Andy Hemphill

The most excellent vegan restaurant ever! Enjoyed the 'Southern Plate' (southern fried cauliflower ala fried chicken) with mac-n-cheese, mashed potatoes and tomato soup. Wings with several most excellent sauces. ALL VEGAN. Fair warning- it's a very nice restaurant and so a bit pricey.

Cory Parks

Fantastic food, excellent selection and incredibly friendly staff. Would go again in a heartbeat!

Brian Connelly

Delicious, friendly, clean. Service was outstanding

CoolFatBurner

I'm not vegetarian, but this was a nice change of pace. Prices may be a tad high.

Jaime Rivera

100% Vegan. 200% Awesome. This place draws a local crowd, plan to have a short wait evenings and weekends. The most tasty vegan interpretation of some all time favorite meals. Ambience and service were super nice. Food was outstanding! Breakfast is still an option for dinner. Best Mac-n-not-cheese we have had, even better that regular Mac-n-cheese. Please contact me to buy the recipe book.

Ben Dlugiewicz

Stopped by for breakfast. Amazing plant based menu. Had the country fried seitan, gravy and amazing potatoes. Also tofu bacon? So delicious. Meal was filling. While the price was a bit high, but after the first bite, the quality demanded it.

Overall a good vibe and tasty food, but a couple downsides. We did go at a busy time, but even as it started to filter down, we got little to no check in from the server. Overall, took a long time to receive drinks, get orders in, etc. Also please be forewarned- I got a side of the mac n cheese (not sure if it is the same as the full size, but seems like it would be), and it tasted like straight up coconut. Our sammies were yummy, as were the drinks. If I lived in the area, I would try again at a less busy time, for sure.

Taylor Hurt

Words cannot express how happy we were to eat at a 100% vegan restaurant. The Brie with fig jam stole the show without a doubt, and the menu was massive

Nicholas Wolf

As a meat eater I was blown away by this place. Not because everything "tasted like meat", but more because the flavors and the experience for just really really enjoyable. The ambiance is a bit like your inside a wooden ship, and there's plenty of flavorful stuff on the menu for anyone to enjoy. The Cuban sandwich I had I'd honestly take over a typical Cuban with meat. out of all the things we try the cheesecake was really the only thing that I fell un-satisfied with. Looking forward to going back one of my top 10 restaurants, vegan or not.

Linda Hemphill

Amazing vegan food. I had the Southern plate with mashed potatoes, fried cauliflower, kale salad. We also had the fried cauliflower appetizer with several sauces. It was all excellent!

Timothy Thompson

Such a great place to go for vego and vegan food

Tim Vargo

It's been a long time since I've been here. At the time of writing this review I had just started a new diet that had me keeping track of my calories... So yeah I was the guy with a lot of questions about a lot of the items on the menu. I really wish I can remember my server's name, because he was so nice and accommodating. I ended up with a seared tofu sandwich and a side Caesar salad, and it was great. All in all, it's a good place if you're looking for a vegetarian/vegan alternative to mix up perhaps your normal routine.

terrell daniels

I'm not vegan at all but it's a real chill spot and what I ate was good. Lowkey spot with good vibes for sure. Service was good and friendly. I'll be back.

Juan Bell

First time eating a vegan meal, was not disappointed at all! The food not only came out quick but to say it was delicious would be an understatement. The gentleman who served us was the bartender, he was very friendly and funny. Nachos are a must for the app, definitely recommend sharing unless you can down it all. I ordered the Cuban which was unique take on the sandwich, the shaved seitan seasoned well and had an amazing smoky flavor as mentioned in the menu. We finished our stop with the Sunday which left us fully satisfied. Overall experience was great and would highly recommend this place to anyone who is in the mood to try something new or enjoys vegan food!

Anadia Rockey

+ incredibly tasty food even for non vegans + friendly staff + interesting atmosphere - very loud

Julia Ennis

This place is so so good! One MAJOR problem- they cook with canola oil!! Most people who are vegan are health conscious and know better then to eat poison. Hope they switch to a food quality oil soon!!

Melanie

The best all vegan restaurant, hands down. This is the place to visit if you are looking for amazing vegan food. Love this restaurant, the feel, the people, the art, the love. So many good things to say, but most importantly go and try it yourself! Watercourse will forever have a place in my heart. Delicious, hearty, skillfully crafted, and ahhhhmazzziiinnggg! There’s nothing I’ve tried that I wasn’t floored with- so many surprising things every time we visit! <3 <3

Inga Berryman

I visited this place twice during my 5 day stay in Denver. The French toast (with berries and whip cream) is so damn delicious. It's soft , warm and so scrumptious!! Definitely worth a try! #LocalGuides #vegan

Kyla Imwalle

Great food and options. Staff was friendly and made sure we didn't have any allergies. I think it was worth it for the price. I had breakfast and a bloody Mary. It was a great time!

Matthew Steinbeiss

Get the seitan wings, they are addictive. Totally vegan menu with great drinks. I've never had a meal I didn't love. The vegan brie is ridiculously good as well, I really couldn't tell that it wasn't dairy cheese.

