Here you will be able to see the feddbacks of real people who consumed the products and services of Northside Kitchen (Bakery) in Colorado.
Nowadays the firm has a rating of 4.4 out of 5 and that rating has been calculated on 879 reviews.
As you can see the average score it has is high, and it is founded on a very large number of feddbacks, so we may be pretty sure that the valuation is quite reliable. If people have bothered to value when they've done well with the service, it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to give feddbacks when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Bakery corresponds to the category of Breakfast restaurant.
I ordered my steak medium to medium-well then added, I like it to be pink but not red...(just to clarify). I received a piece of meat so thoroughly charred that I could hardly eat any of it. I showed our server this and he was apologetic. I happened to be away from the table when the check came and later found out that we were charged for that meal!! My husband was far too kind. I can’t believe that this shoe leather was put on our bill!!! Seriously?? I was starving! I hadn’t eaten all day! I ordered the tuna app, which was delicious- but I couldn’t eat the wontons for dietary restrictions ... when we got back to the hotel I ate protein bars for dinner. I can’t believe we were charged for that steak! Not happy!
We walked into a pleasant atmosphere and friendly service for my husbands birthday. Our server Brent gave the best descriptions of all the entrees and he was very courteous. I ordered prime rib, garlic buttered mashed potatoes and asparagus and my hubby had Lobster shrimp risotto. The prime rib literally fell apart and melted in my mouth. The asparagus was perfectly seasoned and tasty. The mashed potatoes was a perfect blend. My hubby Lobster and Shrimp risotto with butter sauce was amazing. Perfectly seasoned, I would definitely recommend Northside Kitchen to the world. It was truly an incredible experience!
My husband found this great establishment during our stay at Beaver Creek. The staff and owner were very personable. I have food allergies and they were very accommodating. The food was absolutely wonderful at a great price point. The semi-outdoor dining had a magnificent view of the mountains. We will definitely be eating there again while in town.
Ate here for breakfast. Very good food, attentive, very friendly staff. Great place!
We had dinner at Northside Kitchen in Avon, Colorado @7:15 on 12/28/18. They were very busy. We have been repeat customers and we’re most unhappy as they gave us a very small table scrunched in by a doorway, with a table for 6 that sat down beside us after we were served our appetizer. First of all the waiter, don’t remember his name but he was bald, never asked us if wanted anything to drink. Our appetizer was promptly brought to our table by another server. Everytime the inconsiderate waiter or server went to serve the 6 top, they had to bump into me to get by to serve that table. Our meals were served by another server. My husband ordered trout which had a sicky sweet sauce which he didn’t like and I ordered halibut, while nicely presented on plate, it was dry and tasteless. Our waiter never asked how our dinner was. My husband finally flagged our waiter down to ask for a coke, which he forgot, and we had to ask again he finally brought it to us with the bill. We had ordered a 3 course meal (appetizer, entree and dessert). We had to flag him down again to ask about dessert. He was a rude space case. We would never go back again
I have dined numerous times at the restaurant, usually ordering a filet. Absolutely outstanding.Last night I ordered trout. I was so disappointed. The fish was way over cooked. It was very dry and tasteless.
I do enjoy here. Not the cheapest but they serve very large portions.
Pavalici pizza was amazing! This was the best pizza I've ever had. The crust is different, the sauce is different and the meat is chunky.
Do yourself a favor and get the chicken fried filet, experience a transcendent state and top it off with one of their doughnuts...boom.
Great tasting food and excellent Wine selection
Great place, get some donuts! All breakfast dishes we got were great.
This place has the best pancakes! We came back a second time. My egg breakfast was also excellent.
Always a great choice for dinner! Fine dining style but quirky, casual and unpretentious. The Lamb Shank never disappoints.
The food was yummy and Steve the general manager came to out table to say hello and wish us well
I had the cobb salad. It is not on the menu anymore but they still made it for me. It was outstanding.
Excellent service with delicious meals, and a great bakery.
This place was recommended to us by two different people, so of course, I googled it to check it out. The reviews and personal recommendations won me over and I made the reservation. And boy are we happy we went! We enjoyed the most delicious dinner, with the most elegant ambiance, and the best service in Colorado. They offer a 3 course option for $39 which INCLUDES an appetizer, entree and dessert! I had the wild beet salad, the wild caught salmon, and the tiramisu for $39!! And every bite was perfect! Did I mention the wine list? How about a $10 glass or $40 bottle. To me, these were the best prices in the area. I cannot recommend this place highly enough! This is a top quality restaurant, we will be back!
