If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is the most unfriendly place in Aspen. I came to visit Aspen with my family for the weekend and wanted ice cream. First, the cashier told me I could not have any samples until I made a purchase. How was I suppose to choose a flavor if I have never been here before? As my family and I sampled the variety of ice creams we were forced to move down the line. We got very mean look as in ‘what’s their problem?’. The customer behind me in the line asked the employee if she could use another spoon because she was allergic to pistachios. The I couldn’t help to over the obnoxious employee MOCK the elderly lady under her breathe to the other employee. Another employee helping with me the sampling constantly ignored and kept yelling ‘is anyone here actually ready’ as he looked down on my family and I. We were embarrassed and we shouldn’t have been. We did not get to choose the ice cream we wanted because they employees told the customers behind us to move down, forcing us out the door. We did not end up liking the flavors we got.

There was a very friendly staff. The inside of the shop is small and probably can have 20 people inside at a time but it has great outdoor seating nearby.

If I could give this zero stars I would. The tortillas on the breakfast burritos are always hard, and when you take your first bites the food is hot and then the middle is ice cold. I believe that it means the burrito is being microwaved.. I don’t think that’s cool at all considering that it’s like $9 for a microwaved cold and hard burrito... Really really sad..

The staff was really sweet and the pastries that we bought were delicious! The lady waiting on us even gave me a piece of there wonderful carrot cake for free because she said I made her laugh that day! Very sweet people oh and the hot chocolate my husband said its the best he has ever had!

Tasty cookies, ice cream, coffee, and more! During the summer, you can hear live music by the AMFS students most days/evenings, and it's a popular gathering spot year round.

This is an excellent place to get your baked goods or have breakfast or lunch, or even get sandwiches for a good hike. I come in here each time I visit the area, and the food is always good, the service fine and friendly, and the prices reasonable. Be prepared to wait on summer mornings, because this place is not a secret. Locals and tourists alike keep these people working hard. It's worth any little wait you might have.

Almost a "must visit" place in Aspen. The best gelato that you can get in town. Plenty of flavors to choose from, and it is really delicious. Also a great bakery. An ideal place to have a dessert.

Worth the calories. There are so many bakeries around the US. Most sell the same things. Cookies, pastries, coffee ice cream. Paradise bakery has been open for as long as I can remember. Located at the same corner in downtown Aspen. Their cookies are simply fantastic. The recipe has been the same for years and are the only pastors worth the calories. Get there early and avoid long lines. Open rain snow or shine. Enjoy!!

The place was packed and had a line to the door. We took that as a good sign. The staff moved the line very quickly while still being cheerful and funny. The ice cream we got was very very good and came with a warm chocolate chip cookie on top. I would recommend this place to anyone. Parking is reasonably easy to find within a couple blocks.

Best muffins in town! Every time I come to town I make sure to stop here before going to our condo and grab a blueberry muffin for the next morning and an ice cream cone to enjoy whilst watching the sun set in the nearby park. Sometimes this popular place can get crowded with the limited space they have but do not fret because the freshly baked goods, iced coffee and chocolate sweets are worth the wait!

A bit pricey, but quite reasonable for the Aspen area. You get what you pay for, which is great coffee in my experience. I had a very tasty iced mocha that wasnt sickly sweet and had good coffee flavors that weren't hiding behind great chocolate notes. I will return to this nice little place when I'm in the area again!

If you're looking for a great place to work that will help you grow as a person and as an employee, work here. I started at Paradise when I was 16, zero workplace communication skills, zero customer service skills, and zero professional experience. In the four years I worked there, management taught me more than any other job has ever taught me. They encouraged me to continue to work hard and go for promotions. They made me a supervisor after 2 years and taught me about running a business. I'm about to graduate college with a business degree and I still mention my at paradise at every job interview and in every class. Their staff is typically teenagers and that's cause paradise helps prepare teenagers for working in the real world. Seriously, if you have a kid at AHS have them work here, it's one of the best things you can do for them! P.S. cappuccino toffee crunch is still the best gelato flavor on the planet!

No bread. No cakes. No pies. Merely pastries, and very few of those. Why is this place called a bakery? I have a bigger display area on my counter at home. Also, no place to sit. No accommodation for customers at all. Adorn needs a good bakery but this is just an ice cream stand.

Came in on a Sunday afternoon with a big group of family to enjoy this well rated bakery, when it was our turn to order we were told in order to sample any ice cream we had to pay for it first even if we didn’t know what we wanted. We agreed to this and when it came to sampling ice cream we are limited to sampling 2 only and were told to move the line along, constantly being asked “does anyone know what they want” with horrible looks given and sense of annoyance in their voice. Everyone was forced to make a rash decision as it seemed we were being kicked out the door. The way we were treated was really unfair, everyone else got smiles while my colored family was treated with much disrespect. The staff was really disrespectful as they mocked their customers when any special requests were made. It was a real disappointment.

Good cookies but the kids working the shop were too busy chatting to get the orders right. I ordered 2 cookies and 2 scoops of ice cream. 1 cookie was replaced with a muffin and 1 scoop of ice cream was wrong. Was able to get the cookie fixed, but what can you do about already scooped ice cream? Parking is limited and expensive.

Mmmmmm... so good. I've been here several times and everything is delicious. If you don't know what to get, there is often a platter of samples to point you in a direction. Pretty standard coffee shop fair, but with a large selection of baked goods and an ice cream case. The benches out front are also a good way to enjoy your beverage or snack and people watch.

As a European that's used to having bakeries like this on almost every corner, this place was a great sight. Coffee is OK, the ice cream is meh, but the freshly baked pastries and the like are excellent. Can be crowded at times, especially in the morning, but the staff is quite good and keep the line moving quickly.

We tried the mini cups on hot july afternoon. It was one scoop with a small cookie on top. Flavors tried Mango, coffee caramel crunch, vanilla, chocolate and pistachio. Everything was so creamy and fresh. Taste was so good that we went the second time!. This place is very small kind of crowded but the line moves fast. No seating inside, you will find some chairs outside in the city center.

Hot day in Aspen calls for something cold. My little one ate an entire small cup on her own! This is amazing since she typically only eats about 3 bites and is disinterested. Thank you for making such a delicious treat!
