Orran and Dave have an amazing set up. Their food is great! The cupcakes are of course amazing as well. You can get small plates and meals at the Bakery, and the kitchen has windows so you can see creations in the making. They also have talent nights and Broadway hopefully sharing their talents some evenings. It's a great place in grant park for quick bites.

This is a find. The butternut squash quiche is amazing. I stumbled upon this spot and took a chance on the quiche. I found myself back at the counter three days later for more, with a friend in tow. The baked goods look decadent. They have a kale salad and a quinoa salad, both will be tried in due time. Three visits now and still loving it!!!

Excellent restaurant with a large variety of pastries to choose from! I would recommend the plum tart. Casual attire is appropriate. The staff was super helpful and very friendly.

Was feeling quite hungry today, ordered 3 eggs with chicken sausage and avocado to start. You have to try the chicken sausage. My main entree was the cauliflower gluten free pepperoni pizza. My spouse got the Hawaiian. The crust is fluffy and tasty.

The cupcakes feel small for the price but we're fairly good. The real deal breaker for me was finding a hair in my cupcake. The "side salad" with my sandwich was lettuce and dressing. I was expecting good cold brew coffee since it is a bakery/cafe but was served a can of cold brew. I wanted to like it more.

I ordered breakfast for the office from these guys - Everyone absolutely loved it! The staff is super friendly and are willing to work with you to get exactly what you want. The food was delivered on time (even in ATL morning traffic!). The whole office raved about their croissants, they were seriously incredible!! We all really enjoyed it and will be ordering again!! Give them a try!

The guys at Buteco didn't have a scone I was wanting to go with my coffee so they told me to go across the lot to Baker Dude since they'd probably have what I wanted, so I did. The guys working there were typical compared with the other business in the Beacon, friendly, attentive, appreciated the customer. The pastries and sandwiches behind the glass looked too perfect, I was thinking there's no way it could taste as good as it looked. They didn't have the iced scone I was looking for but that didn't matter since I saw some tarts that looked like they'd do the trick. It did, it was d@#n good. The crust was the same on the bottom as it was on the sides, light and flaky. The filling...awesome. I'm considering going back before they close to get another one. Well done fellas.

I ordered a red velvet cake for my husband’s birthday and they were more than accommodating to my last minute request. The cake was not overly sweet, and was the right amount of fluffiness. The owner baker just finished the cake right as I was picking it up so it was super fresh! We would definitely return for more cakes and other pastries.

Euphoria. Stopped in this morning to pickup an Uber Eats order and grabbed something for myself. Coffee and a cream cheese and strawberry croissant. Pastry was buttery with a perfect crunch to the breading. Filling was rich, creamy and not overly sweet. What an incredible delight to find this in my backyard.

I had the crustless tomato, bacon, feta and onion quiche and it was delicious! The staff was super warm and friendly. I will definitely be going back for more goodies in the future as they have gluten free and non gluten free options.

I stopped at this bakery as I happened to be in the area and was looking for gluten free baked goods. This small shop offers a small amount of savory items, traditional baked goods, and gluten free items. I got gluten free Blondies. One was M&M. The other was butterscotch. This was such a treat for a long time gluten free person. I also got the gluten free/Paleo chocolate cupcake. I liked the cake. The frosting was edible but not my favorite. Parking is easy, and the building it is in has a parking lot. The cashier working that day was super helpful and nice. Prices were comparable to other bakeries.

I've loved everything I've had from the Baker Dude, the staff is always friendly, parking is a breeze, and OMG The Cupcakes!!! I live very close to the Beacon, and I love having the Baker Dude in the neighborhood. The owner is incredibly friendly and even opened up early one day when he saw us browsing from outside the bakery. He's made sure the cafe is vocal about being welcoming of the LGBTQ+ community with the children's books they sell at the front and the community magazines they have on the racks. Every cupcake I've had makes me want to stop getting "just one." Come on, girl, you know you're gonna devour that one, just get some more. Seriously, I didn't know cupcakes could be this good. And there are gluten-free, paleo, and dairy-free options! The interior is always clean, pretty, casual, and usually calm, even with the TV playing near the ceiling. There are windows into the baking kitchen, so you can watch if you'd like. I typically just sit to wait on any pastry I've asked for as it gets heated up. Visiting the Baker Dude is always a treat, whether it's for a breakfast pastry or a dessert (and I haven't even tried their lunch menu things!). They're in the building that has the Mexican restaurant Patria Cocina and the grocery. They're inside, so you'll have to go in the building to find them, but then they're easy to get to (and so worth it!!).