Very good. Let's hope the tourists don't find out. Local hangout
This place ROCKS! Caymus' cabernet for $16 a glass, what a deal. The filet mignon was cooked to medium rare perfection. for breakfast with this glass of wine was AWESOME! My wife had the breakfast burrito smothered and it was huge and delicious.
Good service. Food was not really served hot, sorta warm. Pastries are not terribly fresh, good variety of sweet breakfast pastries.
Food was delicious and service was great!
Basic greasy spoon. Don't order the grapefruit juice. It's mildly grapefruit flavored sugar water.
Friendly service, huge portions, and especially good donuts
The new pizza side is awesome! The pizza happy hour makes my family very happy!
Service was fantastic, food was spectacular, and the wait staff made you feel at home. I got a free croissant thing that was really good. Thank you to everyone there!
The food is not good and overpriced. We ordered eggs benedict with hash browns, scrambled eggs and pancakes. Everything tasted so greasy and super salty using some cheap margarine. Eggs benedict were underdone and swimming in the sauce
Excellent food and service, great presentation.
Food was good and awesome ambiance.
This place used to be fast and reasonable, with excellent food. Speed and quality have dropped significantly over the past couple of years, while price has jumped. It's not bad but I'll no longer recommend it.
Fresh chocolate croissants and donuts. Friendly service. We stopped here at 6 am before getting on the road back to Denver and were pleasantly surprised
Went there for dinner, their seafood was equivalent to that of a 5 star restaurant...we were then told their specialty was breakfast...so we stopped back the next morning. Servings are ENORMOUS...the quality of the food, the level of service was outstanding from start to finish. Highly recommend this lovely establishment!
We stopped in after a long drive and it happened to be Happy Hour. Both food and drinks were excellent and well-priced. We have now been back for both lunch and dinner in just the few days we have been in town. Everything we have ordered has been delicious. Friendly staff and great service!
Outstanding breakfasts, lunch and white table cloth dinners. Highly recommend
Make a reservation. Excellent service and great food!
Food was mediocre. Atmosphere was great.
Best breakfast in Avon. The burritos are excellent. Service was very good. Be sure to get a doughnut. They are excellent.
We had 6 adults and a baby. Natasha did a great job of taking care of us in a completely full restaurant. The food was excellent.
Fabulous food and exceptional service from Eric the Manager and team !!! HIGHLY recommend if you can get in !!!
Good egg whites breakfast variety. Yummy bakery items
Amazing food. Great place for brunch!
Pretty crowded but for good reason. Excellent food and service, and quite reasonable.
Stopped in for breakfast, and it was pretty good. I had blueberry pancakes. They were a bit dry on the edges and a little too gooey in the center, but they tasted good. They don't give enough syrup, though. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained.
Great place to eat great service
Nice place to eat if traveling!
Top notch breakfast burritos. Donuts look good too, but I never need one after the breakfast burrito.
This was the best food I had the whole time in Avon, CO. The service was excellent and there atmosphere was great. I'll go back here for sure. The bakery was awesome. Thank you again for great food and great service.
This is one of my favorite restaurants to eat at for dinner in Avon/Edwards....and they just opened a pizza place next door which is beyond wonderful!! You must eat at both places....they are amazing. Pizza place even offers gluten-free and cauliflower crust; probably some of the best pizza I've had in a while.
I had chicken salad ,I love it Sincerely Erik Stahl (Singer /Actor)
Most excellent, whether breakfast, a fine dinner, fresh bakery goods, or just a pizza. Really good food here, generous portions, personable service, and a baker from whom I'd really like to get some recipes. Best pizza dough in the valley IMHO. A special place that will bring you back. Owner JP is often there and worth meeting. Oh, and after 2 or 3 the doughnuts go half-price.
Delicious breakfast! The biscuits and gravy were amazing and my wife really enjoyed the huevos rancheros.
