. Options for beef or buffalo in all burgers.
Small town Cafe with wonderful comfort food and wonderful service. The breakfasts were great!!
Wonderful hometown meals and great bakery
Good food mostly but they dont serve a vegetable with their dinners
Could have been a lot cleaner.
Great soup loved the service great homemade roll I am so happy I moved to Emmett today
Good food, good service at a reasonable price. Glad to see their open.
Food was good. Wait staff not so friendly.
Good as always. The price is right
DON’T DRINK THE WATER AND ASK FOR NO ICE!!! My two companions and I asked for ice water as we read over the menus, and well... the water was nasty. There’s a strong alkaline (?) taste and smell, maybe a little sulfur, but the three of us agreed there was absolutely something wrong with it. None of us could stomach more than a few sips of the water and we ended up sharing a Pepsi instead. (The Pepsi had a hint of the noxious flavor/smell too, but I suspect that was from the ice or maybe the whole thing comes from a chemical or detergent used on the plastic cups). It’s like if you leave an ice try in the freezer for about a year and the ice absorbs all the frozen food smells. Or like the lines and filters to the ice machine have never been cleaned out ever since the restaurant opened in the 1980s. I imagine water tastes better if you suck it out of a dirty wet dish sponge. I’ll 100% take my chances drinking tap water from Flint, Michigan before I drink the water at Emmett’s Blue Ribbon Cafe again. Anyways, aside from the water that tasted like it was poured fresh from an old tire in someone’s yard, the meal was delicious! The staff was friendly and prices were pretty reasonable. It’s just a shame that the water’s aftertaste (and aftersmell) followed me around for a couple hours and really took away from the whole experience.
Cant rate food although looks delicious Waiting for a table very rude waitress comes out from kitchen, saying with attitude find a spot uhhh really cant when only tables available are dirty so we left I get your busy but no need to have attitude
Great food, and price
Wonderful for breakfast, good food and great service!
They are always friendly and never let you have a bad meal
Great food. Very friendly staff. Reasonably priced
Friendly customer service! Decent food, great pricing. They even gave me a free slice of pie for My birthday!
This is one of the best places in town to eat. Good home cooking in a friendly atmosphere. The staff is friendly and efficient, even when the restaurant is packed (which it often is). They've got a good chicken fried steak, order the Big Daddy if you're really hungry. Love their sides too. ALWAYS good food!
Great Hamburgers and service
Breakfast at its best and worth the drive to Emmett I vote one of the best Breakfast in Boise area
First time eating there was good had the biscuits and gravy. Nice price for the sz. Is a true family place everyone knows each other Looking forward to going back I hear there cinnamon rolls are to die for
The waitress my grandson and I had was amazing. The food was good and we had a great time.
Best place in town to eat. Always tastes fresh. Employees always friendly. Highly recommend
Best place in town!!! Food is awesome. Service is usually good too.
Had the Triple Decker Sandwich and it was great to
It has good food and service
This place has a wonderful, positive vibe throughout, and with wonderful food I can’t ask for a better breakfast/lunch spot!
The breakfast stop hands down
Nice little cafe. Good food and great service. If you are ever passing in town, you'll need to stop and get a bite to eat.
Amazing baked goods!
Good food, good service... Just a little bit chilly inside on these cold winter days. Don't sit close to the door! They need a foyer!
A small, unassuming bistro with the best food in town. Friendly service, clean, so far every menu item we've tried has been worthy of recommendation.
Great food and great service, moderately priced. Huge biscuits and a plate full of ham (ham& eggs). Hard to get a bad meal there.
I had the Santa fe Turkey to go. Pretty good!
Great place to eat
Best pie in town
Great food
Delicious food and great service. The weekends seem to be their busiest but patients pays off.
Good food, friendly staff.
Great small town food
Service and food was awesome
What a wonderful little cafe and the food was great
Food was good, getting our food service was disorganized, kept having to ask for items like the salad I had ordered as well as the condiments to go with the order.
