This was a great treat for us. We went in to just get some desserts to take home. Decided to stay, ordered a Ceaser Salad and a pretzel. We split them and it was awesome. The best pretzel I have ever had. All the people working there were so nice and friendly. Will differently go back and take friends with us.

My cousin and I enjoyed the restaurant/bar so much that we went the very next night on our trip to Stone Mountain! Kristin, Cory the owner and the rest of the crew, they made us feel like we were at “we everybody knows your name!” Even the locals like Will, were such a pleasure to hang out with! Their own brewed hard cider is a must to try! And their food was top notch! Can’t wait to go back!

So I visited here twice in the last two days. The first day I went for breakfast at 11am but they had already switched over to lunch. I settled on the Reuben, it was good. Definitely not the “generous” portion of corned beef they state but that’s fine. The restaurant was mildly busy and the waiter, a tall thin middle aged man, seemed in a big hurry to get me out of the restaurant. Meanwhile there were a good 10 tables empty. He dropped the check and told me to check out in the bakery. The next morning I come for brunch. Different waiter this time. They didn’t have normal breakfast fare on the menu the closest to it is the omelette so I settled again. Food came out quickly and service was good. It was all good until I got up to simply go to the restroom. I was gone no more than three minutes looking forward to sipping my coffee and deciding what I was going to explore that day, to come back and the same tall middle aged waiter from the prior day had instructed the busboy to clear my ENTIRE table!! Gone was what was left of my Bloody Mary, my toast, my water, my coffee. Exasperated I simply asked for the check. No discount for making me feel like they wanted to get me out of there. No they weren’t busy. Nothing. I got an apology from my waiter asking if he could get me anything, what am I going to say???? Seriously at that point even another customer behind me said “Did you seriously take that poor man’s food away?” I was embarrassed. I simply paid my bill even left a tip and walked out. I’m not sure I’ll ever be back. I can tell you one thing I’m not going there alone EVER AGAIN!!

A beautiful restaurant good people delicious food

Eva Marie Solak

The food is to die for. So good. The service is excellent, people are cheerful, and the atmosphere is fun. But the food is out of this world. Highly recommended.

The last place where I'd expect a little enclave of the German diaspora is in suburban/small town Atlanta. Yet here we are. The Village Corner is a very interesting joint: it has a restaurant proper, an oldie tavern, and a bakery with sweets and pastries. The tavern only seems to open for dinner (or late lunch, if that's your thing) but from the pictures it looks lovely. Die Würste und die Biere are home-made, and quite good. They have captured that rural German flavor quite well. The owners are a German family that have certainly offered a delicious part of their culture for us American foodies. If you find yourself in Stone Mountain, especially after a long trek in the eponymous geographical feature, it's worth to stop for a meal, or even a beer, in here. Pröst!

Patrick Stine

We ate here two nights in a row while on vacation. The food was amazing and the house cider was fabulous. We highly encourage anyone in the area to try them out.

Shannon Nieves

Food was amazing!!! I had never been here before and we were looking for something different while on vacation! Soo good and the bakery was just as Delicious! Even if you can't eat it all there please go to the bakery and get something! The lovebug dessert was so good!

Wellington Merritt

Great Breakfast, and period decor. Bakery has great stuff. Great German Beer, and the dinner side has a lot of German people who seem to approve of the authenticity. Great stop over for cyclists on Stone Mountain Trail.

Ana Cooks Sam

Great food and service.

Allyson Zamora

Great service and food! Food came out quickly too.

Rob Kocher

Always a favorite of our family! Great food, drink and atmosphere. The staff is down to earth, nice and does a great job.

Bianka B Me

Nice and quaint. I visited just to see what it was about and bought a couple of connoli's. There's a bakery that makes fresh baked goods everyday. Met the owner, who spoke in German with my friend, nice guy. The connoli's were delicious. They have specific hours for lunch and dinner.

TWO GUYS AND A HOG. COM

Went there for breakfast and really enjoyed it the food was delicious bacon sausage eggs perfect bread was off-the-charts delicious service was great.

