My 1st experience with Armenian Cuisine. Many stand American sandwiches and salads also are well made. My favorite is Ajorsky which I may have spelled wrong. Its a couple of eggs baked in a thin bread basket with cheese and soft beef jerky. My daughter likes the cream puffs.

Amazing place. The pizzas are cooked in a wood fired oven and are cheap. Only 7.95 for a 12" pizza with unlimited toppings. The deserts are gorgeous and tasty.

This place opened up not long ago so I tried it out, but only to be annoyed that it is the same as every other Armenian bakery cheap low cost bread type pastries to save money. At first glance everything looks appealing but the majority of it is the same thing, bread, bread and more dry bread. I tried the eclair and it's just thick dry bread, I tried the chocolate croissant but it isn't really a croissant it's just bread with chocolate in it and lacks taste. The majority of what they have is sponge cakes held together with inexpensive whipped cream, they are all the same just different colors and fruits so they will look appealing and different but are not. They are cheap low cost desserts and to make everything seem worth your money but aren't. If you take a look at what they have you will notice it's the same ingredients over and over but just with different colors of cake or a different topping and they add the illusion of having a great product with their idea of good decor. In all seriousness this place doesn't even hold a candle light to Porto's, the low prices at Porto's, quality and ACTUAL SELECTION of DIFFERENT pastries not only the illusion of a large selection like this place, everything at Porto's is actually different and stands on its own not like this place where everything is the same just dry bread and different colors. There is a reason why the line at Porto's is out the door every single day and the other reviews about bad rude service is true, for my visit I had a nice lady helping me but I witnessed the attitude of the other young girl working there the (your wasting my time because you walked in the door) attitude, well those are customers that support you place of work. So try this place if you want to, but please do yourself a favor and try Porto's as well and compare, you won't be disappointed.

Flew into California on a Friday, discovered this bakery on a Saturday morning, and visited this place everyday (multiple times a day) during our 5 day stay. Sampled breakfast, lunch and dessert, everything we had was amazing, especially the ajarski(which I never had before)!! I came with a big group of family to celebrate a kids b-ball game win. This restaurant is big and beautiful, and serves a wide array of foods, drinks, pastries, and desserts. I ordered a latte and a chocolate cheesecake. Both were excellent. A family member had me try his coconut cake and WOW! I'm not really into eating coconut anything, but that cake was so amazing I wish I had ordered it.

I’m so sad to say that even though the pastries and coffee is delicious, the Teo cashiers have very poor customer service. I’m a regular customer and always enjoy my delicious latte but today was a horrible experience when I asked why my coffee was watery and since I wasn’t satisfied I asked if she can remake me a new one, well to my surprise she said “no I can’t because there’s nothing wrong with it” I said “I don’t know how you’re trying to tell me otherwise when I’m the customer!” She rolls her eyes at me and says “whatever” really?! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE INDEED! They lost a good customer and I will tell my friends and family not to go there. I walked out unsatisfied even when I asked for her to make me a cappuccino she said; “I can go ahead and try but you’re still gonna be unsatisfied” wow

Lots of potential here! It looks like a local gathering spot. Desserts, coffee, tea, what more could you want?! I had a slice of Raffaello, a lite cake. After choosing it from the glass case it was played beautifully on a stylish square plate with a drizzle of Carmel. I was surprised by the plastic ware that was handed to me. The cake was two layers with almond butter creme inside a sponge cake. It was good. Not remarkable but good. I also ordered a tea which was Tea Forte. They have almond and soy milk which made this #allergygirl smile.

This is a great spot in the heart of North Hollywood if you have a sweet tooth. You can also order sandwiches and pizza. I love cheese rolls. You can get one here for just a dollar. Not too bad. The sweets are always fresh tasting with so many to choose from. You can also purchase cake for that special occasion. There are plenty of places to sit inside and outside.

Recently visited LA for about a week and was introduced to Lilit on my second morning here, I was completely blown away. I returned at least 5 times over the duration of my stay. The breakfast burrito was beyond amazing and is so generously portioned I was able to save half of it for later (I have a VERY large appetite). They also have a decent sized coffee menu with reasonable prices. The iced mocha coffee I had was really good and my girlfriend's "caramel something" wasn't bad. They also have a ridiculously large dessert selection from individual treats to full cakes. The customer service was exceptional and the staff was all very friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone and I will be coming back here every time I'm in North Hollywood.