Joel Behnke

It has great food and great staff. Definitely recommend the nachos as an appetizer and the French toast is a great brunch. The jam they have as a side spread there is to die for!

Crudely Spoken

The food was delicious. The services was very friendly. I bought a second entree for dinner. Yup. That good.

Jen K

Hands down my fave vegan spot in Denver. Love the neighborhood. The restaurant is clean and modern but always feels comfortable. Delicious, creative, clean cuisine and a fantastic happy hour. Watercourse is a great place to introduce friends and family to the vegan lifestyle. Great breakfast specials and coffee. My favorite meals include the Southern Plate, the BBQ pulled jackfruit sandwich and the gnocchi. Best is the vegan Ho Ho for dessert. Super yum.

Sabrina Yang

Great service from Trevor and food was pretty good. Had the classic burger with fries and the Cuban with a Caesar salad. I don't recommend adding the tofu bacon to the burger.. it gives too much texture. But the patty itself had good flavor and the pickles for the Cuban seemed homemade and really good!

Dan

The tempeh sandwich was incredibly salty. Service and atmosphere were fine.

Maddie Rounds

My boyfriend and I got takeout over the weekend and it was amazing. I haven't had any version of country fried steak in over a decade and the big rig was the best reintroduction I could have hoped for. I'll definitely be ordering from there again.

Ron Olson

Great food, great people, but noise level way to high.

Ashley Wilson

Recently, I had the Jackfruit BBQ sandwich here and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was, Afterwards, I finished off my meal with a cup of coffee, which was absolutely terrible. This was one of the worst coffees I have ever had. Upon asking what coffee they use, I think they said Huckleberry. If you go here, DO NOT order the coffee. The food is good but the coffee is awful. If you have good food, you should at least have good coffee.

M

So happy to have Vegan options. Great food, friendly staff!

Chris Prudhomme

Good vegan food, but the new owners took some of the awsomeness away from the menu. An example, Banana bread french toast is a risk for a restaurant. They have to make the bread ahead of time and then hope that it gets ordered before it gets stale. The menu has been streamlined for what appears to be made to order items. They are still good, but the creativity and the very essence that made me highly recommend watercourse to even non-vegan/vegetarians is gone.

Annabelle Abbadessa

I stopped in there during lunch a couple weeks ago and was able to sit at the bar. The bartender was very attentive and fun! I really enjoyed the Ceasar salad with tofu. A must if you are a vegan visiting Denver!

Kiera Brewer

During my visit to Denver this past weekend, my partner and I had eaten at a couple of other plant based restaurants but this one right here TOOK THE CAKE. I mean, none of the other places came close to being as delicious as this one right here! I wish I had vegan food this awesome from where I'm from! ♥️ Highly recommended!

Ingrid Grygiel

Love this place. Have been coming here for years and it never disappoints vegans and non-vegans alike!

William Edwards

Best vegan restaurant in Denver. Best cauliflower wings I've ever had. Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is nice and comfortable. The staff is always incredibly friendly, helpful and overall very pleasant. Great location easy to locate. Always bring my friends from out of town (even if they eat meat).

Rosemma Adams

This restaurant is amazing, but somewhat hit or miss, with the vast majority being HIT. 1. The southern fried chicken cauliflower: promise me you'll order it but ASK FOR RANCH instead of whatever boring sauce it comes with. I cannot recommend against the mac n cheese enough. It tastes like coconut milk and it is just sweet and kind of runny and almost gross. And there is so much of it, the portion feels just off. It is a waste. The kale salad is superb. This dish really, really needs to come on menu with ranch. 2. The Irish Coffee is the best Irish coffee experience ever. It is so extra the way it is served with a scoop of amazing vanilla ice cream that creates the perfect foam when dunked in your coffee. I was in love. 3. The cheesecake is SO BLAND, so extremely bland, I would totally recommend ordering the cheesecake but without the actual cheesecake. Everything that comes with the cheesecake is SO SO SO GOOD - like a rum caramel cinnamon sauce with flambéed bananas and the ice cream was all almost so good I could have cried. The cheesecake was superfluous and a huge letdown in how plain and wet it was. See what I mean? Hit or miss. Service was decent. Ambience was exactly what you would expect for a vegan restaurant in Denver.

Meryl Rhoum

I come to watercourse at least twice a week! Always because of the service !! Justin at the bar is the best! Makes awesome drinks and has the greatest outfits! Definitely recommend this place !!

Prahlad Kilambi

Vegan heaven. Only way to experience southern food for a non-meat eater. What a brilliant variety of dishes. The Gnocchi is outstanding. Casual, relaxing atmosphere.....Denver is lucky to have this place. Wish California had something like this.