My family and I have been trying to come to this place the last 3 years (since it opened its doors) but apparently are always in Emmett on a Sunday and Monday (when they’re closed) or after restaurant hours. Yesterday, we were driving through and I saw their open sign so we changed our original plans to eat elsewhere and were so excited! Throughout the years, We have heard from a couple different people that this place is amazing. This restaurant DOESN'T disappoint. Best brisket my husband and I both have ever eaten. He got the sandwich and I got the dinner portion with 2 sides. He LOVED their version of homemade beans - I wasn’t a huge fan but only because I am used to the sweet baked bean style. Best homemade potato salad I have ever eaten and I have eaten a lot. Even the kids’ meals were fantastic. Grilled cheese sandwich on sourdough was soooo gooey and buttery with a perfect outside crust. Hot dog was good sized and longer than most and the bun was buttered and toasted just right. Be sure to get an extra side for the kids if they need one as the kids meals don’t come with a side. We are so glad we got to try this place and cannot wait to try other dishes like steaks or more BBQ! Yum
Blue Ribbon is a small town cafe at its finest. Delicious prime rib. And cinnamon rolls to die for. Good burgers too.
Very friendly staff and fast service. And the food? Outstanding!
Nice people
Their burgers are great and the workers are so nice!
Good place to eat and good bakery items.
Service was a bit lacking but and the food was ok
Worth the drive. I love the baked goods. You have to get there early or they sell out.
Great food and friendly service
Great food Good service
It's good home style cooking
Needs better servers, other than that food was good.
Delicious food. Fast service. Lovely employes. Highly reccomend the sourdough pancakes.
Food and service were great. It wasn't supper clean but they were also short staffed when we were there.
We stopped in for breakfast and the place was busy. The only table that had empty seats had not been cleaned off yet. No problem, we can sit and wait. We did not even so much as get acknowledged. We sat for ten minutes and finally got up to get our own menus. After right at 12 minutes, the waitress came over to clean off the table and pulled the menu out of my hands as she said "we are not serving breakfast any more". Pissed me off so we left.
Best buffalo burgers in town. Plus I'm allowed to use the drive thru
Food and service was very good.
Very good food, burgers and fries cafe, with excellent low prices. My favorite part of this restaurant, however, is the homemade pies, cakes, and breads made available each day. Also, it is easy to get to, and bright inside. Always stop here, when we go through Emmett.
Great food and comfortable place to eat.
Good food & good service
great food and staff
Amazing french toast and very friendly staff
Best home cook food. Great bakery
Great breakfast and lunch...they make their own bread.....
Very good food and priced reasonable.

Blue Ribbon is a small town cafe at its finest. Delicious prime rib. And cinnamon rolls to die for. Good burgers too.
Great service, good friends, friendly, great breakfast
Good
My all time world wide favorite from a beautiful small town!
My favorite item is the caramel rolls! They are wicked good! The cheese cake is another great treat. The fresh baked breads rock! The staff is very friendly and attentive.
Very good food! Decent pricing. The chicken fried steak could be bigger for the price... But otherwise happy.
Excellent service..great food..bought loaf of bread..which they sliced for me..
Love the food here! There was a bit of a wait but completely worth it. Good service and great food with good prices.
Always great food and service.
Had a great chocolate cream pie
Best place in town for home cooked meal!
Delicious food, great friendly service, and good prices. We'll be back!
Good place in a small town. Well worth the off the main road trip to come and get a seat. It’s a small place so the wait can be a bit longer than your stomach likes. We thought the food was tasty and fresh and quick from kitchen to table. The staff was mostly friendly with the exception of one lady. We luckily didn’t get seated in her section. Instead ours was friendly and attentive to our needs. I will return. Thanks!
Enjoy the food and love Donuts
Good food reasonable prices for the portions I would definently recommend
All can say... Our was grime. Must have. Been ha ing a bad day
Employees very hospitable. Our waitress was awesome. Food is so delicious. Priced just right. Large portions. I had the tuna sandwich. They made it into a melt for me. It was so good. My sister had a chicken salad sandwich with a small salad. Everything fresh. The grill cheese sandwich for my niece was awesome. Thick soft bread with plenty of cheese. They give you several choices of sides to go with you burger or sandwich without extra cost. The raspberry tea was really refreshing. Our new place to eat when we visit Emmett.