Travis Harris

I really liked the German atmosphere it had great beers and sausage, sauerkraut, and potatoes. I recommend paying the $8 and trying 4 different beers that have 4 oz a piece to sample some of the in house brews. They also had a bakery that looked really good with a variety of sweets. If i am every back in Atlanta I would go again it was clean with great service, had a great list of beers local and domestic, and the prices where very reasonable.

Dinorah Serra

The food and desserts are very good and authentic. Also they brew beer there and it is good. We had a good time there. Only thing is a little pricey.

Renegade Roxy

One of my top 5 favorite restaurants in Atlanta. Delicious house-made beer, cider, French toast, sausages, and giant pretzels, GREAT and friendly service every time. I love this place. Perfect place for a brunch after a hike up Stone Mountain. I would eat here every weekend if I could!

Bill Evans

Pretty awful, easily the worst German food I've had. Avoid the place at all costs but if you somehow get trapped here definitely don't order the saurbraten.

J Jacobson

Fun atmosphere and tasty drinks!

Leah Chapple

The portions of the dishes are truly substantial! They have a sausage plate for two that would easily feed four. The food is good, not amazing, but definitely good and worth the price. The staff is ok, and the reason it only gets 4 stars. The interior is interesting and unique for the area, there are so many things to look at. The bakery has a large variety. If you decide to get dessert you will go to the bakery to select your own and then it will be brought to you, warmed up if you ask for it to be. The apple pie is very good, not syrupy and sweet, tastes homemade.

Monika Henry

Very disappointing. They should not be allowed to call that German food, because what they serve is not German food.

Joe Burgess

Portions very small but tasted good. Don't think I will return or recommend.

Elizabeth Cowan

Gracious, this food is good. I lived in Germany for two years, this was the closest thing I’ve had since then. The atmosphere is fantastic, the food is delicious and the staff are super friendly. Great dinner spot after a day of hiking around Stone Mountain Park as it’s really close to the south entrance.

Suzanna Balcom

Incredible bakery! Goat cheese mini cheesecake with apricot topping was heavenly.... Their dining room menu is also authentic German yum. Worth every penny.

Christina Walter

Had a wonderful experience there food fantastic service was top notch..his name was Corey..thank you

Ryan Newhouse

The absolute best place to eat. If you're looking for Authentic German food this is it!!!!!!! Good prices and even better beer!!

Amber Wozniak

Delicious authentic German food with a great beer selection. My husband said it was the best German food he's had since he got back from Germany.

Kathy W

Love this authentic German restaurant. Great selection of beers and food. Great for lunch or dinner or just casual seats at the bar

Aaron Brown

Great local restaurant with great German food! Staff is always very helpful. Our favorite is the Zitrönen Schnitzel. We want to try something new because it all sounds so good, but the Zitrönen Schnitzel draws us in every time. A great place to bring family and also to grab some fresh bread or desserts on your way out the door.

Tennille Clayton

Order breakfast via doordash. Got eggs, sausage, potatoes and croissant. Mom had the same but with a biscuit. It arrived very soon after ordering and the food was very tasty. Potatoes were seasoned perfectly, eggs fresh, sausage was sausagy. I will order again.

Jason Arnold

The food was amazing! So authentic and reasonably priced. Our service was excellent and the pasties are divine! I will be back soon and with more friends.

Roberto Listte

One of the few nice places for dinner around the area. Restaurant, bar and bakery all in one. Traditional german food and beers among other local things to choose.

David Nelson

Very nice staff and unique atmosphere that gives it a slightly European (German) feeling. First time visitor and, for the price, the breakfast meal was pretty average, but definitely satisfactory. Suggest offering something as an option to potatoes (the ubiquitous breakfast accompaniment for whatever reason) to act as a side for omelettes and egg dishes. Will likely visit again as the bakery options were a nice tasty treat at the end of a what otherwise was a standard breakfast.

