My fiancée and I went to Bluejay’s for a wedding cake consult. We ended up going with a different company because they had a different flavor that Bluejays unfortunately didn’t offer, however, Justine is absolutely amazing! Her customer service is top notch and you can tell she takes pride in her business and customers. I hope to return at least once next time I’m in town. Thank you, Justine, for taking the time out of your day to meet with us and letting us try some of your amazing cupcakes!

For my 35th anniversary I requested two single tiered cakes that look like the first picture. What I received was the second picture (after cleaning up the runny mess). My friends laughed at them. They did taste good.

Walked in and the place smelled amazing. Unfortunately that was the best part. Was looking for small pastries to enjoy but everything available was stale. The cupcakes and the macaroons were very hard and possibly days old. Good thing I bought one of each to taste before spending $50+.

We wanted a German Black Forrest cake with liqueur, but we got a very bad cake with a lot of frosting with no liqueur. We offer our imported german cherry liqueur. Very expensive for the bad quality. Frosting was used instead of whipped cream, nobody ate a complete piece they took.

Was told (when I asked if there was someone who I could speak to regarding this), “Not really. Everything you need to know is on the website.” Terrible customer service. Hands down the best gluten free cupcakes I’ve had; I couldn’t even tell it was GF! The chocolate buttercream frosting was perfect. As a whole, the cupcake was not overly sweet - it really hit the sweet spot! ;)

Met with a representative at Perfect Plain during Beer Week. The pomegranate tarts (appears to be a special item; not available on the menu) were incredible! Highly recommend that these become a piece on the menu. I also bought a dog treat for my pup which had very wholesome ingredients. He appeared to enjoy the treat as he took the entire treat in his mouth to eat it.

I haven’t ordered a cake from them yet, but plan to for my son’s birthday. My review is because I emailed them to get a quote for a cake and they were very nice and helpful. I was given multiple options for size, layout and design at different price points. They even sent me a list of cake and filling flavors to chose from. I had reached out to 2 other bakeries in the area as well and the only response o got from them was a flat price with no other information. Hands down best customer service.

I go to the storefront on Palafox all the time, sometimes weekly, but no less than twice a month. Many of their baked goods remind me of Japanese style baked goods, in the sense of their pretty looks and just sweet but not overly sweet taste. Their cake pops may be way too big for my tastes, but their macarons are wonderful. Light, with a little crunch. Their tarts and little chocolates are great too! The cupcakes are very good, especially the chocolate raspberry. Compared to another bakery on Palafox, I’m happy to spend any amount of money here because the quality is just that good. And the staff has always been a pleasure.

Pensacolians! There is a new bakery downtown on Palafox Street & it is phenomenal! I'm making a shout out because I know how hard it is to make a go of it as a business owner the first year & I really want her to succeed. The owners name is Justina & I used to go to her cooking classes at Everman's and then buy her baked goods at Palafox market. Now, she finally has a store front! She is the sweetest person & the standard of excellence she keeps for her baked goods exceeds every other bakery in Pensacola. I bought these Tiramasu & Chocolate Cappuccino cupcakes for my mom's 50th birthday today! They're delicious just like everything else Justina makes. Swing by Blue Jay's Bakery & keep the best bakery in Pensacola open!!!

Best bakery in Pensacola, hands down. Always having new stuff, and everything I've had there was delicious. I always look forward to going downtown, because I always stop here for something to eat. My only complaint is a minor one, in that I wish they had more of a drink selection. But other than that, this is the best place to go for gourmet baked goods at an amazing price

Bluejay's made a lovely two-tier cake for our wedding, but it collapsed within three hours of being delivered. There was no way to salvage the cake, and we missed out on getting pictures cutting the full cake because of this mishap. We were impressed with the design but extremely disappointed that it fell before we even got to see it at the reception. Bluejay's Bakery also made four kinds of macarons for our wedding, and we are happy to say these were beautiful and tasty. They matched the macarons with our decor and theme, and that was a neat touch.

Bluejay's Bakery did a wonderful job with my wedding cake. It tasted and looked amazing!! Just as described in our emails. I was nervous about using a bakery with out tasting or visiting. I was planning from out of state and took a chance with Bluejays Bakery, and it paid off 100%. They were great with coordinating with my reception venue and delivering the cake. I could not have asked for a better experience or cake!!

Just the best chocolate chip cookies! They are more like tarts with a filling but so amazing. The white chocolate chip with lemon filling is one of the best cookies I've ever eaten. Downtown is so lucky to have such a great bake shop with original offerings.