Alex Hand

Amazing Vegan place. Great place to introduce non-vegans to the wide variety of foods and flavors that are out there without meat. The Seitan wings are exceptional. Ordered: Seitan Wings & Fried Cauliflower

Felix Rivers

This spot is Super fire, happy hour is pretty legit, the drinks are on point and I highly recommend this joint to anyone passing by

Nar Trippel

Loved the cinnamon roll and their all day breakfast. Got the benedict and it was buttery and delicious, even after the cinnamon roll. Great quality vegan food, cozy atmosphere.

Joseph Richards

Food is all vegan and delicious! Entrees are a bit heavy (think southern fried kitchen) and large but they were great as leftovers for breakfast! Also the drinks, yum, especially the virgin options

Michael Gayle

Excellent food and service. Visited with a large group. All the orders were correct and timely. What this place does with vegetables is amazing. Great experience.

Matthew Alvarez

Absolutely incredible vegan restaurant in Denver. This was my first stop on this recent trip. I ate here twice in a few days being in town. The food is so delicious. I wanted to compliment the chef personally for such an incredible food experience. If you're vegan or looking to try new things, Watercourse Foods is definitely the place to go!

Brandon Poulliot

Never did I think vegan food could be so tasty! I've had both brunch and dinner here and loved both. Tons of options from a chicken-fried steak alternative to a Cuban sandwich, you won't be bored and neither will your taste buds. This place gets packed so come early or be prepared to wait, but I promise the food is worth it!

Anh Kato

Our go to place for vegan when we want to dine out. I recommend pretty much anything at this place. Will never be disappointed.

Wyoni Estrada

Amazing first vegan experience! Trev was awesome and super attentive and polite. I never thought vegan food could be so tasty. And HUGE portions! Bloody Mary was amazing. The atmosphere was so relaxed. Good vibes everywhere. Thanks Watercourse for changing our perspective on vegan food!

Rebecca Beyer

Visited Denver for the weekend and loved this vegan restaurant! We had grilled carrots, a Cuban sandwich, and seitan ribs. Oh, and a chocolate-peanut butter milkshake. Everything was delicious and they had many more menu items I wanted to try!

agebomb83

I am not vegan/veggie only and this was still an enjoyable spot. I actually was amazed and entranced by the idea of cauliflower buffalo wings and they kind of won me over which surprised me. I want to learn how to make them at home for myself! For me, this was a sampling a of lifestyle that I dont subscribe to but it was still done well. The service was great and friendly and for what it was, I could see why it was a popular place for the no meat squad. I appreciated its selection and tasty treats.

Jessica Waldmann

The food is really good and staff super nice!

Courtney DeAnda

If you’re vegan, maybe you’ll like it...for me it was not good. Food came out cold and I was going to send it back but it didn’t taste good to me, so it wasn’t worth it. Very bland.

Soren Pearson

Great environment, and selection of wholesome food options. Excellent service as well. The food tasted amazing. I got the chai shake and it was very good. All the food is vegan. I highly recommend and will be back soon.

Micah Roth

Trevor was our server and he was excellent! Watercourse is the exact kind of restaurant we love to eat at. Portion sizes were more than generous for everything we ordered, which included the nachos, cauliflower wings (buffalo and orange), and we split the classic burger with mozzarella, portabellas and green chili added plus a chocolate/peanutbutter shake. Would absolutely eat again and again if we lived in the area. Compares favorably to the best vegan restaurants we've eaten at in LA and Boston. A stronger focus on organic ingredients would be welcome, as would be smaller portions, and the orange chicken was overly sweet for my tastes, but on balance this was the best meal we've had in weeks while traveling across the US! Keep it up Watercourse, and more power to you!

Paul Gray

Love this place.! Service, food and the ambiance is totally fantastic. Freshly cooked food and taste is awesome. The staff is fantastic and work well with customers.

Rick Glenn

Great service. Great ambience. I had the “shareable” milkshake for $10. It was pretty small to be shared between any number of people greater than one.

Amelia Akers

Amazing! All vegan restaurant with so many fabulous options! My partner had a seitan Ruben and I had the southern plate which was fried cauliflower, mashed potatoes and gravy (or you can get Mac and cheese) and a Kale salad with crispy garbanzo beans. Music is a little loud and I could not even hear the waiter but it was overall a heat experience.

Lindsey Cole

Our vegetarian/vegan family has been to Watercourse many times. The food is hit and miss. We've had some of our favorite meals there and some of our worst as well. For instance, tonight my son's pancakes and my fries were overcooked, but my husband was practically licking his plate (he loved his breakfast sandwich). I liked my buffalo tempeh sandwich and we had a delicious strawberries and creme shake. My other child loved the kid's tacos. The atmosphere is very loud. The attempts at sound dampening just aren't enough. The diners are eclectic and diverse and everyone is made to feel welcome. The service is usually pretty good, but generally the food takes a while to come out of the kitchen. The service has been pretty bad in the past and it does seems to be improving overall.

Courtney Carnevale

Sit with Phil at the coffee bar- amazing service. The gnocchi is out of this world, too.

Cobra CAO

Great food, nice atmosphere, wonderful wait staff.

Helena Gallegos

Excellent happy hour and very good food. Not as crowded as city o city but equally creative and well executed food.