Thomas Sanders

Good German food. Nice restaurant

David Bird

Great atmosphere. Love the sausage plate. Get the Love Bug pastry for dessert.

Ben Sigmon

Quaint little place with some good sandwiches. I got the club turkey and it was good; however it was a bit dry due to the lack of spread. They have a wide selection of beers and will even offer flights if you want to try a selection of what they have to offer. They’re fresh made kettle chips that come with the sandwiches are to die for. This is a spot I come to after I go on a hike in Stone Mountain, as it’s just a 5 minute drive from the park.

Warren Carley

Fun place with authentic tasty German food

Ryan Gray

Just stopped in for their amazing apple bread and a love bug. Delicious desserts and incredibly friendly staff!

Jasmine Poss

I cannot say enough about this place !! It gas a wonderful old world atmosphere! You are greeted right inside the door by the mouth watering aromas of fresh european pastries from their onsite bakery. To the right is a beautifully appointed dining area with attentive wait staff ready to grant tour every sausage related desire. To the left is a wood paneled tap room with a full bar plenty of soccer (visit during a match to really get that European pub experience) and.. wait for it... in house brewed beers !! Add to this that they have the BEST German sausages and cuisine I have yet to taste in the United States and you have wins all the way!!!!

Ryan Rice

My family and I found this place almost on accident while on vacation a few years ago. Some of the best German food I've ever had. Great authentic atmosphere! If I ever venture to Stone Mountain again, I'm definitely coming back!

Jackie Zabielski

Awesome food and service.

Chery1 Holmes

excellent customer service by Maurice. He was very very accommodating he gave us great customer service it was well worth the price and the food was excellent!

Preston Farley

The restaurant itself is straight out of Bavaria, but the cuisine is mostly American with a smattering of German dishes. There are pastries for sale with the same US/German split. For the American who had never been to Germany, this would be a nice experience. For anyone who's been to Germany, this was a big let down.

skirkland1980 .

Hamburger was mediocre. Patty was dry and flavorless. Same goes for the bacon. Actually the worst bacon I've ever had. A german restaurant should have the best burgers right? I've had better burgers from fast food joints. Service was decent except for not being able to pay the server directly. Instead i had to go up front and wait for someone buying $70 worth of pastries. Just go elsewhere.

Hashaka Davis

I hired this company after tasting their cakes at a bridal show. I had a consultation and decided to have them make my wedding cake. When it came time to make my final payment the cost nearly doubled what I was quoted and the cake looked nothing like I had imagined or the picture I provided. My guest did inform me that the cake tasted good, so that’s a plus. My cake was to have strawberry filling and it did NOT. My cake also molded less than 2 days following my wedding. My daughter removed the icing from a slice of her cake and there was mold on the cake itself. The owner is very nice and friendly but for what I spent I was not satisfied at all not to mention we were not even able to eat our cake because it was molded. A total disappointment and waste of money. I do not recommend this bakery for wedding cake needs at all.....!!!!

Morgan Turner

Zero atmosphere. Bartender was nice..... Another server came back behind the bar while were eating, talking bad about other employees and work environment. Bathrooms were not comfortably clean, smelled of urine. Food was good. I would not likely return.

Derek Mace

Came early on Sunday. Have been coming here for years. I love the bakery and atmosphere. Sadly, the meal was subpar with much smaller portions and all food was lukewarm. I will give them the benefit of the doubt as a busy day or difficulty in the kitchen, but for the price, I expect a better meal next time or I will send all of the food back. I take no pleasure in writing this review because I have memories of excellent meals here. Today was unacceptable however - our meal was roughly $75 for two of us (we ordered a lot), and I expect better than what was delivered to the table.

Rachael Kamen

Had a nice lunch here after Stone Mountain. I had the Southern Pecan Coffee Bock and it was amazing! I also had the potato pancakes. Really good food. My husband did the 64oz Boot of Beer. The bakery items looked delicious. I would go back here again if I was in town.

