Best gluten free bakery I've ever been to and I've been to many! Dee's has a great selection and she seems to always be improving her recipes. I've been coming here for several years and I've never been disappointed with anything I've purchased. My personal favorite is the cookiewich. Two giant chocolate chip cookies with vanilla deliciousness in between. If you're gluten free and looking for a bakery, this is it!

Dee’s has a great selection of baked goods and other grocery items for anyone that prefers or needs gluten-free, dairy-free or egg-free foods. When we went, there was a line almost out the door, but it was definitely worth the wait! The cupcakes are delicious!!!

The baked goods are okay. But the prices are too expensive. If you have more than one child or grandchild to buy treats for you can go to a dollar store and buy an entire box of cookies or bags of treats for a dollar.

Easily the best gluten, soy, dairy and also egg free places in New England. I wish we knew about Dee's before we got married. Our cake would have been from here. Many many items to choose from. They also have holiday menus to pre-order off of. They also support other business'. My wife and I found that the Chinese restaurant down the street offers allergy free options as well through Dee's. A friendly staff, which Dee's has, doesn't hurt either.

We ordered my sister's bridal shower cake from here because she has celiac, and they did an absolutely beautiful job! We showed them a picture of what we were thinking and it came out exactly like it. The guests raved about it and we almost ran out of cake! We would definitely order from here again. Their cupcakes are amazing! My husband loves that they have whoopie pies. It is a dedicated Gluten free bakery so there is no danger of cross contamination. They also avoid dairy and many other allergens in most of their products. They use natural colors and flavors. It is a great bakery, I highly recommend them.

Perfect place for people with allergies and food sensitivity issues. It has seriously the best sunflower butter cup substitute for a Reese fix without the headache and I love the chocolate moose squares.. My bible study group did too and they can eat regular stuff so you know it's good no matter allergies or not.

I ordered a cake for my son's birthday from this place (it was my first time there), and I have to say the cake was over priced for its quality. It was mostly as eating bread and the filling as well as the frosting on top were very dry and was getting stuck to our teeth. The main reason to go here was due to the good reviews but I personally had a very bad experience and will not be returning.

Where can I begin. First let me start by saying I am NOT vegan. After emailing 3 bakeries with vegan alternatives, Dee's was the first to respond and the ONLY to respond in a polite helpful manner. Originally I was looking for donut holes for my sons birthday in class. Now if you are a mother you understand the restrictions involved with bringing things into school. Working with me we decided on the snicker doodles and oatmeal cookies instead. The price was very fair for how many cookies I received, the cookies were delicious! (pre k approved even). And Dee's helped me every step of the way, from helping me choose the product, to getting me a list of ingredients to make sure all parents were comfortable, to taking a payment over the phone to make the transaction easier, even setting up a pick up time so I would not have to wait. I am so pleased with their helpfulness and the delicious treats!! Definitely gained a customer with me!

My kids have severe allergies and I don’t eat gluten. It is quite difficult to find decent food for all of our unique needs. When I tried a cupcake from Dee’s, I was blown away. It was unbelievably perfect. The fact that these cupcakes are allergy friendly and gluten free makes them, quite frankly, masterpieces. Another added benefit...the staff is super sweet. Love this place!

We went to a couple of bakeries that do gluten free in the area and this was head and shoulders above the other. The cinnamon buns were chewy and yummy, the blueberry doughnut, not overly sweet, but still sweet and guilty-making. Great.

I can't say enough about Dee's - We live quite far away in Hamden, CT but Thyme and Season near us carries some of their baked goods. This week I was in a crunch, needing a allergen free/Vegan birthday cake for a Five Year old's birthday party. I went to Thyme and Season because sometimes they have Dee's cakes in their cooler section, they didn't so I asked if they could get one for me. They were happy to handle everything - so the Monday before my Son's birthday party I had a cake ordered... On Tuesday, Dee's called me to ask about the cake and who it was for. Once they found out it was for a 5 year old, they asked if there was a theme. I told them no, but he loves Blaze and the Monster Machines... To my amazement I received a call Wednesday night that my cake was at Thyme and Season ready to pick up. I grabbed it this morning... I'll just let the pictures tell the story... Wow; Amazing experience. Thank you Dee's. Thank you for making my kid's day.

I've been GF/DF for 12 years here in CT and Dee's still has the best cakes and cupcakes for the allergy set. Actually, you don't need allergies to enjoy these cakes and treats. My non GF family and friends have loved every cake and cupcake I have served them! Dee is also just a fantastic human and I'm so glad that I get to support such an important local business. Having severe food allergies can feel super isolating but people like Dee make it easier.

Went to Dees for the first time last week. We bought a variety of cupcakes and they were all delicious. The customer service thou not so great. The man behind the counter wasn’t very helpful explaining their selections, even thou I told him it was my first time there. He was dry and unfriendly, made feel as if I was bothering him.

A good place to order/buy egg-less, nut free, gluten free cakes and baked food. They also customize the cakes, make vanity cakes and do themed cakes. Staff is very pleasant and friendly. The above features come at a slightly higher price point though, compared to regular bakeries.

I am vegan and they do offer vegan desserts and pastries, but I am not impress. I have gone to vegan restaurants that don't specialize in baking, and they have better sweets than this bakery. I bought a chocolate cupcake and it just tasted like sugar, not chocolate at all. I don't think that I will be coming back.

This gluten free bakery is second to none in CT. As nearly every other review has stated, they have baked goods that are amazing. And I'm sure that, like me, you're going to hate them. You see, they have this apple pie in their freezers that is available from roughly November to the end of December. Should my wife and I ever get divorced, I'm very confident it will be due to irreconcilable differences of pie eating portions, because this short supply pie is the best we've ever had. Not the best gluten free pie, the best pie. Period. The crust is peerless, the apples are spiced and cooked to perfection, and it's usually not until serving second slices for both myself and my guests that I watch their eyes widen when they realize it's gluten free. Try the apple pie should you see it, it's worth every penny. The blueberry and cherry are also nice pies, but for something truly memorable you'll want the apple.