Great Delicious Donuts... but the staff seemed a bit worn out. Not sure if we walked into a bad day for them or if customer service training is needed. We actually sat down and after menus being thrown on table w/server walking off, we decided to do carry out in which the cashier had challenges as well
Good deal. Good food. Ate at bar, couple if appetizers and a main course. Would do it again. Arrived just before prime dining. Started getting crowded. Three or four tables too many but it is prime ski season so pack them in or loose revenue. Worth the trip.
Food was outstanding. Great service too.
If I'm to rate this restaurant for just the food: at least 4 stars. The food was great! Unfortunately however, the service was far from impressive. They offer some pastries up front, so when my wife and I stopped in we got one, but we were immediately seated before I could pay for it individually like they seem to want (was able to just ask for it to be added to our breakfast check later). The space was clean and nice and inviting, but somehow we were seated at an unclean table. So a little careless. The check wasn't brought out in a very timely fashion so we sat for a good while before we could pay for our meal. Ultimately, I wouldn't say not to give the place a chance, I'd just be aware that the customer service and communication between teams is quite lacking.
Excellent spot for breakfast or lunch! They also have an incredibly delicious bakery with all types of donuts!
Stop here every time I can for breakfast I enjoy it every time. I will say the last time the filet burrito seemed like it was not up to the excellent standards i have previously enjoyed here.
Great donuts, happy hour and dinner.
Super cute little breakfast place. Nothing was particularly remarkably delicious but cozy and fun!
Great food and service. Wonderful atmosphere, definitely a great place to start or finish your day. Love
Recommended by locals for their fresh bakery and bread but we've really enjoyed their breakfast and lunch, too. We will for sure go back!
Menu lacking std breakfast items
Amazing food and great service! It was a great way to spend our last night of vacation!
Parking lot was jam packed. I really wish they had like a “I just want to pick up some donuts and go” parking spaces...because we literally had to wait for a spot. The donuts were pretty good! At first the person behind the counter didn’t think they had jelly donuts and then he found them... Idk the food was great but the area/restaurant was crowded and really hectic.
Had the prime rib on May 12th and about 6 hours 8 hours after dinner I woke up in the middle of the night throwing up and sweating back and forth cold and I'm pretty sure is from the food so if you had the prime rib on the same day and experience the same thing just please leave review I get it was on special but I've had way better prime rib at Boston Market that didn't get me sick I bet it was probably sitting there for the last 6 months ago and they just had to get rid of it
Great Place . GREAT FOOD. , FRIENDLY Atmosphere, Neighborhood Feel , Superb Management Staff, Owner is people person who is sensitive to the Customers needs, desires, and satisfaction. Staff goes above and beyond to ensure a one of a kind dining experience .Food is Fresh Fresh Fresh.....A must Try.....Definitely worth your time and money, a Culinary Delight!
We ate here for dinner. Refreshing change from all the other places we had eaten in the area. The prices were very reasonable and the food was really good. Good service too. Not real fancy, but a nice place.
We went to this place for breakfast two days in a row on our honeymoon. It was very good. The biscuits and gravy we’re a little weird but still very tasty. Not what you would see on menu in Texas as biscuits & gravy. This gravy had a bit more of a spice to it; a kick....maybe even a little cheesiness?? Like I said prior, it was weird, but it was still really good! And the donuts were delicious! This place was well worth the price and had no wait at all for a table during the week. I’ve given them four stars, because everything else was good, but their pancakes really suck! I mean seriously, they’re horrible....my 12 year old could’ve made better pancakes than that. Tasted like flour and water was the complete batter revipe. Overall, I would go back again, just don’t order the pancakes. I shouldn’t even say pancakes (plural), because I ordered pancakes and got ONE flat boring tasteless pancake.
A must visit restaurant when in Eagle County. Great breakfast and lunch, have yet to try dinner. Great donuts too!
Big breakfast I got is good!
Great breakfast and massive portions! The staff was friendly and attentive.
Service great. Food just okay.
Lovely casual space for breakfast before hitting the slopes! Fantastic donuts!
Excellent food. Nice diner atmosphere with huge portions. Highly recommend
We were visiting from Atlanta and was happy to find this place on the way back to the airport. Great food and fantastic staff...very friendly and professional. 4.5 star kitchen with a 3 star price!
Ricardo is best server. Get him if you can.