Nunya Bidnez

German food to die for, but the American food is so so. The bakery food will amaze you, but bring your checkbook because it's pretty pricey. the steak Diane was pretty good, but the sauteed vegetables were the best part of the meal.

Shane Hensley

We brought some friends in from Utah and took them to brunch and it was absolutely fabulous from start to finish I suggest if you're into sausages check this place out they have all kinds of other stuff it was all hot and fresh

Brittany Foster

Amazing little spot. I highly recommend checking it out.

Ruth Hartwell

Flavorful food, great variety for a diner, reasonable prices.

Crystal Thierry

Amazing must go. Hung out all day and just stopped in to pick up a pint of applesauce. Ha. Love the staff

Amy Southerland

Great food and great service..

Dwight Blinson

Good food and delightful service from Avon.

Mar Williams

Great food great place great price

Tonya Puustinen

I thoroughly enjoyed the apple pecan pancake.

Stacy Saghini

Great Birthday brunch! Friendly attentive server. Will go back soon to check out the bar and awesome beers. Bakery items look fantastic as well. Got a piece of Grand Marnier Torte for later!

Juri Santacatterina

Great craft beers and nice German-oriented environment. The best cakes of Georgia are available here.

David Cleveland

Great food and desserts! Friendly service and quick!

Darren Fletcher

I brought my family to Stone Mtn. Park and after a full day, we made this our stop for dinner. I had the Zitronen Schnitzel and it was delicious. Parking is difficult in peak times but you can browse the bakery while you wait.

Justin Barnes

I stopped by The Village Corner for the first time. I was immediately greeted by Bryan with a “y”. He was wearing Lederhosen! I didn’t know much about German beer or cuisine. Bryan let me sample several beers until I found one I liked. He also recommended an entree. Sausage plate with bratwurst and smoked sausage. It was awesome. I’ll definitely be back! Ask for Bryan with a “y”.

mike Harris

Absolutely love this place. Great food and the desserts are to die for. The staff are great and the beer is cold. Awesome atmosphere, I've been several times and I'll be back anytime I'm in the area.

Shane Jenkins

Good food, small portions, terrible service. Hostess forgot to put name on list and delayed out seating by 30 min. Terrible communication and unwilling to do anything to correct mistakes.

Chad McCool

This is a can't miss place. The food and atmosphere were second to none. I tasted 3 different dishes and they were all great. The service was also excellent. I will definitely be going back soon

Ashley Cotner

Went for my birthday. The food was okay but the service was abysmal. We had a large party so the server knew he was automatically getting his 20 percent gratuity so he not once checked on us after the food arrived. I must note that the restaurant was not busy at all during this time. Very disappointed and I wish I had gone to a nicer restaurant for my birthday.

Elizabeth Disney Treadwell

Saurbraten was really good. As was the bread. Gotten Americanized over the years. But I'm biased; I grew up on German food. Pastries are American with some German influence.

Shane Johnson

Great service, excellent food, and beer. The desserts are bit pricey but definitely worth trying. Our server was one of the best I've seen in a long time.

Stefan Schurter

Great German food. Good beer, good service at an affordable price. Try it!

Stephen P

Nice atmosphere. Everyone is friendly from the waiters and waitresses to the owner.

Amir A.

The menu offers a broad range of options and the beer is delicious, but they really need to work on the service; in particular, the staff don't look happy.

Nancy ONeal

Excellent Southern pecan coffee. Delicious German food and brunch choices.

Sue Rainey

Well, I really like German food and this is very good. The bakery is Exellent. The coffee is So Good! It's a family business and the original owners live upstairs! I don't drink. Part of this place is a brewery and I am told by reliable sources that the beer is very good. I have received good service every time I have visited.

Abigail Holmes

The food, beer on tap, and service were good. I'm a vegan and there were a few nice options. My meat eating friends loved what they ordered. Don't get the canned beer, though! Two of them exploded as we walked to out car, and a third one was completely flat when we ended up drinking it. They replaced the exploded cans, but it's not worth the hit it miss quality and getting beer all over your car/bag/self.