Ajit Vyas

A must-visit in Denver for healthy and/or vegan food. Great location, super friendly stuff, and most importantly, amazing food. We had the breakfast burrito, french toast, and a single of French press and left fully satisfied!

Sky B

Even if you don't consider yourself a vegan I HIGHLY recommend the food. It is definitely some of the best vegan food I have ever had. The atmosphere and soft lighting provides quite an enjoyable place to have a meal and some wine. I will be coming back and bringing friends with me!

Aldo Philhower

Lovely surprise on a random from in. Very quite . Food was amazing . Great personal service . The scalop starter ...the melt in your mouth Himalayan lamb... We loved it.

Chris Diaz

Watercourse is my second favorite restaurant. The ambiance of the place is awesome. There's a lot of tables both in and outside for one to dine. The staff is great and the food is amazing!

Kat Paluzzi

I can NOT say enough about this place!!! I did try to get in to city o city (sister store) but the wait was super long... but had that not happened I would not have tried this one! SUPER OUTSTANDING!!!!

Kimberly Diaz

Great vegan gluten-free restaurant service is always incredible in the servers are very knowledgeable

Florence L

I am not a vegan but my husband is. Never been a fan of vegan fare until I stepped into this restaurant. My street tacos are out-of-this-world and his southwestern dish was excellent too. I want to go back for the gnocci. Portions are huge, prices very fair, and staff very friendly. I could definitely become a vegan if I ate there everyday!

Susy Frantz

Wow! everything was perfect from beginning to end. Wonderful customer service , got drinks and food super fast and everything tasted amazing. Highly recommend this place, I’ll go back again soon :) You guys exceeded my expectations! Awesome EVERYTHING!

Maddy Wolfe

This place is phenomenal. The service made me feel so welcomed. The cortado was a perfect balance. I ordered the Benedict and the breakfast sandwich. BOTH AMAZING! The Benedict is crazy realistic and the flavors are very bold, yet unique. Highly recommend it. The sandwich reminded me of my childhood. All in all, I will be back!!

William Crowe

Watercourse is the kind of place you take people who eat meat a lot to shock them about how delicious vegan food can be. I love the ambiance and all of the food I tried. As a southerner, I consistently get the Southern, and it is delicious. The fried cauliflower is spot on with the seasoning and everything. The chickpea tahini salad steals the show. I would say the Mac and cheese is decent, but it really isn't nearly as good as the rest.

Lisa Thomas

Food is delicious! No matter what you order you will be pleased. My Lavender Lemonade was so refreshing on a hot day.

Ben Pasquarosa

I am personally not a Vegan, so I only stopped in on the request of one of my friends. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, but most importantly the food was outstanding. I had the opportunity to sample several of their dishes and all of them were delicious. This is certainly a spot to check out regardless if you are a Vegan or not.

Rodrico Sanchez

This food was so great. HUGE portions. A couple could easily share one. Plastic free and great service. Can't wait to share with more people.

Shannon Bockstahler

The breakfast was amazing! Their french toast and cinnamon roll was to die for, and I'm not vegan. I kept saying "how are these vegan and so good!?" Definitely check out this place if you're vegan or interested in trying amazing vegan food.

joshua coats

Pfff, I've eaten vegan food all over the nation, and this place stands up with the best of the best, just go, and order stuff, and be merry.

Jōjia _Momo

Easily the best place in Denver! I was skeptical as a southerner of the "southern plate"... It blew me away, amazing flavor! The wings and Mac & Cheese are also amazing. Great service! Thanks for being vegan!

Patrick Crisler

Excellent food and excellent service. They do brunch on Saturday too.

Lola Heffernan

This food was delicious and we really enjoyed the lively atmosphere. The portions were far bigger than we anticipated and the two of us didn't even come close to finishing 1 app & 2 entrees. Just something to note when you order :) I was particularly impressed by the range of the menu.

Shun E

This restaurant is ok, but definitely not anything to write home about! Also, why does the vegan cheese sauce for the nachos taste like coconut......SO DISGUSTING!! With the prices being like they are, you all could find a better cheese sauce that doesn't take like coconut!! There are literally no good restaurants in the Denver/Aurora area!

Lawrence Lee

Watercourse never disappoints! Friendly and quick service. Crafty but flavorful vegan dishes. If there is one complaint is that their soda, drinks, juices are a but pricey. I guess for the craftiness they charge a higher rate. Nonetheless, my small complaint is not a factor to stray away from them. Because they are probably my most liked vegan restaurant to go to when in Denver.

James Miskiewicz

Watercourse is amazing. Best vegan food in Denver, which is saying a lot - we have lots of options. If I am in the area looking for dinner I have trouble picking other places, I just keep coming here!

Madi Jeno

Best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. Happy to be going soon since I’m from out of state!

Katelyn Osborne

I live down the street and came for dessert frequently, but I won't be anymore after last nights episode from a clearly need to be fired employee Gabby. With disrespectful treatment like this I'd rather spend my money elsewhere than deal with such ill-trained staff and no management.