Stopped here on our trek out to CA... delicious! Very friendly staff, great service. Definitely recommend stopping here for breakfast. They really know how to make great poached eggs! The huevos rancheros were probably the favorite for our group.
Great staff & fine fine
Amazing restaurant with excellent service and exquisite food. I visited Vail in March and we loved this place so much we had dinner here the entire week in a row. I've got to try their filet mignon, lamb, salmon, halibut, burrata, tuna tartare among others. Everything was amazing. They have great wine, I recommend the house Cabernet. Their prices may seem high but they are very reasonable for what you get. I also had a chance to visit this place for lunch and be aware it is a completely different experience from the night but it was also very good (had an amazing burger). Will definitely visit again whenever I am in Vail again.
Picked up the yokel breakfast to go. Food was great and the atmosphere was that of a diner. I did miss the fresh baked goods delivery so I didn't get the opportunity to try any doughnuts but the ones that were on display looked quite tasty.
Good prime rib. Cooked as ordered.
Bit pricey but the burgers are worth it.
Well...this was not a great experience. The donut case is beautiful and they look delicious; we didn't try them. When we were being seated there was plenty of room in the dining room, but the hostess tried to seat us at a very small two-top less than one foot from another family (seriously). When requested she politely seated us elsewhere. We each ordered the Yokel breakfast with our eggs over medium (and verified with the server they could cook them that way) and our toast dark and dry. Homemade patty sausage was recommended. My friend had coffee. The eggs arrived completely runny, the "toast" was lightly toasted, on one side. It was reported to be baked in house, but certainly did not look or taste like anything special. The homemade sausage was not my favorite. My friend's coffee was weak and not hot. Certainly not a $12 (or $15 with coffee) breakfast. Wish we'd gone to Starbucks.
Loved this place, went several times while staying in Beaver Creek. Went for late breakfast and then for dinner as well. The food is really good, 3 of us had prime rib for dinner and was great!! Caesar salad to start was very good as well. The breakfast hash was awesome too. In addition to really good food, they have excellent selection of wines by the glass all properly sealed and maintained in wine dispenser cases including Silver Oak by the glass! Good draft beer choices as well.
This place it absolutely amazing. Great food great staff. Leo, our bartender was astonishing. Jim the owner was very friendly as well. He cane over and chatted with us for a few minutes. Would recommended this place anyone passing through.
Get the croissant sandwich but substitute bacon for the ham it's super good and will be having you wanting another!
Great food and solid service. The 3 course meal deal is really great especially with the quality and variety. The wine list was impressive too.
Fast and friendly service even on a busy holiday weekend, and even accommodated our larger party of 8. The chicken fried steak was the best I've ever had.
Excellent as usual. We love the food and the people are great.
Decent spot for Breakfast. Had their breakfast burrito, which is good, but very dry unless it's smothered in their green chili sauce, which costs extra. Cute view of the mountains if you get seated by the windows. They make a lot of different styles of donuts as well, which seemed to be pretty popular for people purchasing them on their way out after their meals.
Excellent breakfast. Fast and courteous service. REAL bacon! Ricardo, our server, has the best table side manners I've experienced in a long time! Make sure you ask about the Tshirt!
So glad we stopped here for breakfast on our way out of town this morning. As we walked up, it looked like there was a long wait, but it was actually just people in line to get donuts. The place was still packed but we quickly got a table. We sat down and shared the biscuits and gravy and they were awesome! Good price. Quick and professional service. And amazing food! Go here if you have a chance. I'll be back!
Great service and food! It is one of favorites stops for breakfast and dinner when we come into town every summer!
Great breakfast with huge portions.
Food and service were great and not over priced.
Had a very large and scrumptious breakfast burrito smothered in green chili. The green chili really made the dish so I asked for more and our server brought out a bowl. Yay! Had to track him down to get and pay the bill though.
Great spot!!! Happy hour was amazing. Food was incredible. Staff was super fun. Coming back.
Chicken fried steak is phenomenal ! Food is next level! They accommodated for my keto diet!
The food is fine, but nothing special. The atmosphere is corporate, IMHO. Service was courteous, if not completely efficient. Nobody - neither employees nor customers - seemed to smile, ever. Note: we were there for breakfast, in the off-season. Maybe the story is different during more popular times and/or dates.
Wow. Wonderful food in a really cute dining area.
