Incredible... this has become our family favorite, and we stop by weekly to enjoy delicious pastry’s (their chocolate chip cookies are the BEST I’ve ever had) and mystics best cup of coffee. The environment is welcoming and bright, and very clean. We love that there is outdoor seating available, and I so appreciate that it is a kid-friendly location. I can bring my little ones for a special snack without feeling out of place. The staff is wonderful as well. Extremely polite and friendly!

I don’t know how we made it out without buying at least one of everything. It all looked incredible. Happy to report that everything we did buy was absolutely delicious. The macaroons were the highlight. Give the lemon/olive oil one a try. Several other gluten-free options as well.

Variety. Their croissants are loaded with butter. The almond croissant is heading with cream. When it's sunny I will go back and sir in the shop and try one of their espressos and see if they make sour dough loaves. The town is like a movie set and everyone is polite, sweet and kind.

What an incredible spot! Super awesome pastries and too-botch undeniably eye popping coffee. My family had an overwhelming preference for the lemon and blueberry scones! Parking can be a little tricky and Sunday mornings are slammed so keep that in mind when visiting. My recommendation is grab your scones for tomorrow the afternoon before if you’re visiting the area to avoid the long lines! It is a must to visit!!

Delicious pastries except they attended the person behind me first ... literally ignored me. there were a TON of almond croissants and this white chick gives me the smallest one with no filling on top of that she also gave me the smallest cookie when there were a lot of cookies... I just assumed she was racist. My friends and I will not be coming back because of that.

I compared this croissant to Franks at Foxwoods and let me tell you that extra $1 at sift is worth it. As for the Cinnamon pecan roll I rather have a regular Cinnabon roll from the chain ( also at Foxwoods) . The brownies were eh the cookies were eh but the opera cake was good!

This is almost embarrassing to admit, but it just goes to show how much I love Sift. My friend and I hiked at Napatree in Watch Hill and ended our visit there with some cups of cappuccino from Sift. Absolutely "good to the last drop". We then headed to Mystic for some shopping. We frequented Sift AGAIN and loaded up on cookies and coffee before heading home. I am a cookie aficionado. They are the BEST!! All flavors are so satisfying. Soooo, Kudos to the friendly staff in both locations and to Adam for being such a talented baker. I know Food Network is running that competition again. It doesn't matter to me who wins this time around, because in my eyes, Adam will always wear the crown of "Best Baker in America" Lisa D

Sift cannot be described in any way unless it is a synonym of amazing! Each pastry, each drink, each sandwich is crafted with care and lights up your taste buds as if they've been struck by lightning. If you haven't been there since the remodel, words don't do it justice! You have to see it for yourself. The rooftop is beautiful. The cafe is spacious and serene. It is perfect. Sift is a must try in Mystic!

As the Pastry is very good here. The quality of service is not the greatest. Too much disposable ware being used. The line staff are not trained well and generally don't know what the product's are made from. Some of the management staff are unprofessional when dealing with staff members. It would do upper management good to monitor the staff training more closely

I live for Sift! My only complaint is my last 2 orders have been missing items /given the wrong items and I live over an hour away so it is pretty disappointing.the new way they are handling customers with the new set up isn't working like it should. Ot sure if it is the people or what but when I pay for 3- $4+ croissants, pastry, bread and a cookie along with other items and drop almost $ 50 on the entire order I would like for it to be correct without me having to take the entire order apart before leaving

It's really hard not to always order everything I want to from the ham and gruyere quiche to the macarons. Their desserts are excellent. These are the kind of bakeries you find in the cities like Chicago, NYC or San Francisco. The line was long but it moved fast. If you have a sweet tooth and still haven't been here, you should definitely go and try it.

The food, the building, the customer service. Perfect across the board. We tried an array of sandwiches and desserts and each one was perfection. My wife even got a coffee with a shot of house made vanilla syrup. Coffee was cold brew and she said it was the best shes ever had. Theres an old saying i go by: do it right and do it once. These guys expanded and did it right the first time. Hats off to the sift family. You guys have definitely set the mark and provided a perfect experience.

I'd love to post a picture of the Cheese and Guava Danish but it's all gone so here's the sign... Having heard great things about Sift from a co-worker I made the hour and a half drive down. It was worth it, downtown Mystic can be terribly congested on the weekend so park in the Mystic Museum of art lot down the street. All of the baked good and macarons are super fresh and still well stocked at 3 in the afternoon. The Cinnamon sugar ebbioche my wife got was delicious also. No matter what your tastes in baked goods are you're bound to find something here! It's worth the drive from hours away.

The inside seating area is nice and the sidewalk area is pretty good too. There's a deck that I didn't get a chance to see, but I've heard good things. The drinks and pastries are incredible and I got to try a few samples of other stuff because of the re-opening event. Though most would assume a bake shop would be primarily serving breakfast items, there's quite a variety of options to choose from. I can safely say that I will be coming here over and over for all three different meal times and I want to go back already.

This place is amazing and our new go to place in Mystic from now on. It's an incredible bakery with a restaurant inside for breakfast and lunch. We had the chicken salad and roast beef sandwiches which were one of the best sandwiches we ever had. Everything is super fresh (including the made on premises bread and cakes, cookies, brownies, fancy beautiful pastries, etc.!!) You will think you died and went to heaven when you step in and smell the delicious smells! The prices were very reasonable, and the portions huge! You order from the counter, they make it fast and bring it to you. The place is modern and clean.