Diane Steele

Absolutely fabulous, as always! Crab cakes Florentine was a yummy treat!

Craig Petraszewsky

Great food and atmosphere.

Mesely Martinez

The food is delicious. Tried the dish for two that comes with assorted sausages and bratwurst. So worth it!

Denis Liamkin

This was an awesome place. The sausage plate for 2 was a great deal and all the sausages were great! I would come back again if I was in the area. The only complaint I would have (which isn't affecting the star rating) is I would get rid of the little sign in the back room near the restroom that is currently serving as well decor, that says something along the lines of "my wife says I don't listen - at least that's what I think she said". It's doesn't make me think of Germany. :)

Lee Nalley

My wife and I had lunch at the Village Corner German Restaurant for the first time and it was excellent! We had to much that we now have another lunch leftover. If you get a chance, stop by, you won't be sorry.

Trice Foster

Food wasn't that great for the price.

alan woodward

Lived in and of area all my life near been until 6 or 8 months ago. I like it !

Matthew Griffin

It was very clean. The staff was extremely friendly and willing to help with anything. I will definitely visit here again.

Tamara Bennett

This was rather disappointing. I am German. My husband took me here today for my Birthday dinner. Our waiter Maurice was rather rude and it took him a while to take care of us. When I tried to get his attention he didn't react. No refills on the water, nothing. The appetizer were good. But the main dishes were really bad. My husbands Jägerschnitzel wasn't cooked through, and when we pointed that out to our waiter he said it has to be pink because of the way it is cut. I have cooked and ordered Schnitzel a whole lot in my life, but this was raw! His other piece was cooked, but when he cut it he found a hair in it cooked into the batter! As for my Schnitzel: It was tasteless, the red cabbage was overcooked and gooey. I am pregnant and after we saw the raw meat and the hair I didn't want to risk anything. I had taken a total of two bites of my three pieces Schnitzel and one bite of the red cabbage. They still charged us for my meal. However, my husband received a pound of coffee for free. And the Manager did not argue over the meet and the hair. Definitely will not ever come back. Edit: Even though my meal was charged, we saw that it had been taken of through discounts. So we only paid for the appetizers. Thank you.

Keith Kidd

The beer was cold and tasty. We had salads and a pretzel and left fat and happy!

Hamilton Jackson

Lunch on Saturday was very disappointing. A male waiter took our drink order, but failed to pass it along to our waitress, Nicki. She had to take our drink order again. Drinks came quickly & were good. I ordered the ham & Swiss quiche...the texture was odd and I wondered if any eggs were even used; flavor bland. My sister ordered the spinach quiche and mom ordered the almond broccoli & cheddar quiche. All agreed, just blah. I also ordered a cup of tomato & basil soup with my quiche. Took one bite, not pleasing to the pallet at all. The pretzel & Waldorf salad were good, though.

Jason Smith

Great destination for a German meal experience. Quiet tables and great food.

Howard West

The food was delicious. The beers were interesting. We tried two flights to try all the craft beers and found some of them to be flat. The waiter was terrible. There was a white guy with nice hair who was wonderful, the lady working behind the bar was also outstanding. However, the waiter we had barely spoke to us and was very rude. I would consider eating here again if they fired the rude waiter Order a pretzel and a hefewizen then GET OUT!

William Babij

Dinner here was always amazing! A terrific German dining experience. Their beer is crazy good too!

k2440

The dishes we had were authentic. Zitronen schnitzel was tender and thin, not dry or overcooked. Spaetzle was flavorful- made the right way by cooking in the pan after being made. Pretzel was GIANT! Beer was great, service was friendly and professional. Atmosphere was way more tasteful than in some of the pictures! Everything was great, even for this super-critical connoisseur!

Donald Stephanic

Great food at reasonable prices. Excellent beer selection also.

Thomas Turner

Friendly and professional wait staff make it work .Phenomenal selection of very serious breads, pound cakes of every flavor, and delicious cakes, pies, cookies, and every other yummy sweets one can think of!!! Have launched here twice and not disappointed!