Horrible service. Server, daytime manager, one in the same was very rude. Order was incorrect twice! Waited 45 minutes for it was served cold and incorrect. Never was corrected after the second attempt we decided that was enough. We had to ask about our food. The server/manager said she was very busy earlier and acted like we bothered her with the incorrect order. She also tried to give us someone else's food from the table next to us. When we asked to speak to someone we were already there for over an hour and she smirked and said shes the daytime manager as if I attempted at rectifying the poor service and sitting there for 45 minutes without even silverware to stir the coffee didnt matter. If you can go somewhere else please do. Even the daytime manager doesnt care about their service. Sad because this place came highly recommended from friends here last year. Thinking it may be a new person managing the place. Stay clear if you want to enjoy a good meal without the attitude. Thanks for reading.
I think it was the owner that went to each table and checked to see if everyone’s food was well done and good he was quick to fix anything. Food was a great portion.
Excellent breakfast! Super reasonable prices compared to those on the mountain. Well worth the commute to here for any meal. I had the pancakes the first day and the food was so good we went back the following day for breakfast and I got the French toast. Highly recommend this dinner. Also the donuts are great too
Great atmosphere, good food and good location, right off of I-70 in avon. It can get packed around lunch hour and weekends but it is worth the wait. It has fresh donuts every day.
Excellent service but the food is just ok.
I had had the blueberry pancakes and a breakfast sandwich and this was a big meal I look forward to visiting this place again Simone was a pleasant waitress at the bar that was very attentive and made sure that I was always taken care of. I will sure return again.
Staff so nice food amazing.
Great donuts and staff, the other food is good also. This is the go to place for breakfast and lunch in Avon. The locals recommended the Northside Kitchen for their dinners, but i did not have time to try their dinner. Normally I would give 5 stars for their service but they suffer from a single issue, the restaurant doesn't have enough tables or a waiting area to adequately hold their many customers.
Had the biscuits and gravy with eggs over easy. The gravy was the perfect consistency, not too thick, not too thin. Perfect amount of spice and the right amount of sausage. The biscuit was toasted on the flat top which gave it a nice char flavor that some may not like, but I enjoyed very much. I would stop here for breakfast everytime I drove 70.
Awesome place. I’ve only been for breakfast and or doughnuts but the lunch and dinner menus look promising and the wine here is top notch. The lamb hash for breakfast is spectacular as are all the doughnuts.
We stopped in for breakfast, the first day after our arrival in Avon. The staff were not very friendly or inviting. We felt hurried to order and eat. Lastly, the food was less than mediocre. Portions were large but taste was lacking any true flavor. Prices were a bit high, but on par for the area.
Great Menu, breakfast, lunch & dinner are fantastic! Also doing pizza that is absolutely great!!
Stopped for breakfast. Very good. Even had gluten free bread for my wife.
The new best pizza place in the Vail valley
Great chilled water. Forks were shiney.
Very disappointed! Waitress was rude from start to finish. Turkey BLT was super sad looking, the bread alone was just a sliver of bread on top and even smaller on the bottom, couldnt even hold as a sandwich, Fries were mostly burnt. Wouldnt suggest this place.
I love this place. Great donuts. Get there early for freshness and selection. If you're cheap you can get leftovers late in the day for half price (currently after 3pm). Lots of other good breakfast options. Also transforms into nicer restaurant at night with excellent food at reasonable prices (for Beaver Creek, at least).
The food and service were excellent. The restaurant has 3 different sections. A very casual area, a bar area with TVs playing sport shows and a more romantic side. The food was excellent. My salmon was grilled to perfection. And when we left they offered us free donuts. What more could anyone wish for.
Excellent restaurant, excellent service! Don't be turned away by the diner look of the exterior! This is a white linen tablecloth restaurant. Don't miss their filet mignon! It cuts with a butter knife! The short rib gnocchi was ok. Meat was super tender and flavorful. The gnocchi was missing something and the texture was off.
IMO: the Benedict is the best thing on the breakfast menu... Top notch hollindase
Food is delicious. I had the biscuits and gravy. At first I thought I was going to have to order two servings to satisfy my appetite. I was wrong. That food was so good and filling. The place was packed when we sat down. The staff was running all over the place, but it looked as if they are all having fun and enjoying their work. The price was reasonable, and they got the food out to us very quickly. I just wish I had a big enough appetite to try all of those doughnuts!