Spencer Essey

Fantastic as always. I've been going to Watercourse since back in the day when City O was still Watercourse and it really seems like the service has finally improved.

Taylor Prothro

Best vegan restaurant in Denver. All the food is so delicious and makes you forget there's no meat or animal protein in any dish. The service is always great, and the food and cocktails are consistent and always great tasting. I would love for more of these to pop up around Denver.

Kristina Douglas

I used to really like this place and made it a point to visit every time I was in Colorado. But favorite menu options that they had they no longer do. The cauliflower with the orange glaze was amazing and they don't have the orange glaze anymore. I decided to try it with BBQ then and it was way too much BBQ sauce. The only thing I'll really go back for is the shakes now and just skip the food.

Brandi Moore

Yum...yum....yum...and 100% vegan menu! Pineapple mimosa! AH-MAZING! And Kelly was an excellent server!

Ryan Werner

My girlfriend took me here for her birthday. I was a little concerned because in my experience vegan food is either hit or miss. THIS IS A HIT! I had the tacos and I could eat them every day

Trina Michelle Hernandez

First vegan place I've ever been to its actually delicious.

Jennifer Butler

Excellent, excellent, excellent food. Great atmosphere, friendly and fast service. Every plate my family had was perfect! I honestly can't wait to go back!

Chris Veeyo

Great atmosphere, even better food! You won't be disappointed!

Mattie Owens

Brought our family of 5 here after reading the awesome reviews— upon arriving, I realized it is totally vegan. We proceeded as planned— and my carnivorous family LOvED it! French toast and nachos were our favorite. Save room for the milkshakes. Our server, Amy couldn’t have been more patient and encouraging with our hesitant 5 year old. Recommend to all- vegan and carnivores

Andrew Garcia

If you want amazing Vegan and vegetarian food, this is the place for you. Seitan buffalo wings are fantastic, Cuban sandwich will make you believe you are eating the real thing.

Nick G

5 years ago if you offered me a vegan Cuban sandwich I'd have thought you were mad at me about something and trying to get revenge... But this place has changed the game for me. I love coming here and seeing what crazy meatless concoctions these people come up with that sometimes taste even better than their non-vegan restaurant counterparts..

Niki Launspach

The food and drinks are delicious. Everything being vegan is an amazing bonus! Great cauliflower "wings"!

Marci Gower

Let me start with I’m not a Vegan and Watercourse is primarily a Vegan restaurant. That in no way puts me off from any restaurant as I do not eat meat, pork or fish so I can generally find just about anything on a Vegan menu to please me. The situation I have at Watercourse is I am allergic to maple, which seems to be a staple ingredient in a great deal of their menu options, limiting my choices, especially on their breakfast menu. That said, celebrating a friend’s birthday this week we opted for dinner instead and I was pleasantly surprised by the gnocchi in a sweet potato purée. It was beyond delicious and cooked to perfection. The waiter was kind enough to check there was no maple involved in the prep too! Most of our party had the Street Taco’s and enjoyed them. As for dessert, the group ordered a few Bananas Foster’s and the jury was split. I can’t weigh in as I didn’t taste it. I did imbibe in a margarita which was made just the way I like it. All in, a satisfying evening. I’d add the fifth star for more breakfast choices sans maple. It means I literally can’t join my friends here unless all I want to eat is fruit (which I’ve done).

Andrew S

Food is absolutely phenomenal - ordered pickup and they even put all the sauces in containers on the sides. Everything tasted amazing... from the cauliflower wings, to the burger, to the Big Rig. Don't sleep on this place!

Catherine Hurst

Great place. Outstanding food and great service. I had the gnocchi and it was delicious. Generous portions. I'm not vegan and neither is my husband and we both found something delicious to eat. Dont let that stop you from going. You'll be so happy you did!

Gina A

Too bad Watercourse did not earn more stars because I was really looking forward to dining here. First, the hostess behind the counter did not seem to greet my family and me in a friendly manner. No smile or welcoming demeanor. It was about 8pm this night and although I understand they are tired, customers should be greeted with kindness. I had a 10 pound service animal puppy carefully swaddled on my person who had graduated puppy school and always accompanies me. However , Claudia another worker there had informed us that although we had requested outdoor seating, my well-mannered and registered service puppy needed to be tied up on the pole not touching the patio. Also , away from the patio meant too close to a busy street. The manner in which they treated another living being and the disregard about his welfare was appalling as well as Claudia asking me personal questions about my health. I had his registered service animal ID with me but at that point I had no desire to give this place my business. We actually found another restaurant down the street that had such yummy food and so many choices and this other restaurant had greeted us warmly and we sat outside with my family and my 10 pound furry friend who sat in my lap the entire time and didn’t make a sound. Watercourse needs to train their staff on the importance of service animals and not disregard them or be unkind to them. Humans are not the only species and as Ghandi had said The greatness of a nation can be judged by how its animals are treated.

desiree Adams

Best vegan food I have ever eaten!!!! Very well thought out flavor combination. The gnocchi I had also was gluten free and you wouldn't ever know...I definitely will be back. This is vegan food you will always crave over and over again. Also staff was super friendly and quick.

