Due to health reasons, I had ordered an egg white scrambled and they said they could not complete that request. I've never had a place deny egg white. I would have understood a charge but even when I explained that, they still said no. Even worst was the attitude and aloofness they had with us after. I'm extremely disappointed with the way I was treated.

I like this place... my only comment would be that unless you are getting a Mon-Fri lunch special everything seems on the pricey side. Food is good and service at the tables is great...at the counter is normally good although last Saturday I was unlucky enough to get a very grumpy young lady.

This place has "comida casera". Its very authentic and the frijoles are bomb!! One of the few places that sells well made Colombian food in SoFl. Even the empanadas, the chicarron, el chorizo, the pan de bono's, all that quick bite stuff is also well prepared, crunchy when it needs to be and the meat never dry!

Good bakery never tried the food. The service is good also.The only issue I have is if you come in the morning when they first open, you will get baked goods from the previous day. I've had enough Colombian baked goods to know the difference between something that was made that morning or something that was made the day before. Don't get me wrong it's still good thats why they got the 4 starts but I feel kind of cheated when I get the ones from the day before.

This place offers great option on typical Colombian food. Specially empanadas if your are on the run. Chicken Milanese it's done just right, with an extensive Colombian drinks. Service its fast and quite professional. Pricing wise it's a place you can come to eat lunch every day when you have this place close to your office.

I am making this review because I had a horrible experience when I went to the restaurant on March 13,2018. On my visit to the restaurant I ordered a “Ajiaco” this is a Colombian soup. When it was brought to the table I realize it was cold. I had to ask for it to be hot. I also ordered one “Ajiaco” to go. When I got home my husband tried this one and it was so bad, he could not even drink it. Please make sure you have good quality so customers keep coming back to your restaurant. I appreciate you make changes because people could become sick by food poison.

We moved to Pembroke Pines and have tried about 4 other Colombian restaurants for breakfast and neither compared to La Pequena Colombia. We dont mind driving to Weston if we want a delicious calentado. Other places lack flavor or they use too much food coloring on the beans and rice. Keep up the good work guys! My picky kiddo always asks for more when we have breakfast here. Yumm!

Decided to try this place while in the Weston area with the family. Was not impressed at all! Waited 20 minutes for a server to take our order another 40 + minutes for our food. The only thing that was good was my daughters chicken fingers and fries. Server never came back to check on us after the food was served. An hour and a half and never got my water refilled!! And did I mention the flys? I love trying new places to eat and will not recommend this place. I gave it one star just for the chicken and fries were well seasoned and cooked.

Always busy, they do take out. A section is for their bakery and the sit down has ample enough seating. The servers are kind and always attentive. Their OJ is the best as it is home made. I recommend their soups they are stuffing and close to what you'd get from grandma!

I ordered through Postmates and had issues. Apparently they raised their prices for arepas by 40 cents and did not notify the app and they called me and gave me a hard time. It was not my problem I paid what the app told me to pay!! So the poor delivery girl had to pay the 40 cents out of pocket (which I reimbursed in tips) horrible customer service !! And the arepa was so cold it was just terrible.

Arenas were dry dry dry. Guava pastries were minus the guava. Service was lousy. First and last time for this joint. Chorizo was cut up like for a child. This type food has little competition in Weston - hence, the problem. Some Colombians will eat Colombian food over anything else, regardless of the quality.

I wish I could give 5 stars by rating only the food as food is really good but they really need to change their mind about all the plastic they spend. Even when I ask them to use only one container for the food to go they “have to” use 2 or three instead because that is “how it’s done in the kitchen”. Try to save the planet a little bit! The owner needs to train him/herself and then all the personnel to turn this into a more environmentally friendly restaurant!

This is a local favorite of mine. I normally pop in for an assortment of things. Everything that I have eaten from the menu has been amazing. You are going to like whatever it is you order, i can almost promise that. I have been here many times and the floors are always clean and keeping this establishment clean seems to be a priority to them. I have never seen the bathrooms but next time, i will take a peek and check out the cleanliness. All in all, enjoy this little slice of Colombia.

I have been coming to this place for 10 years. At least once a week. Last week I picked up food and something was missing from my order so I called to let them know. Today when I return to order the same thing and I told them what happened figuring they wouldn’t charge me for the soup that last week they didn’t give me... the manager said I was lying. I am in complete shock that this man who has seen me weekly for 10 years would do this. He was gonna charge me for the soup that they charged me last week and didn’t give me. I walked out wout the soup and asked for a refund and I will never return. I love the food and so does my family but I will not go somewhere I’m treated this way. The audacity of this man to call me a liar. It’s not the 8$ thanks to God I don’t need the money but it’s the principal. I will tell EVERYONE about this incident. I am a business owner and I would never ever treat a customer like this. I don’t care how amazing the food is I won’t go somewhere like that.

Service was ok. We ordered two bandejas tipicas, sadly it doesn't tastes a good as it looks. The rice tasted as being washed with soap, the beans had an smokey burn weird flavor and the hot sauce is more vinegar than anything else. Overall, I don't really recommend this place. I would never come back.