Wonderful food and great service!
Great service good food
Great menu and specials. Brent our server was very attentive.
Food was amazing and the service was top notch..I had the best scrambled eggs and blueberrie pancakes I've had since I can remember..The waitress really was attentive and never made me ask twice for a thing.
Nice restaurant in Avon. Had very decent Huevos Ranchero. Good Cappucino. The Donuts are good as well.
Delicious, classic country diner. Fresh food with quality ingredients, like filet mignon breakfast burritos and sirloin chicken fried steak. We were able to get a table for 6 at 10 AM on a Sunday with little trouble. Friendly and courteous wait staff. Food averages about $13 a plate. Lots of vegetarian and even gluten free options.
Fantastic food, coffee, bakery items and service. Will come back for sure.
Chicken Fried Steak was about the best I have had! Good service, friendly, great food.
Loved the food, and such a cute location! Hope to come back!
Amazing DONUTS. REALLY good food too!
Food and service were outstanding. Gnocchi was really good, filet mignon egg rolls were really good, even the kids cheeseburger was good. We also enjoyed dessert (salted caramel truffle). Brent, our waiter, was friendly and did a great job serving. Two others during our dinner also stopped by to ask how things were. Definitely worth the short drive away from the resort area.
Always had great food and cronuts!
The staff are friendly, the food is fantastic, and it's usually not too long of a wait for seating or service.
Excellent!!!! We come here everytime we are in the area. Excellent staff, great food for breakfast & dinner!
Great spot for breakfast and lunch with a surprising transformation to a great dinner place with a totally different look and feel. Grab some doughnuts while you’re there, they’re incredible and you can’t go wrong.
Food, atmosphere, and price were all fantastic.
Solid food and friendly staff, can get quite busy and noisy. Be sure to pick up a cronut for the road, or even better buy one get one free later in the day!
Great breakfast and staff was great too. And the donuts...
Was a very busy spot but they got us right in. The food was tasty and served very quickly especially for as busy as they were. The young host (18 year old headed off to college) was incredible! His personality is going to take him places!
If I'm ever within an hour drive to this restaurant I will make it a point to go. Best restaurant in the whole area
Service was great. Chicken fried steak was probably the worst i have ever had. It was small over cooked and over priced. The meat was so tuff i couldn't finish it. Also there was only about 4 bites of hash browns. Will not be back
Great food. Great service. Ryan was working in the bar and he did an amazing job.
Awesome delicious food!! Staff: not so great. We werent even noticed for about 15 minutes and didn’t get our coffee until our food was ready.
Good food, good service. Go for the donuts.
Great place. Muddy water gravy and biscuits!
The food was fantastic. The owner Jim was very friendly and hands on. The server Reed was excellent.
We are here twice during our trip, food was excellent as was the service. Definitely worth it to stop in for a nice dinner.
We ordered the $39.95 3-course special, which was a good value. However, the appetizer and dessert was fair while the entree tasted good.
My company and I were here today for wine tasting. The staff was amazing, friendly and welcoming. We’re from Dallas, I totally recommend this place . Also their doughnuts look delicious. Gonna have some for a midnight snack.....
Took my family for dinner and loved it! Staff is incredibly friendly. A local place with a great deal of sophistication. Yes, it is on the other side of I-70 from most Avon hotels, but it was only a 13 minute walk to the Westin. I would want to return to this restaurant with each visit to Avon. Bonus...it has a 'big-deal' wine list at very good prices.
Great for a casual breakfast/lunch, or it doubles as fine dining in the evening. High quality food, at a reasonable price. (love their baked goods/donuts too)
Incredible service, food, and mimosas! Mark is a fantastic server!
Great food, service and atmosphere!
I went simple and had the Oats... And actually it was amazing. Quick service even though they were very busy, highly recommended stop for breakfast on I-70.
Good food, good service
Huge portions... outstanding service... excellent quality food....best breakfast in the valley!
Quite a nice place and the food was good. They have both donuts and cronuts which are my husband's favorite. Our server was super friendly and nice.
It's easy to see why these guys have a high rating. Our server, Ryan, provided the highest quality customer service in Avon. Prices are reasonable, portions are massive, and the flavors are outstanding. Must visit!
