Really tasty, fresh donuts. Good variety. We haven't tried other items on the menu, but there were many interesting options. I wish there was some form of rewards program, as we find the donuts to be a bit expensive.

Unique treats! My 5 and 3 year old love when I bring home a box of a variety of their doughnuts! Each one is like a little surprise and the flavors are so different than just typical boring doughnuts. My husband, who is tried and true a stick to the classics kind of guy, has even really enjoyed the unexpected flavors I pick from the great choices offered. The lemon and orange flavor doughnuts are household favs along with all the adorable mini cupcakes! I dont live in Rome so I cant get these every day which makes it even more of a treat. But if I did live in Rome, it's safe to say we would be broke and fat bc i would be here all the time!

The customer service we had was excellent! However, I’m not saying the sweets weren’t good; it just wasn’t my taste. The brownie was more like a fudge slice, the lemon cake had no lemon flavor, and I don’t know if I like cannolis (because I’ve never had one) or if I just don’t like their cannoli. But we did like the red velvet cupcake! We got a variety of things because we had never been before. We were disappointed with 4 out of the 6 things we bought. And they didn’t have any carrot or German chocolate. You have to special order those. We didn’t get a donut. Which apparently that’s what you go here for.

I love their sausage balls they definitely have this down pat macaroons are pretty good, some of the pastries are pretty good. as always there's a few things that they don't quite do as well as other places and they do things better than the others. And they're really close to work

Their cupcakes aren't the best. Mainly you cannot taste very much chocolate in them, the lemon cupcake has a weird aftertaste in the cake part, and none of the cupcakes have much flavor.

Small shop with down home ladies got my girls the chocolate strawberries for Valentine’s Day they like them a lot more then Sherry’s Berry’s that I had got them before had wonderful cupcakes and donuts as well if you have the sweet tooth itch this is the spot update this is the birthday cake they made for my daughter exactly like picture my wife sent them they have pride love and passion in their creations

A Roman staple. Formerly known as Hanna's Bakery, this place has been satisfying sweet tooths ranging from wedding cakes to donut holes. The glazed twists and the filled donuts are my personal favorites. My one hesitation is the fritters. I think they changed the recipe/process, because whereas they used to be tall, well formed, almost fluffy, and full of apple, the recent ones I bought were flat, heavy, and almost chewy, and there didn't seem to be a lot of fruit. Literally everything else I've gotten here, though, is delicious! Their location is super convenient, and the interior has sort of the same hipster atmosphere as Swift and Finch down the road.

Their jelly filled donuts are sooo good. They will kind of customize treats for you. I ordered a cronut and had them filled with raspberry jelly and its finger licking good. They have friendly staff but always seem tired lol. Only one complaint, they close too early!!!!! 6p?!! They do realize people dont get off work probably from 4p-6p and then when someone had a bad day and want a treat they get slapped in the face because they close at 6p!! Lol.

A friend of mines Birthday cake was from here. After having a slice, I realized it was the BEST cake I have ever tasted! (and I've had a lot a amazing cakes before). I wrote down the name of this place and took my mom a couple weeks later. We shared a slice of rainbow cake (pictured below), it was as delicious as I remembered it to be. My mom was amazed by how good it was too! The Sweet Bar gets a 10/10 from me! My mom now wants this to be our new date spot over the usual Honey Moon Bakery (which is also amazing btw) If you haven't tried the Sweet Bar yet, I HIGHLY recommend going, you won't regret it!

Went to THe Sweet Bar on a recent visit to Rome.. What a nice place this is. Very friendly staff and the donuts are the best... They have a drive through window and inside seating... They offer all kind of cakes for whatever occasion ... They are closed on Sundays.

We have used them for 2 years for Birthday cakes. My wife stopped in this evening to get a cake for Friday. She asked for a book to look at for cake design ootions. One girl politely obliged and gave her a book. Another lady said those are outdated and everything current is online. Not a big deal! So once she picked one out and told her it was for Friday, the lady said " we require a 48 hour notice". My wife did the math and said it would technically be 47 hours, could they not do it. She told told her that she just didn't think it would be possible. The lady that does them want even there, so not sure what the hour difference mattered. No worries we found someone else and wont bother to inconvenience this establishment any longer. A perfect example of customer-no-service.
