We were joined with a number of friends for dinner and the whole experience was pleasant for all of us. We will definitely return and bring even more friends and family with us. Please watch out eating the Peach Cake i took a slice home and almost swallow a tooth pick ,i called them up and ask if they put tooth pick in there cake and they do So watch out. We love eating there the food is yummy

One of our favorite restaurants in Palm Springs! Comfort food at its best! You won’t find healthy California cuisine on the menu so don’t bother! But man do they know how to cook some good food. Atmosphere is amazing. We love the prime rib and fried chicken. Breakfasts are great too. You have to try the peach cobbler when it’s in season!

Billy Reed's is a great place, but it's too far north to remember. It's just north of Vista Chino between Indian Canyon and Palm Canyon. So it's not too far to go...the rest of the restaurants are much further south. It's a big restaurant that serves a great breakfast and dinner. I haven't been there for lunch yet.

Stumbled on this place because it was close to the hotel. Quick web search said it would be worth it and no disappointments. Everything fresh and homemade, service impeccable. Old school feel, like grandma might be in the kitchen. My stomach was not big enough to try everything I wanted, so looking forward to the next time.

This Palm Springs restaurant is like stepping back in time. The decor is retro with Tiffany-like lamps, red velvet chairs, tschotskes, "gentleman's saloon", etc. There were a lot of groups celebrating birthdays so one gets the impression this is a special occasions place. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner all day. My family and I opted for a couple of their dinner specials at 5pm on a Saturday. Dinners were delicious and hot, with fast service, by friendly waitress. Salad plates were cleared quickly, water glasses refilled promptly, and after dinner was cleared we asked for dessert menu. The tapioca pudding was lone my Grandma made with real whipped cream. (Not canned.) All four of us enjoyed the service, food, and atmosphere.

Charming restaurant in Palm Springs. I've been here for breakfast and I loved it. Nice and quiet atmosphere. Crew is lovely and caring. Coffee and water are always refilled up. There is a huge parking lot with trees, allowing shade for your car. I definitely recommend it and will be back.

OMG. The food was really good. The service was quick and professional. They truly wanted to serve you. Made sure you were always topped up and happy with your drink or hot beverage. I had a chicken pot pie meal that came with two sides. I chose a small soup (the split pea and it was delicious) and garlic bread. The chicken pot pie was so delicious, rich and big I had to carry some home. No regrets. I was happy to tip them more than what was required. Worth it. Plan to go back.

Service was Amazing. Our waitress was AMAZING!!!!! There were 4 in our group. All the food was good Only complaimt was the Blue cheese dressing was watered down, it was very runny and when poured on salad the blue cheese chunks was the only thing on the lettuce. The other part of the dressing just ran to the bottom of the plate. Which made the lettuce just taste and feel like they washed the lettuce and didnt rinse

Decades of amazing food and service. Today was no exception. I ordered the baked pasta dish which included a good size piece of garlic bread and salad. The quantity and quality of food was superb. My husband ordered a chicken club sandwich and a cup of split pea soup, which also came with a generous size piece of garlic bread. We had planned to split desert...but as the servings were so generous...we will save desert for it's own special visit. Great value...great food. Fabulous fresh peach desert during summer (dates vary depending upon availability...because they will only serve the very best!)

Good food and great service. I always enjoy coming here. They are accommodating and extremely nice. I come with a large group on Friday nights and they don't truth us away even though we always end up being the last customers in the restaurant. The food selection is also really good, if you want healthy they will serve your healthy food. If you want junk food they would be happy to oblidge.

A lovely elderly Gay couple own and run this wonderful restaurant of American fare. One bakes their amazing pies and supervises the kitchen while the other manages the front of the house. Always excellent food with large portions at exceptional prices. Large restaurant which means you never need a reservation.

Hair we go again! Second time I've found hair in the food here, this time in the desert and they still charged when they brought the new one with no hair, should have been at least free! I don't know why my friends like dragging me there. It's decor is very old and outdated too bad. The service is pretty good though.

They really take care of their guests. My party had to change its head count 3 times, and the host didn't miss a beat. We were taken care of the whole time. The food was great, and the desserts were worth every delicious calorie. I will definitely be going back.

4 of us had breakfast at Billy Reeds on March 1st. I gave my glasses to my wife to put in her purse when we were leaving, and she forgot them on the table. I called when we were half way back to Las Vegas and they said they found them and would send them to me. I received them today, and want to thank Billy Reed for sending them. The food was fantastic and the place is awesome. If you are in Palm Springs, you have to go there. We’ll go back!!!