John Johnson

Though I only had their homemade pretzels as an appetizer, they offered a WONDERFUL selection of beers

Fredrik Olsson

Great brunch options and a fantastic selection of European baked goods including bread.

James Smith

We've been coming to this restaurant for 35 years and it is wonderful with fresh baked bakery items and fresh-made dishes. Much better than the chain restaurants

Tony Knuppel

This has always been one of my favorite restaurants in the metro area, but today's visit lacked in customer service. The food was amazing as always. It was slow and the staff was goofing around. I don't mind that, but when many of your items are forgotten and needed a reminder, that kinda sucks. Excellent food, love the atmosphere, but I hope next time we are better served.

Andrew Jones

Not sure if everyone took the day off but they had only one server who really needed help. The food was not close to warm. The scones were old and hard. Just not a good first experience.

Miata Williams

It's the best german resturant. Great food, good people and good service. I would eat here everyday if i could!!!!!!!

Atlan DA

Delicious food. We had the snaekoll's in they were outstanding. Little pricey. Great atmosphere and good beers

Carrie Garner

We tried this restaurant because my kid was excited about it being a tavern and I'm glad we let him pick. The food was all really good and plentiful. The staff, especially our waitress Madelon, were very friendly, going out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The items in the little gift shop were cute and priced competitively.

Ahmet Akan

Great variety on house brewed beer.

Micheal Ross

Food was very good, great service, will be going back

Elizabeth McGuire

This is one of my favorite places to go. House brewed beer is amazing, especially that Oktoberfest! And if I could have the pretzel every day, my life would be complete. Great atmosphere, great service. Just settle in for awesome beer, excellent food and save room for delicious desserts. Cheers!

Sooner Rosario

Had a great time at this German restaurant during Oktoberfest. We aren't drinkers but still enjoyed the festivities. Our kids got to make pretzels, we played corn hole, listened to live music. Customer service was great! Thanks Rebecca for the invite! She was our waitress we met while grocery shopping the day before. The place is huge, even includes a banquet hall. There was also a nice selection of baked goods and pastries for purchasing.

John Outler

Great food, beer and music! This cozy local favorite sits in historic Stone Mountain, a minute away from the words largest piece of exposed granite. What's not to love?

scorpionhorde

Very cool place, good atmosphere nice staff good house made beer. Good wine.

Daniel Kirkland

This is the best food you can get in town. They have a wide variety of authentic German Food. The staff is very polite. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Our waitress Kristin was amazing. She brought our food quickly and was very polite. They also have a bakery with many pastries, cookies, cakes, and confections. Wonderful place to bring the family and have a good time.

jeannie dillard

Great food and people. Highly recommend.

Chuck Cimarik

Schnitzel was very good as was the spatzle. Music was great

Sharon Donahue

Wonderful place for lunch or dinner. Prices aren't bad. Atmosphere is warm and inviting. We had reservations for 10 and were accommodated easily.

Robin Harris

Great food great service

Annemarie Fisher

Fantastic experience! Decor is authentic, food amazing. Owners from Germany bake all the baked goods daily. Beer brewed in house. Great service, perfect experience!

Diana Hummel

Good authentic German food and beer. Have nice Sunday brunch with unlimited mimosas. Potato pancakes we're like traditional ones in Germany. Nice sausage platter to share which allows you to try all the options.

Tracy Jakes

Food was very good and our server, Cory, was excellent. With a party of 17, his service was great.

Kim Schroder

Nice little hometown pub, this is not a dressy place, German quality is good, this is not like a Frankenmuth or some of your other German style restaurants. Very Good for this area...staff was very polite.

