Cake wasn't done on time and I was 30 minutes late for my daughters birthday party BUT with that said the cake was wonderful and my daughter loved it! 5 Stars if they would've been done on time.

I tried a cinnamon bun with icing. It was made in a croissant style with lots of thin layers which was different and tasty. The overall selection of desserts didn't wow me though.

This Bakery is a quiet little jewel, on Marsh Road, between Wilson and Silverside, in N. Wilmington. The quality of their product is outstanding and they are happy to provide and spend a moment to hear your ideas on what you might be interested in. Their breads and croissants are more than what you hoped for. If you haven't found them, you're cheating yourself .

This is the sweetest bakery in town!! The pastries are excellent and the croissants are close to legendary. Where else can you go and personally place an order with the owner whose energy and enthusiasm towards providing the best service is always present?? Due to the popularity they do run out of goodies quickly so you have to come early!!

Best Carrot Cake I have ever eaten! I am so happy I found this bakery! Ever since I moved to North Wilmington I have been looking for a place like this and VIOLA! I happened to drive by and took a chance, stopped in and ordered a carrot cake to bring to a family gathering for Thanksgiving! Everyone LOVED it! It melted in your mouth! I just went back and ordered one for Christmas and picked up a Chocolate Mousse Pastry that was Simply DEVINE! The owner is extremely talented! Thank you! **********

Delicious variety of baked goods! Friendly atmosphere! Loved the fresh cupcakes and cookies. Perfect taste and texture. On top of it all I accidentally dropped two of the cupcakes on my way out and they saw it happen and came outside to give us two more cupcakes! Would definitely return and recommend again.

1st to be clear I had the highest expectations of this place based on reviews. Would've been a 4 star review if I just wondered in. I ordered a B-Day cake for my daughter & they werent sure at 1st if they could split a large cake (half chocolate half vanilla - after my wife called back they said they could. And did). The cake was a decent size but its half the cost at Wegmans for a similar size. We had it customized with a design and a Happy Bday message. Those were below expectations (writing was sloppy etc.. a few ppl mentioned maybe the cake was frozen and thawed which wouldn't help - they had a month to make it). Also the cake was a bit dry. The icing was delicious but for close to $90 I was expecting it to be the best cake I ever had. I also purchased peanut butter & chocolate chip cookies... PB was ok... CC was better. Ordered slices of their tomatoe pie type pizza and that was average as well.. a bit doughy. All this being said they were all nice.. although the girl up front seems a bit not knowing of what things are and what they can/cant do, very pleasant though. I would recommend and I'll prob. give them another try down the road! Thanks

Imad is the man made my parents cake the day of their anniversary and made an amazing cake and almost a piece of art at that he’s a great guy and work towards making his customers happy told me he wakes up at 2am to bake bread and is dedicated will definitely recommend this to everyone

I ordered my wedding cake from them. We did a tasting and made an order, i even had a picture of what we wanted the cake to look like. I emailed them the address for delivery and they texted me to confirm that the cake would be delivered but 4:30pm. They called me at 3:20 the day of my wedding because according to the person on the phone no one wrote down the address. Well when we got to the restaurant..... No cake. So i called and texted and finally got a text back with excuses and was told my cake was on the way. My cake didn't make it to the restaurant until after 6pm. We had a small wedding because my mom had died recently and it was very hard for me. By the time the cake got there some of the few guests i had were gone. When it did get there it was nothing like the picture i showed them nor did it taste like the samples we tried. They didn't seem to care at all about what was going on and never even called me. I had to text them many time's and could never get any real information. My husband and i have made two posts on there Facebook page that somehow keep getting removed. If you actually want your cake at your wedding don't get it here. They treated us horribly and don't care how sad and angry I was on my wedding day. I paid the price you quoted me for the cake and i was told to email you information by kate. No one from your business ever contacted me and your list of excuses is insulting because you never had the nerve to call me. You are unprofessional. I will be calling the better business bureau on Monday. Thanks for your rude attitude after everything. It's interesting your only responding now because you can't delete this review like you did on Facebook.

Stopped in today for the first time...they have been open for 4 months. Just lovely! Macaroons, red velvet with cream cheese icing cupcakes and chocolate cupcakes just begging to be eaten! Fresh bread as well! Dinner is looking like soup, bread and butter...thanks for opening and being in the neighborhood!!

Not all that it seems. The customers are often told they are sold out of product when in fact they never actually made the product. Orders are rarely done on time, many are often forgotten about. The owner may have started out with good intentions, but is very unprofessional and has a bad temper which is contributing to this becoming a badly run business.

I called to place an order on Wednesday. The owner told me I could pick it up on Sunday at noon. Sunday morning, the day of our party, the owner notified me that they did not have the right equipment to complete the order. Extremely disappointed that they could not give me more notice to make other arrangements. Terrible first experience.

JUST GO! Best bakery in town! The chocolate croissants are something to go for! Great multi grain bread also. They did AMAZING buttercream cupcakes for my sister's baby shower and they were raved about. I feel good supporting a small business and as a new business they are very professional. This bakery is Fantastic! They made me the most Delicious chocolate and buttercream frosting cake for my birthday! Imad takes the time to find out exactly what you want and makes sure you are happy when you pick it up. He greets everyone as they come in the door, making it a welcoming place to shop! Thank you for making me a Wonderful birthday cake and asking me how my Mom was after her surgery, it was very much appreciated!

Lemon curd crooisant is out of this world. Like pretty much everything else. Bagels could use improvement, though. Hard crust is nice, but underneath that crust , chewy, dense and slightly salty dough is missing.

This by far the most exquisite cake we've had! Our family celebrates each members birthday with their face choice of cake, many members and many cakes from many bakeries over the years! We now know we will only be using " Bread & Buttercream" exclusively!! Everyone of us was astounded by the look, flavors and components of this months cake. We chose the chocolate layered with raspberry opera cake, it surpassed our vision. Thank you great baker! For coming to Wilmington!!!

4 1/2 stars. Would be 5 if they made a true French baguette. Only place I've been able to find one around here is at Parc in Philly. Their pastries and breads, especially their croissants and brioche are divine. Imad and Kelly are very friendly and passionate about what they're doing. It's a must. So glad they've come to N.Wilmington!

I bought a few things here while visiting from out of town and everything was great. I'm always very hesitant to purchase macaroons when I'm out because they tend to be a bit costly and I worry about the freshness. Don't concern yourself with that here. I purchase macaroons and they were fantastic and worth every penny period as where the other things purchased this was a nice little Bakery to buy things that are legit pastry items that didn't get pumped out of some cheap-ass store bakery in a grocery. The staff was really friendly also and while the place was small it was cute inside.

Hands down my favorite french bread and croissants. Nowhere else makes croissants like this, all flaky with a killer apple filling. The owner and staff are great too; they put aside some apple croissants special for me on Sunday when I showed up and they were out but getting ready to bake more; I went out, did some errands, and was able to bring my wife an offering of flaky goodness at the end. Love this place.
