Pricey for amount and quality of food. Soggy french fries, sandwich roll, and cole slaw (wilted). Meat amounts particularly skimpy. Plan on spending around $26 for two sandwiches.

Roy Cook

Try the oatmeal raisin cookies.

Used to be a fan but now expensive and not good. Bought cupcakes for a party and everyone agreed they were terrible. Bought banana bread and you couldn’t taste banana and bought a panini that wasn’t even warm. And NO CHANGING TABLE in the restroom. So when I need to change a diaper and I don’t want to lay my kid on a bathroom floor should I change them at my table? Seriously - it’s not hard or expensive to put a changing table in the restroom!

Great place to meet for coffee and a light breakfast or any other hankering your sweet tooth may have. I enjoyed being there being during a spring rain shower. The staff was friendly, unfortunately I got there close to the end of the day and the pickings were not as abundant. You'll definitely want to come early for the largest selection.

Great portion sizes, rustic atmosphere, and outdoor seating with a view of the sawtooths.

Sandwich was amazing but a bit on the expensive side. $14 salad was teeny and hardly worth the money. For a small chicken breast, you should get a massive amount of greens. Also dressing was scarce, in fact we had to ask for more because we couldn't even tell if it was on there. Nice environment though. If you are a fan of dogs eating with you, this place allows it.

Great pumpkin bread!

Great place to relax and enjoy some great food.

Consistently fresh and nutitiously delicious, the food is as welcome as the atmosphere in this bakery/cafe combo. The Baldy Power Bowl is an amalgam of protein and veggies, and with a chai tea, is the boost I need after a morning hike. Go for it.

We had an amazing breakfast!

Our Culinary class came to Ketchum for a Tour of the Limelight Hotel. Big Wood Bread & Cafe was chosen for lunch. We were a big party, but they did great taking our orders and getting the food out!! I was extremely amazed by how awesome my Big Wood Club was. The Coleslaw was out of sight! Great job to all. There front of house staff and the Back of house crew Rocked it!! Will highly recommend this place!! I will be back.

Great quality food however their service is slow. I have visited here 3 times mainly as it is close to my condo (1 mile) and I can walk or bike it. The last visit was the best while the first two had us there for thirty minutes before the food came. Great place for a leisurely conversation. Patio is my favorite weather permitting.

Had a wonderful experience at Bigwood Bread! Great breakfast bowl and yummy drip coffee. Service was very considerate, and we met the owners who are delightful people and local residents. Will be back!

This is a great breakfast place, the pecan sticky bun is unreal! They do what they do extremely well here. There can be a bit of a wait for food, but the folks here are friendly and kind. This restaurant serves some of the healthiest options for breakfast in Ketchum. The Power Bowl probably takes the cake. This place is an excellent addition to the Sun Valley brunch tour. Most of the bread in town comes from this bakery. My one problem with them, and why I did not rate 5/5 is that they do not serve coffee from local roasters, they serve Starbucks. If Sun Valley weren't such a huge coffee city and there wasn't already a huge Starbucks a mile away, I would be okay with this. That is the one thing that I didn't LOVE about bigwood. Other than that, this restaurant hits the mark on all counts.

Food is delicious but service is totally bizarre. They have rules similar to a communist regime. Like you cannot get a plate if you ordered to go. Always one employee is shockingly rude. Other than that go for it.

I had lunch here on 2/28/18. I ordered the street tacos with rice and beans. Coffee for a beverage. Service was good, pleasant gal taking orders and she may be the shift manager. The coffee is good. Where I had an issue is with the main course. I had 3 tacos, two were chicken and one beef. The beef taco was way over cooked. Burned exterior, tough inside. Chicken was over cooked too but not as bad. I could tell if the meat had not been over cooked the flavor would have been great. The sides and salsa were great. I voiced my concerns when asked “ how was your meal”. The response was “ we are trying new staff and I will let them know “. So how does that make me whole? I paid full price for a sub par meal. A long time ago when I was a server I learned to make these problems good by comping the meal or at least the beverages. No such offer here. I am a local and have concerns about coming back. Oh yea, the rice and beans were not hot.
