We (a group of 7 ladies) went here when my sister was wedding dress shopping. The pastries were incredible. Some of the best I’ve had, and definitely the best I’ve found in GA. These people are really pros. I do wish they would make the place prettier, but maybe that’s why the prices are so fair.

Unexpected pleasure. Food was great. I got a hot sandwich on homemade bread, bought a baguette to take home, reasonably priced, the owner and team were quite friendly. Clean eat in cafe. Highly recommend.

Nice little place to get lunch. But get it to-go because it's like eating on a subway. Really cramped and tons of people. Food feels like it's all home made. Not overly impressed with the dessert pastries but still good. They hit the spot but you aren't craving them later. Had the Normandy hot ham sandwich three different times and it's usually very good. This last time I went they must've almost been out of bread because it was like they turned a breadstick into a sandwich, it was comically small but still good. The French onion soup filled me up so wasn't too bad that the sandwich was child size. The owner is friendly and the ladies in the back are very nice. Want to do breakfast or crepes on Saturday one day soon. Definitely worth checking out, would give four and a half stars if I could

I'm almost without words to describe how good the food here is. Stopped in for the first time today to see if they had chocolate croissants. Bought 2 plus a ham quiche. The croissants are great, and the quiche is hands down the best quiche I have ever had. Absolutely amazing.

I finally made it here for the first time a few weeks ago and I'm in love! The food is always delicious (I crave their sandwiches at least once a week now), And the owner who works the counter is nothing but nice. My only complaint is that he convinced me an oatmeal cookie was diet friendly, bc, ya know, it's oatmeal! (Ok, I WAS pretty easily convinced) It was so good that I get one every time now. Lol. Everything is always super fresh and tasty!

This was my first time at this restaurant, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a quaint little place, but it has incredible standards. The food tasted so fresh, and it was really good. I went there for brunch and had a combo. It came with a chicken friand, tomato basil soup, and a drink. It was a little pricey for brunch, but the food was definitely worth it in my opinion. I really liked the ambiance of the restaurant. It was a great place to talk and catch up with one of my fiends. I talked to the owner a little bit when I was ordering, and he seemed really nice and friendly. I didn't have any of the pastries, but they looked really tasty.

How I never came to this place living in Duluth for 10 years blows my mind. It’s a small little spot with delicious made fresh pastries and sandwiches! They have espresso as well~ interior wise is nothing fancy but the service is amazing and the food is fresh and delicious. Originally I was going to grab breakfast at La Madeleine, however their quality at the Duluth was not as how it used to be, so wanted to venture out to a new place. Be careful getting into the plaza though, it’s not a very spacious parking area and lots of joined hills. I’d post pictures but it’s better to go in person.

Somehow I've managed to overlook this gem of a bakery. Finally got to try their fresh baked food and man is it delicious. I am gonna have to visit here often to make up for lost time. Amazing. We just found it on Google maps, thought it sounded good and the photos made it even more of a sure thing. It's a cozy little place but with the nicest people working there and the best food. We bought breakfast sandwiches and some treats. Then we loved it all so much we bought some more to go. Try an eclair and a napoleon if you're looking for sweet. The bacon and egg croissant sandwich was killer if you are looking for savory. I'm considering going there again tomorrow morning actually. Go try it.

This place is simple. Their delicious food and pastry is simple. That's not a bad thing. It is a very rare art form. Simple is difficult to achieve. Simplicity is greatness. Simple is special. If I had to choose a different word, I'd go with fantastic! By far, the best Italian salami sandwich I've ever had. You'll be hard-pressed to find anything else close to this incredible and complete sandwich.

There is no words... soup was a bliss of deliciousness. Breads were perfect in every way (especially cheese danish) sandwich and crapes too good to only have one. Had lunch special which is sandwich and soup with drink and chips. As a european I can say, this is the real deal. If you really want authentic french pastry, bread, cakes, crepes and quiche, this is the place. Service is very good and friendly. But you gotta hurry up, the stuff is sold out quickly.

Great little bakery, casual for sandwiches, soup, and down-home French pastry. Owner is nice and always there. They are pretty darned busy around lunch and breakfast so be prepared for a little wait if you go at those times. Saturday is the best because they do sweet and savory crepes that day! Simple food, but honestly made and delicious. A little spendy, but no more than an ihop and very satisfying. Plus you are supporting local!!!!

This is the best place to eat Croissants. They are both flacky with a crunch and soft as the clouds. Costumer service is great and there is enough space to eat inside. Once you go there, get everything, there will not be a wrong choice

This place is a Gem compare to all the overrated franchise bakeries around the area like Mozart or Sweet Hut. The sweet bake goods are absolutely amazing. It had just right amount of sweetness. On top of that, the owner is extremely friendly. I definitely recommend this place for sweet bakeries. The sandwiches & panini are even more amazing! You simply must stop by if you are in town.

GA French has some of the best sandwiches I've ever tasted & amazing soup. I always get the Roger Special which comes with a soup, half a sandwich, chips or cookie, and a drink. The bread is always delicious and fresh! I've recommended it to everyone who says their in the mood for sandwiches. If you do have a favorite type of bread, make sure you go early and not close to closing since once they are out or sold their breads they'll make your sandwich with a different one on hand (which is still good, just different). They are also really busy during lunch so make sure to come early to beat the lunch crowd.

Bon Journee! My hubby and I were so famished and we had missed breakfast due to an early Dr’s appt. Well I’m glad that we had missed breakfast. Thanks to this Gem, I can honestly say that my hunger was satisfied! We had missed the breakfast cutoff but the owner was so sweet and still served up a tasty croissant, egg, bacon and cheese. Also had a latte and apple juice (we were very hungry).This was the most delicious, late breakfast that I have had in a long time. Also complementary dessert

What a delight this was! I have seen this little cafe in passing several times, but could never make it in during their operating hours. I finally had the chance to try them out today and I hope to be able to come back many more times! My family is French, but as we've grown up we don't get to see each other very often. It's been a long time since I've gotten to enjoy some authentic French food that reminds me of my childhood and visiting my grandmother for weekly family dinners. I had the soup and Sandwich special, the soup du jour was tomato basil and it was delicious! The fresh baked bread on my provence sandwich was light and crispy, and the homemade pesto sauce was awesome. Even better when dipped in the soup! The fruit tart was fresh and sweet and juicy. Oliver, the owner, was extremely polite and accommodating! I took myself on a date today and I am so glad I stopped at GA French Bakery to treat myself. I'll be back! :)

Had a wonderful experience here today! Staff was extremely helpful and friendly, (especially when my son spilled his water everywhere) they were absolutely the best team of people! Most importantly, the food was amazing! Crepes were delicious, kids scarfed down the eclairs, croissant breakfast sandwiches were unbelievably good, and the cinnamon rolls were the best I have ever tasted. Next time we are in town we can't wait to come back.

Best veggie sandwich with grilled veggies and balsamic vinegar mayonnaise on your choice of homemade bread. Love the french pastries too and the blueberry cheese cake. Everything has real butter, no man made trans fats like shortening or margarine. Get dessert and sandwich trays for your next party! Quiches and meaty friands are yummy too. You can taste the love!