Jeff Grundman

Best German restaurant in the area. Good food, good beer, good service. They have growlers available if you'd like to take some of their house brews with you. They also have fantastic baked goods to go. Excellent breads, traditional German desserts, and a variety of cakes and cookies.

jesper

Nice restaurant. The potato wedges and vegetable were good, the schnitzel tasted more like a pancake. Overall it was good

Cheryl Radwanski

The atmosphere just so German. The food is delicious . And stop by the bakery, unbelievable German desserts that they have there.Fair price be.

tony barrientos

My brother and I stopped in to get a bite to eat and we enjoyed the food and the delicious pastries too. I recommend this location to anyone looking for great food and friendly service.

Mary Wolfe

Well, we tried to have a nice special birthday dinner this Sunday afternoon at the Village Corner. We were handed a brunch menu. I tried to ask a staff member if we could order off the dinner menu and could not get an answer except how wonderful the brunch menu was. I had looked at the brunch menu and their was no entree that I wanted to eat. I repeated my question a little louder "Can we order off the dinner menu"? This is a yes or no question that should not have been hard to answer. She refused to answer my question demanding I tell he what I wanted without seeing the menu that I wanted to see. I gave up on my birthday plans and was slamming the menu down on the podium to leave, when she stuck her hand between my menu and the podium, accused me of striking her, and told us never to return. I don't think I would go back where they cannot answer a yes or no question but rather waste my time and be very rude. So much for trying to support DeKalb Co. businesses. We ate in Gwinnett.

triniRUDEgal

First visit to this place but it looks good. They bake cakes and pastries ,serve breakfast and lunch

Ben Brumfield

Unless you go upscale, it's the only decent place in Stone Mountain village. If you're homesick for Germany or curious about it, this is a decent place to go to get a bit of the feel. The food has a home cooked quality to it. Also a good place for cake and coffee. Menu is not just German but has a broad selection.

Steve Futch

We eat at this Restaurant every year when we go to Stone Mountain. Any time of day, the meals are wonderful. The bakery is great too. You can eat a meal, and top it off with something from the bakery. Their type of food is different, and always a pleasant surprise. We even watched a football game there, during our visit on Friday. We'll go back every chance we get.

Richard Lyon

Good food and excellent service. Loved the bakery

Terry Preston

Customer service was Awesome food was lackluster. I order crabcake I tasted nothing but bread and the looked like chicken oattiesy

Joshua Maddox

This little tavern made my week. I had the charcuterie board, the 6 beer sampler, and a Reuben sandwich while listening to live music. All of it was wonderful the atmosphere was great. Unfortunately was too full to get something at the bakery. There's a little gift shop too.

The Traveling Smiths

Great atmosphere, friendly staff & very tasty food!

david johnson

The food and beer was fantastic, however the service from our waiter was lacking. The bakery items we got on the way out were also great. It's worth a stop if you're in the area, but you might be better off sitting at the bar.

Kelley Stone

The food at our Easter Brunch was excellent! Everyone ordered something different and everyone really enjoyed their meal.

Tina Mond

Went for lunch and bought pastries and cake. Every item, the meal and service was great. Husband went back the next day for cake and pastries. They were great as usual.

Terri Collier

The service was not good , I did like the food ,chicken Alfaro ... and swinehoxex...

hypraktiv

Great food and service. You will enjoy.

Heidi Campbell

Excellent food and great service, but some silverware was dirty

Mathew Simmons

UN believably amazing quality of food this place is a bit of a hidden gem I had one of the most amazing meals cooked in a German style here you must try it

WL LW

We used to eat desserts here often until one day when I took a bite of of the chocolate cake and it tasted like vomit. I had eaten this cake several times and it had never tasted like that before. That was the last time I ever ate dessert there. As far as the restaurant side goes, the dish I ordered appeared to be just dough and sauce. I was very disappointed in the dish and the waitresses attitude.