Luz Rosario

Service could have been better. We went on a Saturday morning around 8am. There weren't that many people there. Our host sat us and brought us water. We sat for 20 minutes and saw the host bring in a total of 7more people at 4 different tables and ALL of them were taken care of first. I had to get up and ask for a waiter because we've been ready and waiting. Only to find out the breakfast i wanted could not be ordered until 2pm because they were only serving brunch items ! At 8am !!! Other than that, the place was clean and roomy.

dan curl

Probably the best vegan place I've eaten in any state or country. The buffalo wings are great, also the jambalaya ish entree

Vinodthan Nayagar

I’m giving this place a 5 star because if the stellar service, great food and excellent Kombucha (on tap). I have been here twice and it good was incredible and really tasty. Also, definitely try the macro on latte.

Madison Freeze

Watercourse was excellent! I had the cauliflower nachos and the gnocchi. Both were amazing and filling. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone even if you are not specifically looking for vegan food!

Jaye Mills

Yummy food choice of Vegan chicken an waffles. My son and I enjoyed our Mother's Day together a week after. I have enjoyed everything each time that I've ordered.

Vegan Buffalo Cauliflower $5 Happy Hour Best Staff

Holly Snell

Good food, fast service, nice people

david stewart

Really delicious food, good variety, wonderful service, all served up in a cozy atmosphere, and open late to. You don’t have to be vegan to like this one. You have to give this one a try!

mathew beck

Really good and creative vegan food! The cauliflower buffalo wings are excellent! I had the eggs Benedict, they were very much like the real thing!

jevon lewis

I'm sorry but I hated it so bad... The cauliflower buffaloes and salad are the only things worth eating.

Elvis Colucci

This place was so good, we came here twice during our stay at nearby Warwick Hotel. A very busy place that doesn't take reservations for two but space is generally available at the bar so our wait wasn't too long. Portions are generous, well prepared and above all tasty. Their hamburger is very filling as was the farfalle alfredo. Service was attentive without being 'chummy'. The beer list is surprisingly short considering that Denver is a craft beer town. it is a noisy locale. Very good value for one's dining dollar.

Catherine Rooney

Vegan comfort food. This a was tasty but heavy meal that stuck with me. We had the buffalo cauliflower appetizer which was generously coated in the sauce and served with vegan ranch and some veggies. My burger was made from Seitan and resembled the taste of beef. I prefer veggie burgers made with beans and veggies, so I don’t think I would try Seitan again for its odd meat like flavor. However, I imagine some would really enjoy it. Overall, the service was friendly and the atmosphere was lively and cozy.

N. Filippi

This is the best vegan restaurant I've ever been to. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was fresh, flavorful, and unique. The drinks were creative and delicious. I loved walking into a restaurant and being able to order anything on the menu.

N A

Awesome place. Sharing the vegan vibe. Food quality has gone down in the last year that's the only reason for a 4 star. Justin, one of their bartenders makes the trip with it every time. Check this place out when in Denver!

Katelyn Phillips

The Gnocchi is amazing. If you have to order one item here make sure its this dish. I wish the beer menu was not as expensive or they had more reasonably priced beer selections. will be back for the food. Our server was also very informative and friendly!

Erica Clayton

This place is ridiculous - HUGE portions, excellent drinks, friendly staff, and charming interior. It came highly recommended to me by friends as THE vegan place to go while visiting Denver. They were not joking. I had the cauliflower wings and Cuban sandwich and I’ll be dreaming about them for days. My friend had the nachos and the cheese was something else... not like any other vegan cheese I’ve ever had. I look forward to recommending this place again and stopping by if I’m in town!

Prianca Thirumalai

Vegans, get ready to get your minds blown. A pretty exciting and recipe-inspiring place to be for those thinking cruelty-free.

John Tarancon

Me and my wife were visiting Denver and wanted to try a "new" vegan place. We found this one and went. We went during brunch hours and tried the loaded burrito and the big rig. That was probably the best burrito I've ever eaten!

Nicole Ferguson

One of THE BEST vegan food restaurants in the US! Cannot wait to visit Denver again and enjoy all of the amazing unique vegan food they offer.

Fern Crossway

My favorite restaurant in Denver. Watercourse is 100% vegan, and there are a variety of options on the menu without it seeming too overwhelming. Breakfast is served all day and they offer a kids menu for children under 12. I highly recommend trying the baked brie -I would visit for this appetizer alone. For entrees, the brussels sprout salad is a delicious, healthy option and features pomegranate, maple dijon, balsamic reduction, candied walnuts and vegan gorgonzola. Or, try the street tacos or mac 'n' cheese. Bonus - they have a great drink selection including kombucha, sparkling water with choice of local DRAM bitters, coffee and espresso drinks, tea, cocktails, beer, and wine. If you are planning on visiting for a weekend dinner, I'd strongly recommend making reservations in advance. Also, be sure to arrive early during busy hours in order to find nearby street parking.

