There are a lot of Danish bakeries in Solvang and I doubt there's a lousy one. But this one, Solvang Bakery is my absolute favorite. It's a very cozy n" cute little pastry shop that's big on fresh daily, sumptuous temptations. It's all good here and their Almond Butter Rings are to die for, OMG ! Don't come here if you're on a diet, LOL.

Always the best pastry in town. Birthday cakes are fabulous! Wedding cakes are beautiful and yummy. My daughter loves the brownies. I like to grab the cinnamon crisps or almond butter ring. Cannot go wrong with any selection, it is all super good!

Very good selection of pastries, cookies, cakes and breads. Their Onion Cheese bread is probably better than other similar breads in Solvang's other 3 or 4 long-time bakeries. Their Cinnamon bread is also superb. I would give their staff a star above their competition in town, for friendliness and attentiveness. It is always a pleasure to visit this location.

My guests at my 50th birthday party were raving about the coconut cake with custard filling cake from the Solvang Bakery. They all asked, “Where did you get this cake?!?!?!?”. Perfectly moist cake, subtle flavor, excellent eggy custard and the right balance of frosting. Also, beautifully decorated! I asked for purple iris and that is what I got. Plus, I ordered only a day ahead and they had no problem getting my cake done. I live in Santa Barbara and it was well worth the drive to pick up this cake! Well done! Thank you.

I've been to the Solvang Bakery several times, but live down in Orange County, CA... a bit too far for easy visiting. I just found out they will ship items! I LOVE Danish Waffles-- the long crispy pastries with jam and frosting-like filling between them. You'd think they'd never survive the USPS, but they are all individually wrapped and come in a lovely box with very cute ribbons!!! They were all in PERFECT condition, and the box makes it a lovely gift (to ME!!! --They are ALL MINE!!!). :D

Beautiful patio with plenty of furnature and foilage. Fine selection of sweet treats and pastries. The cupcake I had was peanut butter with gold flakes on top. It was very well decorated and tasted amazing! Will return again!

Cute little place, lots of character. Not a ton of room. We stopped in for a snack, hot choc, mocha, eclair, and filled shortbread cookies. Are were extremely good. Minor docking of star due to our staff person that waited on us, I'm guessing, wanted to be somewhere else. All the tourists must get boring. Nice enough, but just kinda there.

This is my favorite Bakery. The selection of pasteries is wonderful. My favorite is the Chocolate Eclair, followed by a Reeses Brownie, a piece of the Butter ring Danish. For the Hollidays Gingerbread Houses are something special The Solvang Bakery is well known for order yours early online. They are something special that's sure to be a hit at your home for the Holiday.

Solvang Bakery prepared our wedding cake for our special day this past September! The cakes are SO good and the staff is so nice! My husband and I don't truly enjoy cake that much, but we LOVED their cakes. We ended up choosing a cake that had a layer of brownie inside of it. It tasting amazing and looked beautiful!

Nice girls at the counter. Unfortunately the cheesecake tasted like an old shoe. Make sure the goods they give you arnt more than a day old. All kidding aside this cheesecake had to have been out for at least 3 days. Never knew cheesecake could taste stale and like rubber. The insides were a little better and I could tell, in its youth, it was a fine tasting cheesecake. However, it was far beyond its prime now, and I had to put it out of its misery. RIP

Solvang Bakery has a good selection of pastries and breads, with free samples at the counter and a cute little dining area in the back. We've tried the Strawberry Danish, Apple Strudel, Apricot and Raspberry cookies, and a lovely Gingerbread Man! Great customer service, as well. We'll definitely come back to Solvang Bakery on our return visit :)

It's a very chic bakery, with petti four cakes, donuts, cakes, coffee/drinks and other gift items. They do have a seating area indoor and outdoor, it seems pretty relax here and they were super nice. Not only that it's pretty affordable for the pastries but the gift items can be a bit pricey but they are really cute.

Ordered a cake for my friend's birthday and Solvang Bakery was recommended by my niece who lives locally. I chose the cake ingredient by ingredient over the phone a few days before. It was ready as expected and looked perfect! Very tasty but the icing was a bit sweet. The cake and decorations were wonderful. Should have asked for light icing.

DELICIOUS! They made our wedding cakes+cupcakes and they were so good. They were friendly, helpful, accommodating, and budget friendly. We went to a cake tasting that seemed pricey, but the cost went towards our total (if we chose them as our vendor). We couldn't decide on just one of their delicious cake flavors and luckily we didn't have to! We had a small cake to cut in one flavor, cupcakes in a variety of flavors to decorate the cake table, and a small sheet cake in another flavor. All within our budget! Thanks for sweetening our reception Melissa and the rest of the bakery crew!!!

Solvang Bakery gives friendly, professional and prompt service . I needed to send a “ thankyou” delivery of assorted pastries to an office before they closed that same day and, even though the bakery prefers to have delivery requests the day before, they made it happen within a couple hours. Plus they added on a 10% discount since I’m a local. P. S. If you haven’t tried their butter rings you are missing out. They use fresh butter instead of margarine.

Solvang is known for its baked goods and there are dozens of bake shops selling high-dollar baked goods. This one is next door to the Windmill, a picture spot. There is a city parking lot behind the store and a walking path to the street from that lot. Spend time to walk the town, browse the shops and just enjoy the atmosphere of this town. We stopped in some antique shops and found wondrous {well out or our price range} antiques that represent American history and the advancement of sound recording and playing. We did have coffee and baked goods at this location and each was good. As we were leaving the Bakery truck from Los Angles showed up and made a delivery to several of the shops along the street. Hummm !
