After a long day on the road, what a wonderful treat to stop at the Dutch House❣️ Everything was sublime! We stopped on a Friday evening for an All-you-can-eat buffet for $10! Fried was hot and the best ever! Grilled pork chops were my hubby's fare. Sides were delicious mac n cheese, fried okra, butter beans, broccoli casserole, green beans and more! We couldn't sample it all! Oh, and I failed to mention the fresh baked yeast rolls...my heart be still. They were out of this world! Thank you, Dutch House, for providing such a delicious meal to these two tired travelers! Then we had to stop in the bakery for more rolls, cookies and cream cheese rolls to carry home. Yummy!

This was a great place to eat at many years ago. Really went down hill with quality of food. HVAC system does not work, very hot in first two rooms. Don't know what happen. Will not recommend or go back.

Stopped in to grab some lunch. The food on the bar looked old. It was so hot in the building we wouldn't have stayed to eat anyways. We did grab some is their cinnamon rolls to take with us. This was their only saving grace.

Food limited but fair. Fried chicken was excellent. Good portions. It's a "buffet" but they serve you. 1 "meat" (pot pie, pork slices, or fried chicken today...)and plate then priced on how many sides you get with it. Might try Peggies next time just nearby. Already had a recommendation for them over Dutch house. But again. Decent place.

Just left the Dutch house in Wrena Ga, this establishment used to be a great place too eat when it was owned and operated by the local Mininite community. Today I had their fried chicken ( it was very greasy) I had the fried Okra and the macaroni and cheese, both of these were also very greasy . The macaroni and cheese was literally swimming in oil. Don't know where these people are from but it's sure not southern food. ( must be Yankees )

Delicious southern cooking with quality local ingredients. This was one of my mother's favorite places to eat when traveling to and from her Glenwood, GA home town. I recently got the chance to eat there for the first time and my family and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We had country style steak and gravy, fried chicken, fried catfish, and smoked ribs. For sides, we had macaroni and cheese, broccoli casserole, sweet potato casserole, Lima beans, and collard greens. All delicious, but the Mac and cheese was my favorite!

Lots of choices in the bakety, and homemade cassrroles, main dishes for take home. Wish they were open Sunday on our way back home. Pass on the coffee. Good prices and some sugar free selections.

Just ok food, dry chicken, small portions, cold muffins, skip the broccoli casserole unless your into large undercooked chunks with cheese whiz... havent been here in years now i remember why... Go to Peggie's if you want your monies worth and better quality

Hadn't been in years but sadly it was nothing as I remembered. Grounds were ill kept with tall weeds growing through cracks in pavement, badly wilted flowers in boxes...just showed signs of neglect. I nearly thought they were no longer in business. Food on buffet was crusted over from being exposed to air and was barely warm. Trip to the restroom showed more of the same, neglect and not well maintained. A soft spot on the floor in the stall, half the size of my foot, nearly gave in.

I ate there around 7pm Saturday. I was surprised to see a place like that open. I was just going to use the restroom but then I saw the dessert cases full of sweet treats and then the hot bar with fried chicken and pork chops. I ordered up a plate at was satisfied indeed. Properly cooked and great taste. The décor was sorta boring but it was a delicious stop on the highway. So glad I stopped there and not a chain.

Not over priced, for the few that feel that way stay with the national pig trough all you can eat chains. It is not the least expensive place to eat, but the food is quality and the people who serve you are extremely kind and helpful. We meet there as a family several times a year in between holiday gatherings.

Their “coffee shop” consisted of 1 self serve carafe of terrible drip coffee and when I used a hot chocolate packet that was out beside the coffee condiments to try to make it manageable the lady said she would have to charge me for it?!? Really??

Good eats from their bakery. If you're hungry. Their resturant has great food and service. Not been here in eleven years. We ate here often while visiting my dad at VA in Augusta. Always a pleasant experience. My wife and mother loved the bakery. I held out for the catfish. Just good home cooking.

Wow.... just wow... this place is beyond great. Wish this had an above and beyond star. It is set up like a cafeteria. The food was great. I got the catfish, broccoli stuff, yams and cabbage with a slice of coconut cream pie. Wow I was stuffed. The waitress was very great. There is also a bakery attached, with all you guilty pleasures. If you are close to this place, it should be a must to stop by and just have a taste. Wow well worth it. Prices are good also. Can't say enough good things.

Catfish was moist, fresh, and more important to me, locally sourced. The atmosphere is what you would expect for an off interstate eating experience. Quaint, cozy and very attentive staff. Prices are a bit high compared to McDonald's and Taco Bell but if you want those prices, go to McDonald's or Taco Bell. For a lunch of one delicious meat with three generous sides was only $8.99, where I'm from, that's practically giving the food away. High marks, will visit again.

The atmosphere was cozy and warm. The food was very good and they were so kind. I went with several friends of mine, whom one had a birthday. They sure did surprise her with a delicious piece of their scrumptious brownie pie with vanilla ice cream. They also sang a heart felt happy birthday and had a candle for her to blow out. What a lovely place to be with friends.