Amazing food! Their benedict and big rig was so filling and good that even my meat eater friend loved it!! Good job!

I’m not vegan or have dietary needs, but I came to this place for a friend who does. The place is very accommodating with dietary needs, and the service was great. Just not “my cup of tea.” Aside from the tofu bacon on this sandwich, it wasn’t that bad, But the potatoes were undercooked.

africa armendariz

Service was very slow. We received some of our drinks after our food. Never received one drink. Food was good but I wouldn't go back.

Heather Bednarz

Another one of our favorite spots! The Big Rig is my go to for that vegan country fried steak! (French toast pictured in the other photo) But EVERYTHING is delicious and the staff are always WONDERFUL! Highly recommend! (:

Great space, a little loud in my opinion but nothing that would stop me from going back. We tried the coffee, scrambled tofu, the hash, and pancakes and all were delicious. There staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and on top of things. Our first time at a vegan restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised and are excited to go back and try more things!

Love this place. Was better the first time we went. Their seitan wasn't that flavourful, too dry and bland. But overall, the food choices are nice. Could improve on the taste and flavor.

Juanita Bing

Great food and a great atmosphere. The bar staff is awesome and the drink are out of this world

Leonardo Granados

First time there and loved it. Best food ever. Great atmosphere. Excellent service. The wait time is worth it. All vegan

Vittoria Iannelli-Allen

Had amazing gnocchi with butternut squash. The food is all high quality and delicious, the staff was really friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend for vegans and non vegans.

Mikey Wheeler

Holy guacamole! This place is amazing. Finally a vegan restaurant that isn't all salads and nasty, bland, renditions of popular dishes. They do an amazing job of making the food taste great while staying compliant to their values. Will definitely be back again.

Scott Knox

Great vegan restaurant. Be prepared to wait between 30-45 minutes, as it is a pretty popular place to eat. Everything on the menu is plant based and they have a great happy hour menu. Had the "Cuban" sandwich and it was pretty good, tasted pretty close to the real deal, also the southern fried cauliflower is pretty tasty as well. Lots of choices for both food and drinks, give it a try and it will easily become one of your favorites places to grab a bite to eat.

The food needs SALT and SEASONING. It’s not bad, it’s just not great tbh. I ordered the Brussels sprouts salad and it said it had crispy Brussels sprouts but everything was raw and there was more kale than anything. I’ve ordered different things in the past and they weren’t bad, just bland. I recommend checking out other vegan/vegetarian places in Denver especially for this price.

Such a fantastic place! I went there on my way through to the airport and had a wonderful seitan Cuban sandwich. The staff was very welcoming and helpful, as we had a small cold with us. Would definitely go again!

Kezia Euodia

The food here is so good we went here a couple of tines during our travel. The buffalo tempeh sandwich and skillet hash was so good. And the soft serve was so creamy, it was fantastic.

Jake Mink

Great vegan food and super friendly staff

Amazing food. The ambiance of the restaurant is spot on for my tastes. Reclaimed wood and Edison bulbs: Check! We went on a Sunday night with a party of 4 and didn't have any trouble grabbing a table. The menu is great. Breakfast all day, with both vegan egg(tofu) choices as well as standards like pancakes and waffles. We went for dinner, and we're not disappointed. My wife and I are vegan and loved the food. The other couple we went with are not vegan, and they still loved the food. That's how good it is. On top of that they have an excellent drink program (both alcohol and non alcohol drinks). One word of warning, the portions are huge!! We ordered nachos and seitan wings and there were more than enough for 4 people. Highly recommend!!!

Kaleb Mooneyham

Ive been going here for years. Its a great spot for vegans and carnists alike. Want to surprise a "non believer" ? Take them here. Show them how vegans get down.

Evan Linger

Classic vegan spot. Great food and big portions. A must visit for any vegan on their way through Denver. I visit most times I come through and I am never disappointed with the food.

Charles Craichy

The BBQ Wings, Cuban and Peanut butter chocolate shake were all the excellent. The Cuban is a bit heavy. The shake was probably the best of all. A must try. The fries that I ordered with the sandwich didn't blow me away. I'll just get some other side next time. But Giulio was great! Good and filling portions! Thanks, y'all!

April Blundell

Amazing menu, and delicious food! Can't go wrong here. Atmosphere is on point. I recommend making reservations because there is not an empty seat, and yes, people are willing to wait 30+ minutes for seating.

Jason

Breakfast at Watercourse, is amazing. The atmosphere is hip and casual. A great people watch location. The portions are hardy. The service is friendly and professional. All of the food is delicious, even for the non vegan platte. You'll leave stuffed, relaxed, and very satisfied.

