Whatever you do, get their hot donuts!! The fresh, hot donuts are the best!! They're also known for their glazed crumb donuts. My friends were raving about these donuts all night and I didn't believe the hype until I got my hands on one. I devoured it and wished I got two like my friends wisely did.

I was calling to inquire about a general price range, because I am shopping around to quite a few bakeries. Understanding fully that a more extensive quote would have to be given to me later, I was hoping for an idea as to what the cost of a sheet cake might be. I was essentially yelled at for asking more than one question, and told that I needed to send an email with a description, etc if I wanted any quote information. The phone conversation lasted fifteen seconds. Sorry to take up your time! Crossing you off the list.

I've been here at least a dozen times and the cookies are great. Lots of variety and the prices are solid considering the cookies are pretty big. There have been a couple times some of the cookies were on the greasy/oily side, but still delicious nonetheless. The place is tiny so I always make it a point to get in and out pretty quickly. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

This place doesn't even deserve 1star for the cake I received, it was the most unappealing cake I have ever seen and ordered. I traveled to LA for my boyfriend bday and wanted to surprise him with an awesome custom Versace cake but unfortunately, that didn't happen!!!!!!!!!!! I sent my order on 8/4/17 and they said they would take care of it A small circle cake balck and gold w/ the medusa head on top and with gold rope around the rim- no one reached out to me letting me know they were unable to customize the Versace cake I wanted, instead they proceeded to put together a busted looking cake (will upload the black and gold and silver (I never even requested that color on the cake) - it was the worst custom cake I have ever seen. smh. I will give them credit for having the medusa head printed nicely but overall the cake was hideous and looked like they just threw together whatever, smh I was so disappointed when I received my cake because I was so excited to order a cake that had great reviews and even had celebrities eat their cake. The cake taste wasn't bad but it wasn't that great either. Thanks Cake & Art for manipulating me into ordering the cake with the pictures they posted I expected way more from y'all. I will never order a cake again from you guys when I return to Cali. Smh smh I ordered the cake in 2017 and I know I am about a year late, I was busy traveling so I was unable to write a review and 8/4 is coming and the horrible pictures appeared in my memories.

I've been ordering cakes from C&A for oh, seven years now for clients- mostly movie studio execs and such, and they are always creative, collaborative, and Tom's staff seems to really dig their work. Someday, I'll find a reason to order their more "adult" themed delectables. I'll have to pinterest some pics of our cakes over the years. Rad stuff!!

For starters, easy parking. We were there at around 4:30, traffic was getting kinda bad but the parking lot was easy and quick to find. We got a 12 inch yellow cake, a lemon crumb muffin, cinnamon roll and a lemon bar.

The cakes here look amazing-- afterall they call themselves Cake Art. Unfortuately, the taste is not all that special. They offer cupcakes, too. But I'm already a fan of a few other cupcake places that are fresher, moister, and better tasting. Worst cake shop ever. TERRIBLE Customer Service. If you're not happy, their attitude is "Too Bad, Get Over It". I was told to stop whining, and get over it. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE FOR YOUR CAKES! I was blocked in by their female employee who was loading cakes into the back of her car for delivery. When I pointed out she was blocking me and asked her to move, I was told "I've only been a couple minutes, you can wait". If she had said she was sorry for the inconvenience & thanked me for waiting, that would have been the end of it. Since she was so rude, I went into the store. I asked a young man behind the display if the lady loading the cakes in her car was an employee and was told YES. I then suggested that perhaps their employee should not be double parked blocking me in and blocking traffic on Santa Monica Blvd. I was told that they pay taxes to use the roads like me, and that I should just "Get Over It, & Get A Life". Again, if I had been told they were sorry for inconveniencing me, that would have been the end of it. There was no one else in the store, I was the only customer. VERY RUDE EMPLOYEES!

They took my order over the phone for a book signing that was going to take place in just a few days. I emailed them pics of the front cover and the spine of the book, told them what I was looking for and left the rest to chance. I had never dealt with them before. They did an AMAZING job!!!! The cake was a smash hit and the taste was fantastic. Their Red Velvet cake is to die for! It brought the author to tears. A sincere THANK YOU goes out to all the super friendly and helpful staff.

Now I've heard of cake pops before (and love them) but pie pops? What a great invention. I used Sweet Lauren Cakes for a client event recently and I loved them and so did my clients. I got a mix of cake pops (chocolate and red velvet) and pie pops (apple cinnamon and pumpkin). They even made the colors match my company's logo. I'd definitely get some goodies from here again.

Came here with my friend because she wanted to try the interesting shaped cookies. The cookies are coconut macaroons covered in chocolate with some coconut shavings on the top. The cookie was around 5 dollars, I think its a one time thing. I wouldn't go here on purpose because I crave the cookie, but its one of those oh let me try it once kinda thing. The taste is soft, crispy with some chewiness to it. I enjoyed it. Definitely good to try this at least once and do it for the picture !