Horrible...stood in line...and they kept passing me the only BLACK person in the establishment up...I finally asked if you are serving according to the line because I have been next and was told " she told me to serve this lady" (she being another cashier and the other lady being of WHITE SKIN COLOR!!!! Bakery lacks flavor, Beverages are just as mediocre as a regular doughnut shop with a higher price, one the employees I saw entering the store was vaping/smoking by the Coca Cola/ Pepsi machines. I've loved Lilit for a long time. I come here when I want a really good homemade ajarski. The baker who makes it in the afternoon, has been making ajarski for over 20 years, and he knows the secret is in the crust! If you are feeling decadent, try the fries generously heaped with real bacon and real cheddar cheese, I enjoyed them for lunch and the serving was so large, I enjoyed the other half later on at home for dinner. The Armenian coffee is fine and very tasty. I wish I could have a bag of it to make in my little coffeepot at work in the mornings; it always puts a little spring in my step for the walk home. I also highly recommend the pastries; they are delicious, and best of all, never too sweet, always just right. I'm very glad to have such a great place so close to where I live, just a block away. I would b e in constant heaven if they would deliver to me, but then I would never get to sit in the sun and enjoy the pleasing decor. I love to watch the families and the children. So many handsome older gentlemen; I wonder if they are single.

Love this bakery. Whether you are there to have lunch, sandwiches salads and pizza are all good. Dessert and coffee they have you covered. Some of the best tasting desserts I’ve ever had and their coffee is really good I can drink it black, doesn’t have that bitter taste. I’ve ordered birthday cakes here as well and they’re moist and flavorful. Service is good, the girls are sweet and helpful. This is my go to place for meals and desserts!

This place is always popping on the weekends. It's hard to find parking and sometimes hard to find a table to sit at. But the pastries, coffee and their ajarski is definitely worth the wait. I wouldn't necessarily take my homework there because their internet is pretty terrible. But it's really nice to enjoy a cup of coffee with your friends and family. It has that Porto's feel to it but still within reasonable waiting time and service. It's my go-to when I'm in the Valley.

It's just off the 170 freeway at the Victory exit, so its easy to get to if you are arriving in or leaving Hollywood. I highly recommend trying this bakery for a nice European treat. This place is just amazing in about every way it can be. Firstly, the pastries here are all solid, whether you're getting one of their sweets or their AMAZING cheese pastries, they're all great. Lunch and dinner is also great, especially their pizzas. One pizza in particular is a really good sleeper, look for the one with no tomato sauce, portobello mushrooms, arugula, and feta, right now its called the Portobello Pizza, but it used to have a different name. The fries are also decent, and the sandwiches are pretty good, but I would definitely try the pizza before anything else in this category. They've also got a nice selection of drinks; do yourself a favor and get yourself one of their iced teas. If you're into coffee they also got that. One thing I will warn you about is that depending on the time it might be hard to get a seat, and service isn't the fastest, but I'll take that in exchange for good food.

Decided to check this place out on Father’s Day and have their specialty: Ajarski. Ajarski is an Armenian pizza like dish, as I know it. It looks like a little dough boat, loaded with lots of Cheese and they crack eggs in there sunny side up and hey let it melt and do it’s thing in an oven. We got there around 11:30am and quickly placed our order for Ajarski since we were told it takes about 30 minutes to prepare it. In the meantime we ordered some coffees, teas and their Nutella & Cream Croissant, which were delicious!!! We mingled a bit and before we knew it the Ajarskies were ready. OH MY GOD! The melting ooozzzing cheese, the crispy yet soft dough and the sunny side up egg on top could not have been more executed perfectly! We literally could not have enough of them. The cheese was sos stretchy, it was mozzarella and Armenian feta cheese mixed together that gave it that stretchy and amazing taste. It was fantastic! We are hooked! TIP: the only downside to this cafe is the fact that there are different lines for everything. For example, the Ajarski was ordered by the oven, the pastry was ordered the opposite side and the drinks were ordered by the pastry. I think if they make that more organized they will even benefit from it, and the customers too. Other than that we walked out very satisfied and so did the dads :)

I wanted to love this place so much... they have some good coffee and some nice desserts, but some are also borderline too sweet. The people are nice enough but somewhat clueless and incompetent. I thought that it might have been due to some sort of communication or language barrier at first but I'm now fairly convinced that the employees lack professionalism or intelligence -- or the worst combination of both. It's JUST good enough that I may give it ONE last shot (mostly because it's local and convenient), but it's looking a little grim. If you're willing and curious, it's worth ONE visit to sample the goods but I recommend making sure that you're in a very patient mood when you do. I've had my orders mixed up with someone else's... they tried to charge me twice during one of my visits. During another visit, a friend of mine had to ask for her change, more than once -- and it was kind of embarrassing because I raving on and on about how excited I was for her to try the place. I watched one of the employees take 10 minutes to plate my dessert order -- she was mostly walking back and forth looking confused. The last straw was when I tried to preorder a cake for a holiday weekend. I inquired with a girl behind the counter who paused, called another girl over, and then THAT girl just said, "we're TOO BUSY" and literally walked away immediately after that. She didn't bother to find out how difficult or simple my order would be; didn't offer any alternatives or professional responses. I was this close to being a regular who was willing to overlook some quirks, but bad customer service is a solid deal breaker for me.