Christine Simpson

Went there with relatives from Germany. We sat in the Biergarten which is very nice. We didn't want a huge heavy meal so opted for German potato pancakes, Kaese Spaetzle and potato soup. The food was AWFUL! I am from Germany and the potato soup is nothing like German potato soup. It was more like a broth with potato hunks in it. The potato cakes were very small and the accompanying "cranberry sauce" was tasteless. The Kaese spaetzle tasted like Mac & Cheese out of the box. We also ordered a slice of Black Forest Torte which was equally as awful. Dry, not enough whipped cream in the layers and there was a complete lack of the traditional Kirschwasser taste. Also tried the Almond Apricot Torte which looked nice but had no apricot taste and was just sugary. The food was just terrible and we were very disappointed. To add insult to injury, I ended up paying $40 for this awful meal. Seems that the proprietor is more interested in raking in the money than giving patrons quality, authentic tasting food. We will not come back - a thorough disappointment.

Ryan Tidwell-Davidson

I'm sure this isn't new to anyone, but this is a beautiful little gem, if not JUST for the breakfast options, but the bakery! A legit bakery, while not a huge inventory of baked goods, there's plenty to satisfy. Get the apple bread french toast and a bear claw as you leave. (maybe 2)

rs cooper

Cory was an excellent server. Food is Fantastic Will definitely be back

Paul Markovich

Love this place. Their Potato pancake appetizer is awesome!

I don't want to be unfair but they are too pricey on their Danish and bakery items. I haven't tasted their foods, no thank you. I will go to Farmer's market or bake my own. They keep a good crowd, so they may be good.

Great food and atmosphere. The sausage platter for 2 was amazing and perfect serving sample of all the sausages, kraut, and German potatoes. Highly recommend.

Dinner was excellent! Beer was good also. Best German food I have had. Definitely going back.

Brittany Cusanek

Great, authentic food and great patio. Went for lunch yesterday and came back for breakfast today. Highly recommend

Great little gem. You really feel like you're walking into a german pub. The food was great and the selection inhouse brews are amazing.

My favorite restaurant! I give it 5 stars for the delicious food food not for the customer service!!!

The worst sauerbraten I’ve ever had in my life. Dry and lifeless. Likely microwaved, along with the crippled Spätzle. The rotkohl was bland and disappointing. The entire menu is a bizarre scatter of dishes from numerous cuisines, which should have been the first clue that the German dishes would not be up to par. The locals seemed to favor the burgers. Do NOT go here for good German food. Yuck.

Had the spinach omelet it was delish!!

This place was a very nice change from the ordinary! My fiance highly recommends the Burgermeister! A huge burger with bacon, bratwurst and beir cheese! Oh yeah! The giant preztels are delicious. So many interesting things to look at. The server was on time with drink refills. On top of all that there is a full service bakery in there with all kinds of pastries and desserts. We took our desserts with us because we were so full. We took home a lemon square, a cannoli, and another pastry (that I forgot the name of). All 3 we're top notch. The pastry was a layered puff pastry with a cream filling with a sugar coating on top with chocolate drizzled on one side. Amazing! Ok.... I want to go back right now!

Nice folks and good food. It has been here over 40 years - still privately owned and operated. I had Turkey sandwich and tomato basil soup with home made potato chips, wonderful!

The Giant pretzel is indeed giant! Served with cheese and mustard. I ended up purchasing my own jar of the mustard. It has a hint of sweet with all the wonderful flavors of ground mustard.

Made this our go to point after a 10 hr. Drive.loved it before. Waiter pretty much disappeared after he took our orders.never got a second round of drinks ordered. My meal was good but not alot of gravy and they wanted to charge 75 cents for more. It was 18.00,can I get some gravy! My husband got flank steak, huge mistake. It was 6 inches and super tough. They didn't have the ribeye special he got before.band was good and really like the place but a huge disappointment this time after driving 10 hrs for it.

My wife and I had dinner here while visiting Stone Mountain. We both enjoy German food and this place was highly recommend. We went for an early dinner and the restaurant was mostly empty when we arrived. They brew and sell their own beer, as well as other typical German beers. I had a flight of their beers to sample a variety of styles. I liked 3 of the 4 beers. The pilsner didn't taste true to a German pilsner and had an odd aftertaste. The food was great with the exception of the smoked sausage, which was partially burnt on one side. Aside from that, I really enjoyed it.
