There is just no excuse for the experience we had with my son & daughter in law's wedding cake in June of 2017. First the cake was suppose to be white birch with flowers or some variation of that. What was delivered was a cake that looked like a pile of cow dung. The cake was supposed to be set up on the table and decorated with flowers that we supplied. However the cake was not set up it was left in the box and the person who delivered it took off. The horror of opening the box and seeing the cow dung cake. Having made some cakes in my lifetime I know it would have been easy to scrape the brown, green mess off the cake and to refrost it properly. Everyone was in complete and utter shock when they saw this ugly cake. Some guests grabbed the flowers we had and tried to hide the cake with the flowers but saw that even that was futile. After the cake was cut it was whisked out of the reception because it was just that horrible. I don't know how anyone could deliver a wedding cake that looked like this.

Used sweet rewards for my baby shower as well as our baby boy’s baptism.. I could not have gotten more complements on the baby shower cake (theme was wild animals)! Not only was it absolutely beautiful but it was one of the yummiest cakes I’ve had! For our son’s baptism I was hesitant but ordered vegan/ dairy free (my son is allergic) and was very surprised at how delicious it tasted! All of our guests kept saying they couldn’t believe it was vegan and they all LOVED it!! I was concerned a lot of flavor would be lost but on the contrary.. I was honestly a little sad everyone loved it so much because that meant less leftovers.. ha!

I had the great pleasure of working with Kelly Lindquist on my wedding cake. After a very fun afternoon of cake tasting and explaining my vision, I left quite confident she would create exactly what I was looking for. It turns out, that confidence was well deserved. Kelly took my vision and created an outright masterpiece! The cake was the talk of my wedding and I have been asked repeatedly about it even from people who didn't attend the wedding but saw pictures of it. When my now husband and I fed each other our first bite of cake, I couldn't wait to get a whole piece! It was delicious! I'm already looking forward to eating the top piece again on our anniversary. You simply cannot go wrong with choosing Kelly's Sweet Rewards for any of your special occasions. She is truly and artist and master baker and a just plain fun and wonderful person to work with.