Great food, very helpful with gluten free, staff very kind and friendly. Everything we've order there has been great.
Blue Ribbon is the hometown, easy going cafe type. VERY VERY friendly, Both times I've gone, some other patron has said hi to me. This is where people go to get breakfast, who aren't in a hurry, just a very nice, relaxed good food place. This place is NOT super fancy, or glamours in any way. If thats what you're going for, look elsewhere.
The service and food were amazing. So friendly.. and even the customers made you feel like family.
Good down home cooking. Very busy place but if you have to wait it is so worth it. The Carmel nut rolls are to die for

Good place to eat especially breakfast
Recently I had a small issue with the service. My wife and I eat here at least twice a month. When I discussed my displeasure with the situation with the manager bubba. He listened and apologized then gave me a $15 gift certificate. Basically redeamed my faith. Great food and a very well run managment..
This place is awesome! Love the food, Love the Staff.
Great service and cafe food. Friendly people. Just what you would expect at a small town cafe. We will be back again soon
Nothing fancy, just really good food and friendly service. Breads are freshly baked and meat is delicious. Highly recommended.
Good breakfast. Reasonably priced. Get there early. It gets crowded later.
Great food, very helpful with gluten free, staff very kind and friendly. Everything we've order there has been great.
Great local place. Great food, great service
An excellent family owned scratch bakery with the tastiest pies, cookies and cinnamon rolls. Their hamburgers on house made buns can't be beat.
When I have friends visiting from out of town...Blue Ribbon Cafe is the dining choice. The food is fresh, portion sizes ample, service with a smile, and did I mention?? Everything is delicious. And the baked goods .. Oh yumm ! I love Blue Ribbon Cafe !
Food and service was amazing. Everyone friendly and the Reuben was the best !!!! Def will be back:)
Had chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes, gravy, Cole slaw. Yummm

The BEST french dips around!
Delicious food, good prices, will go back for sure
Wonderful service, quaint atmosphere and yummy food selections. We especially the breakfast pastries. Try the Elephant Ear (a plate-size Brioche fritter). Tasty daily specials too.
Always delicious! Homemade hamburger buns, rolls etc. Homemade soups, pies! Everything made from scratch!
Love their cinnamon rolls!! Their food is consistently good! Staff are amazing!
Place was packed with people waiting for an open seat. The food still came out quick and delicious.
Amazing French dip!
The food is really good
Nice little place to stop by to get your morning started. They bake most all of the own bread. You really can't go wrong with that you order. They serve all the classics and do them well.
This is a friendly home town place. Good food good prices and clean
This is a wonderful place. Good energy, polite and courteous staff, excellent food. An over the top experience everytime, only trouble is finding a seat sometimes. Keep up the Awesome!
Food was great, service fantastic...Prices were unbelievably wonderful!!!
Love the food, seating can get crowded though. Luckily they have a drive through. Call ahead to order then pick up your lunch.
This place is a small town diner with lots of charm. Everyone is a "honey" or "sweetie" no matter if you've lived here forever or just passing through. They feature amazing specials, deserts, and even bread. You can get buffalo burgers and chili if you're craving something different. It has been featured in a movie before as well. They have a broasted chicken meal to go that is great and don't forget to try the onion rings! They feature a drive thru and outdoor seating, but the vibe and food is so amazing you will want to stay and eat. Parking is a little cramped and lunch and dinner rushes are very busy, but with this place it's not a question why. If it's too busy, call or get an order to go and make it a picnic in the park. You won't be sorry!
Great food and service
Good ol place
Great comfort food restaurant. Appears to be pretty busy all of the time.
I ordered the special, the taco scramble. It was very giod and reasonably priced. My daughters both ordered the grilled cheese with firies. They were happy with their food too. It is a nice little olace for lunch.
Food is always good, fantastic pies. You can call in order and pick up thru drive thru. Only wish they had more seating
Service was great and food was delicious
