The people behind CAKE make *the* best cake I think I've ever had! They made made my wedding cake and groom's cake and we were extremely pleased. It was absolutely delicious! The almond cake is to die for, and the chocolate cakes are an absolute showstopper. We had dozens of guests tell us it was the best they'd had in their lives and we agree. The exact one was called the "gold digger" and it is covered in gold sprinkles and glitter - but deeply and sinfully fudgey. Living on leftover cake for a week after the big day had to have been one of the sweetest times of my life! We like to stop by for cupcakes whenever we are in town now so that we re-live our wedding.

They have more than cupcakes and cofee, including cold salads, sandwiches and more. Oh, they also have ice cream from Leopold's, Savannah. A bigger location closer to where the university students are would be good.

We were at a 1st Birthday party this weekend, which anyone with kids knows is a very important and special birthday. The cake was absolutely AWFUL and the service is just as bad! I left a review on their Facebook business page she blocked me from being able to comments on anything and responded to my review that I hadn't purchased a cake from them. She was right, I didn't purchase a cake BUT I did attempt to eat the cake they made! My kids, 5 & 2 didn't even like it & lets be honest... kids LOVE cake! Will NEVER recommend them to anyone!

Being a pilot I have the unique opportunity to try coffees from a varying asundry of different regions. I live in Statesboro and have had coffee from every establishment in the area. Cool Beanz is my go to establishment... Anywhere. Every time I get back home from a long rotation and sit down for a cup of coffee from Cool Beanz I am still pleasantly surprised (and slightly proud) at how great the coffee is. Cool Beanz is Oone more reason I love living in Statesboro.

I can't say enough about their great tasting french press, and I recommend them to all caffeine addicts be it the black coffee drinker or the Caramel Macchiato sipper; Cool Beanz is where it's at!!!

The best BLT in Statesboro is right here. There are delicious lunch and breakfast items for everyone, whether you are an omnivore, vegetarian, prefer savory dishes or have a strong sweet tooth. The curry chicken salad is awesome! The coffee is consistently good, and there is also a great selection of teas.

My experience that the cake bakery was awesome the employees were nice and they have great hot chocolate I would come back there any day but today was a Festival so there was a lot of people there but it was awesome because they ran a race and and the food was so good I have got a hot chocolate there in the hot chocolate had whipped cream and chocolate on top and we got six cupcakes and Oreo cake two Reese's cupcakes and one for people who doesn't like a lot of sweets will 2 for people who don't like a lot of treats but anyways I know this is long so I'm just saying my experience was awesome

I love coming to this place. It is my favorite spot to relax. The coffee at Cool Beans is great, never had problems with tasting burnt. They also have Keto options and sweeteners for the coffee. As far as Cake goes anything in the bottom of the glass case is bound to be good, it's a rotating selection of whatever was made recently and it's always fresh and delicious. I bloody love it when they make lemon bars. My one gripe are the cupcakes in the top of the case, i don't know how long they stay there but many times i've brought people there and the cupcakes they got had very hard icing and were dry inside. My latest visit saw me getting my grandma a cupcake and being very embarassed at its quality after having talked the place up. So buy from the bottom. If you see lemon bars, tarts, canolis, apple crumbles, etc- bound to be delicious

It must have been an off day the Iced coffee I've gotten many times was bitter and the cupcake was so dry. It was supposed to have a filling according to the girl who took my order but there wasn't. Usually their cupcakes are good but there were very few available that day.