Michael Rogovin

Go with your vegan and carnivore friends. Outstanding cuisine and the absolute best service -- staff is extremely friendly and helpful; the kitchen is amazingly fast. How they make baked brie vegan and so good is astounding. The desserts are decadent. They are very attuned to allergies and dietary restrictions

Michael Thomas

Good place for s vegan breakfast!& Matcha latte

Anastasia Flanegin

Had an awesome experience and food was so good. I am not a vegan but I enjoyed several things on the menu! Very yummy. Customer service was exceptional and the setting of the restaurant is very minimalistic and relaxing. Will be going back for more!

Shelby Perrin

Lots of delicious vegan options. The menu also lists GF and nut free options and servers ask if you have any allergies. Tried the ribs, biscuits and gravy, and the Big Rig all was delicious.

Makayla Denise

All I can say is I can't believe it's vegan. The vibe in the restaurant is chill and laid back. There is a bar, regular seating, and seating outside. All of the servers and staff are very nice and personable. Andrew my server was great. He checked on me regularly and brought me anything that I needed. And the food.... OH the food was insane. The Cuban sandwich was meaty and delicious. The seitan wings could pass for me any day. Third time trying a vegan and restaurant and I still have yet to be let down! Love it here will be back

Larry Berglind

My son and daughter in-law wanted us to enjoy their new find. We enjoyed the atmosphere. It was Happy Hour and my wife ordered a glass of house wine, and they didn't have it so was given a glass and we were surprise that a small pour was $10.00. Ordered the Gnocchi, and when our order came to the table, I thought she had ordered it as a side. The plate it was served on was a normal size dinner plate and the entree took up a 1/4 of the plate. That is a very small portion for a $15.00 ticket. It was also cold. Anyway, just wanted to let someone know of our first experience. I guess if a restaurant is downtown Denver, the price sky is the limit.

Tory Orozco

I don't frequent vegan restaurants often but all my friends hyped up Watercourse and I just left so disappointed. The service was beyond mediocre and my food was messed up not once, but twice. I appreciated them asking about allergies but then they brought my food absolutely covered in jalapenos, which I specifically said I was very allergic to. In my opinion the food was the least bit impressive. My friends used to be regulars, but after burnt tempeh, wrong orders and sad service, none of us will be back. Save your money

Jonathan Polak

This would be 5 Stars in 1995. Their dishes are carb heavy, lots of sugar, definitely not healthy vegan.

LaurenNicole

Best vegan restaurant I have ever eaten at! Huge menu with tons of options. My husband and I couldn't believe how realistic the poached egg and country fried steak was. Plus they give you good portions so you won't leave still hungry. We live in Colorado springs but we cant wait to come back!

Jennie Massey

Fantastic innovative food with nice servers The chili chicken was fantastic as was the chicken biryani.

Adam Jimenez

Gourmet vegan eats in a relaxing modern environment. Friendly staff, prompt service.

carl bushnell

The food is reallllllly good. The brie is the best! Service is quick and friendly. You may have to wait for a table; it is very popular.

Justin Brown

Delicious Food, Great Atmosphere cool people! What more could you want?!

I have always heard about Watercourse from a few friends and my mother. I have a severe gluten allergy so I was really excited to go to breakfast with my mom and a family friend as they have so many gluten free options. It’s hard to find good gluten free food. We had the buffalo cauliflower wings which were INCREDIBLE! The flavor, texture and portions were perfect. It was hard to believe it was gluten free! We ordered our entrees, I ordered the “egg” Benedict with gluten free bread. The server was very kind and asked if I had an allergy, I stated that I did in fact have an allergy and he said he would notify the kitchen and even offered to change gloves and utensils. When our order arrived everything looked, smelled and more importantly tasted delicious. I did however become a little weary when I had eaten half of the “egg” Benedict, and caught the server when he came to refill our drinks.. I asked half jokingly “this tastes way too good to be gluten free?! I’m surprised” to which he responded “oh no.. I’m so sorry but by looking at the dish I can tell you that they got orders mixed up and that in fact is not the gluten free bread.” He then offered to have it taken off the bill which I absolutely appreciate and I realize that the mix up was not his fault at all, but the damage was already done. I had an important shoot later that day and I stay away from gluten because of my allergy (causes extreme and painful bloating, painful cramping) so it was just a huge bummer for my first time. I was really excited to try Watercourse and I don’t know if I will be back only because I don’t want another gluten mix up and I’m not sure I can trust it.

Wonderful vegan food. The manager here is wonderful, I order frequently through door dash and had a mix up with an order. The manager was polite and friendly, while trying to help me understand what went wrong with the order. She even went the extra mile to try and make it right. We love this place and will be long time customers

Iriam Cristiane Damas

It was an amazing experience. I loved all their menu. Everything is vegan (plant based). The environment is happy and the people very carefully. It was the most nice place I went in Denver (for food in general, because the non vegetarian people that were with me loved too). I super recommend.

Julie McLeod

Great and creative food and drinks. Can get busy and have a wait. Not good for groups of more than four, I would say, as they don't seem to have tables larger than that. Such a thrill to get to eat a variety of vegetarian items.

Josh Davis

Service was great. Knowledgeable staff. First time vegan meal.. Wasnt my last