This is, hands down, the best bakery I've ever had food from. We've travelled from NY just to go here and it was totally worth the 2.5 hr car ride even with a toddler in the back. I got a brownie which just melted in my mouth, a slice of opera torte which was divine and a chocolate croissant which was my favorite. The food and pastries were excellent. It's primarily a takeout location and the shop is very small. There are a few seats so plan to walk or wait. Had the bacon and egg and chive sandwich for brunch. Bought chocolate chip and oatmeal blueberry cookies for later. My CC cookie was very good. Crunchy on the edges and soft in the middle. Just the way I like them. My husband had the oatmeal and was surprised by the blueberries but said it was really good. Their croissants are huge! Choices of a variety of French macaroons, cookies, cakes, bread and sandwiches.

This was the highlight of the evening. After dinner we stopped at Sift for my wife to browse for dessert and the lady asked if I needed any assistance. I told her that I had a severe dairy allergy and did not believe she had anything for me. She responded that they had dairy free cookies and I was shocked. Purchased a chocolate chip and a ginger cookie and told her how great it was that they had a dairy free option. She then proceeded to break the last chocolate chip and threw it in for free. It was WONDERFUL and the service provided by this member of the staff was OUTSTANDING. If you are in Mystic you need to stop at Sift as it is GREAT!!!!!

I took my family out for a treat, then we were jumped in line by several people because they have no clear system for ordering, just a bunch of people yelling next up and down the line. Then they mixed up our order and we didn’t get what we ordered. Although the food looks good the service is awful and they failed to deliver a simple order and took an extremely long time. I recommend any other shop over this overpriced chaotic location. Hard pass.

There aren't many places I have visited in New England that greet me with such genuine smiles as if I've been a customer for years, or that make my morning better for having stopped by. The lattes are in fantastic flavors like Vanilla Lavender, Cardamom Honey, and my personal favorite Rosemary Ginger, and the sweets are wonderful just to gaze at. This was recommended by an acquaintance who recently moved to Mystic as a must do stop on our mini two day vacation to Mystic. Our group of 3 couples all had salads for lunch earlier in the day at another locale so we could save room for Sift’s treats. The chocolate chip, walnut, sea salt cookies just out of the oven were to die for as were the tarts and croissants. Everyone then ordered extras to go before we left. Worthy of the many five star reviews.

Went tonight to go have coffee and dessert, received the coffees and the coffee's were both cold. Asked for two new coffees the coffee's were so strong it was like chewing on a coffee bean. Dessert was very disappointing, the carrot cake tasted like it had been sitting on the shelf for four days and had that refrigerator taste. My husband ordered a chocolate croissant and it only had two small chocolate chips dead in the center no chocolate throughout. There was barely any seating in the establishment I will not go back I do not recommend it .I spent $22 on dessert and was extremely disappointed ,the diner down the street has better carrot cake . My opinion is for somebody who is supposed to be a baker of the year is really not that good of a baker . I've had better desserts at diners then I had there , the shack in Groton has better desserts.

We stopped in here in the morning of a holiday around 8am or so and the line was already almost out the door. My wife got the avacado toast which was a big thick slice of crusty bread with plenty of toppings. I got an egg sandwich and a nitro cold brew. Despite the line they had lots of staff that kept things moving right along. The space is very nice and big inside and they also have lots of outdoor spaces as well. We sat on the front patio which is small but comfortable. Friendly staff, great food, and a nice location. The perfect breakfast spot.

Very tasty (though pricey) pastries. Their homemade lemonade is good, too. I just wished they didn't use so much disposable ware and instead served the drinks in real glasses and real cutlery. Sit in the terrace and enjoy the breeze.

I knew I was craving a cookie, but didn't realize it was Sift's Chocolate Chip until I got the chance to try them! Affordable and so, so yummy! I read a review that someone didn't like them (and thought they were $4 each), and I have to say, they must not know good baked goods. Well, more for me I suppose! Thanks for being my go to, Sift!

Great place. Recently upgraded (I’m told). Pastries etc are awesome (chocolate-raspberry croissant, macarons, cakes...). Sandwiches, quiches, etc are NOT made to order. They only have whatever remains. So, look at the glass case first before waiting in line. Nice little selection of wine and drinks for the patio.

The navy brought us to Mystic in 2016. This place quickly became a favorite. Great coffee and great cookies (PB and chocolate walnut sea salt and oatmeal blueberry are my favorites!). We also love taking home loaves of their bread! Basically we like everything. I was living under some sort of rock and didn’t even know they’d become famous last year— but it’s so well-deserved. This will be one of the places we miss most when we have to leave this summer!

No thrills. I purchased a croissant and a chocolate chip cookie. Croissant was pretty good, but nothing special. Cookie was flavorless and dry. Staff was helpful and friendly, and the dining room was pretty clean. I would not return to this bakery.

My mom wanted to go ever since she saw Adam on TV. She was so shocked when I asked the girl behind the counter if she could say hello. He was busy but yet came out and talked to her for awhile and even took a picture with her. She is now on her second cookie and loves it! What a great experience for her. Judging by the way she is eating the cookies we will be back. Thanks Adam!