Before you choose them for your bakery needs, I would scroll down the reviews so you can take note of how all the negative reviews are on their cakes! The only thing positive is their coffee and lunch! Due to Cake Bakery in Statesboro taking down my sisters photos(I uploaded the photos to the google photo page.) I decided to make my own post in which they cannot remove. Again, pictures can be referenced on the google photo page. On the left side is the cake they agreed to make and supposedly been made hundreds of times before.... Well the cake on the right is what they decided was acceptable to give to a customer. We were told it looked better in person. It didnt. Even after we all called up there wanting something to be done. They also told my sister they would put flowers on it just like the photo we used as an example. When they sent the photo of the cake, the day before the party, 1. It looked like a complete joke. 2. No flowers. They then proceeded to say they wouldnt be real flowers they would be edible ones they make. Which would have been fine. Yet they forgot to mention this to us and said flowers take 4 days to make...... A day before we were picking up the cake. Something that should have been mentioned way before the day before. The day of, they attempted to fix the cake, but in the end it looked the exact same. We ended up buying glitter and flowers and tried to make the cake look best we could. The photo on the right is not a photo we took, this is the photo they sent us to show the cake. The experience was not something I would want anyone to go through. Be wary when asking them to fufill your pinterest dreams. To me this looks like some sort of expectation vs. Reality meme I would find on pinterest. This post deserves to stay up. In a time where crazy requests for cakes is on the rise due to instagram and high expectations, people should know what their reality is.

The Cake did both my wedding and grooms cake. My wedding cake was four tiers. Each tier was a different flavor (Salted caramel, raspberry white chocolate, apple pie, and traditional wedding cake). The flavor of the wedding cake was unlike anything we had ever tasted before! It was DELICIOUS!! Every single guest had nothing but EXCELLENT things to say about the cake. (There wasn't a piece left). Not only was the taste well beyond 5 stars, but the design and look of the cake was simply gorgeous. They did a PERFECT job. It was exactly how I wanted it to look, complete with our monogrammed initials. Now, on to the grooms cake. My husband is a chocolate chip fanatic. They make the most perfect chocolate on chocolate cake with cookies crumbled on it. This was by far the best tasting sweet I have ever put into my mouth. The guests devoured the cake and wanted more. We still get compliments to this day about how good both the cakes were. The staff here is excellent and easy to deal with. Last week, my husband celebrated his birthday, my mom ordered a mini grooms cake for his party. Once again, it was nothing short of excellent. I recommend the Cake for all your sweet treat needs from cupcakes to wedding cakes.

Well I can't leave a review on FB so I'll leave one here and everywhere else since they refuse to contact me about my issue. I bought their last 6(why else would they be old) key lime cupcakes since my wife loves key lime and it was her birthday. She told me the cupcakes were dry like they had been sitting for a while. My wife can bake like there's no tomorrow so I know she knows if they're good or not. I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE. I sent you a message on Facebook and it seems you blocked me so I can't leave a review. I will be checking with other people's pages and I'll be leaving you poor reviews everywhere. Y'all really seemed like nice people although your coffee is overpriced. Trust me, I know coffee. Oh yeah, THANKS FOR RUINING A BIRTHDAY SURPRISE AND NOT FIXING IT. Very poor customer service in my book. You don't ignore complaints, you at least try to fix them.

I bought a Turtle Cheesecake Cupcake and a Mint Chocolate Chip Cupcake. I was really excited, as this bakery used to be my favorite in town. The Mint Chocolate Chip Cupcake was just a chocolate cake with green icing. It was a complete and utter disappointment. I then tried the Turtle Cheesecake one only to be disappointed once again. It was a plain chocolate cake with cream cheese icing with a sprinkle of pecans and caramel on top. There were absolutely none of the flavors the names suggested. Maybe it's time to get some bakers who can deliver the flavors those cupcakes desperately needed.

I spent over $50 on two dozen cupcakes for an event. I didn't make the cupcakes myself because I wanted them to be beautiful and the center of our food display. They were supposed to be cupcakes you would want to have a picture of to keep as a memory of this wonderful event I hostessed. I picked them up the morning of the event on my way to set up at our venue. As soon as I opened the box I was disappointed. They looked like something I could've make myself. There was nothing decorative about them, the colors weren't even right. I was embarrassed when I set up all the food and the cupcakes took away from the decor instead of adding to it. They tasted good, which was a plus but I will never use CAKE again. I can make ugly cupcakes that taste good myself for a fraction of what these cost me.

Cute little place! But this place is NOT easy to find down town. GPS gets you kind of close, but not quite. This place is built more for solo diners and very small parties (as in, 2-4 max). Don't expect them to be able to hold large parties because of the small space and lack of seating area.