Its hard to describe walking into a 12000 sq ft restaurant from the 70s that still has the same decor. This place brought so much joy before i even ordered my food. The breakfast was awesome, the pecan waffle, the omelet, gravy, biscuit was all excellent. The service was awsome as well. The best way i can describe it here is you walk and and you walk out feeling warm and fuzzy inside. If you in palm springs you need to go here.

A treasured, upscale restaurant in Palm Springs! I'm not sure how I ever overlooked this fabulous restaurant that has been in business for 30 years. Two of the servers we had, have been there for each 30 years and their service for us was exceptional. The restaurant has a "30 years ago" feel, but is well maintained with some beautiful antiques. An awning extends out from the front door if you wish to be dropped off. The menu is QUITE extensive with unlimited choices (even liver and onions!)Everything we've ever had there has been delicious with sizable portions. Desert! Yes, they have a wide selection and all are homemade and fresh! We love to stop by and try new entrees!

Stopped here on my way from LAX back to Phoenix. I saw the reviews and decided to try it myself. The restaurant reminds me of the Great Gatsby a little, very interesting. It was clean and quiet. My server was AMAZING, so very attentive and provided excellent service the whole time. I ordered the fish and chips, which was a great choice recommended by my server. It was delicious and quite a big portion. I was afraid it would be greasy, but it wasn't. If you're traveling through, I think this would be a great spot for you to try.

Dropped in for some breakfast today with a local friend. It was quiet and the service good. My friend said on the weekends you can barely get a seat. He told me the owner (who was at the host counter) has been there since the 70's. And that he still comes in to help the bakers make pies. He said the Lemon Meringue was amazing! Billy Reed,'s is old school comfort food and the menu is endless. You step back in time to the Victorian era, where you are surrounded by antiques and replica items from the late 1800's. The entree food portions are certainly big enough for 2 people to share, and the staff doesn't mind splitting a meal for you....just ask. Watch out...Billy might just stop by your table to ask you how you are doing and offer you one of his home made desserts! They are amazing, and hard to pass up. No really...they are to die for.

Fabulous place! Friendly staff and super delicious food. The only reason I don't give it a five star rating is because as soon as we paid our bill (and we tipped 25%) we got completely ignored. We we're vacationing and Friend drove two hours to come have dinner with us, so we were in no hurry to leave. I loathe being ignored after paying the check. Especially because we sat long enough that we decided to have dessert, but couldn't because no one came to check on us.

Delicious!!! Perfect casual night out with my mom and sister. Food was on point. Right portions and full of flavor. They have this banana nut loaf. Homemade with butter that is a must have. My steak was cooked just the way I asked. My moms pot pie made me want to bite it and my sister had a sortment of appetizers: wings, coconut shrimp and loaded wedges. We passed the plates around and sampled it all. Such a great meal in good company. Servicer was super sweet and everyone was having a grand Friday night. Cheers!!!

All I wanted was breakfast at 11:30, that tasted like something you'd make it home if you are a good cook. Billy Reed's is a scratch kitchen, everything is homemade. I had a basic ham and cheese omelette, with crispy hash browns... So good, the homemade salsa, absolutely amazing. The wait staff is always attentive, Donna has been our waitress for the last several visits, she's the best! My only regret is not asking for a piece of pie to go!

Wife and I ~love~ Billy Reed's. Needs dark roast, bold coffee (and let the pansies pour in hot water if they want it this weak), but the HUGE Salmon Salad is off the charts good, as is just about everything else on the menu. That said, I can't believe the cooks can keep up with this HUMONGOUS menu (too big, quite frankly), but we've never been disappointed. Rather, we've always been very pleased with the food and the service, and we tip accordingly. You need to go to Billy Reed's. Trust me, you will not be disappointed (and the decor and ambiance are way above just about every other place you will go...and the restrooms are clean--a too rare thing, nowadays).

First ever visit to BR's after coming to PS for over 20 years, great atmosphere and ambience. The decor and booths around us were certainly in need of some TLC, however our server was excellent as was my Prime Rib dinner. My friends ate Chicken Picata all good and Roast Turkey Dinner - mashed potatoes had some raw garlic in and the gravy was not tasty and upto scratch. The Pinot Noir I had with dinner was certainly drinkable and we would definitely repeat visit.
