We eat at Mimi’s Cafe in Rogers a lot! The French Toast is the best around. My husband loves the meatloaf. The portion size of the meatloaf has decreased since we started going, but he still gets it. As a family of six it’s hard to get good waitress who doesn’t mind serving us, but Ashley H. is the BOMB! She is the best one we’ve ever encountered anywhere! She so sweet and very attentive. We try to get her every time we go there. We highly recommend going to Mimi’s in Rogers and we highly recommend asking for Ashley H.!

This place is pretty decent. The complementary rolls were cold on the inside a little bit on the inside, but not too much. The Meatloaf plate I got was okay. The Meatloaf was pretty good, but the green beans are plain and the Quinoa rice was a little stale and dry. Coffee is pretty good. They gave me regular milk instead of creamer and that is always a plus :D The Triple Berry Cookie Crumble is the best! I love that dessert

Have been to Mimi's before in CA and TX. Was not high on my list to repeat ASAP. This one in Albuquerque on our road trip was convenient, close and WONDERFUL!! Our waitress, Kaylynn was very pleasant and helpful. The manager came to the table and hurried back with a little extra we asked for. My dinner, Rustic Chicken was DELICIOUS!

I've gone here plenty of times with others. Perfect little cafe to relax at. Nice staff. Yummy warm muffins, buttermilk is their best in my opinion. There are a couple in Utah and the one out east in Florida. Same options and decor. Only ever gone for breakfast/brunch. Would recommend for an affordable option better than IHOP.

We had a very bad experience yesterday, March 21st, 2019. The service was extremely poor, as we had to ask for a napkin, knife and fork. Then the food was questionable. About 20 minutes after we left, I had severe diarrhea! My husband didn’t have that problem, so it must have been my salad, because he didn’t eat a salad. We will never return to that place!

I have loved this place since I was a kid. Amazing summer salads and the muffins are so good! The creme brulee was perfect! My favorite dish is their strawberry and grilled shrimp salad. I've only seen it in the summer but it's totally worth a trip!

The food was really good. The service on the other hand was terrible. It took over 10 minutes to get our drinks but we weren't the only ones. The same thing happen to the people behind us. I also heard other customers get there orders wrong or not cooked right. But the manager seemed to get it solved. The Waiter needs more training on what should come first to the customers.

Saturday 3/30/2019 my family (6) was in town celebrating the remaining days of my 67th birthday celebration. We had our meal between 12pm and 1:15pm. Upon getting ready to leave we spotted a Cockroach walking from beneath the bread basket (he was snug between the bottom of the wax and metal basket). It was brought to our server’s attention who didn’t seem shocked at all. However, he was bold enough to want to give my niece the bill. After she spoke to manager she didn’t have to pay. She was told the place is “sprayed every week”. Close the place down and give it a thorough cleaning. But, I won’t be back here!!!

The atmosphere is charming, however, we were told the wait was 20-25 minutes and we waited well over 45 minutes. They were severely understaffed and therefore unable to use the other half of the building. The staff that was present were really nice and apologized repeatedly, but when the staff has to apologize repeatedly to you - that is not a good sign! The cappuccino, brochette trio appetizer, & muffin were good! My quiche was not so good. The crust was not crispy and it felt and looked microwaved. It was not a pretty plate! Long wait, overall poor tasting food, and not worth our time or money. Unfortunately, we do not intend to ever eat here again.

Never again! We were just tortured for two and a half hours. Everything we needed was a process. Not enough silver ware st the table, I waited 20 minutes while my food got cold. Need a refill, good luck. Want dessert, better settle in for another 45 minutes. Ask for the check, he delivers it 30 minutes later. They screwed up our plans because we couldn’t make our afternoon appt. I didn’t plan to have Mimi’s Cafe completely monopolize my day. Make the omelets, serve them, collect the money, and set the customers free. Don’t hold people hostage! It was like dinner at my ex mother in laws house. Torture! To qualify, the waiter was very kind. He had to many tables and the kitchen is slower than Christmas. We loved this place. NO MORE! This absolutely sucked.

I shop in Henderson, NV. With a couple of friends. We pick a place to have lunch at the half way point of the day. On this day we thought the food and services the last time we ate there was so good we would try it again. Same server, different area same food choice for each of us. Server didn't remember us and we said nothing. Food was just OK, two of us ate salads (lettuce was old and had brown spots on the leaves) one had a sandwich.Service was slow. Had to ask for bread, it was put on table with attitude. Drinks were not refilled. We won't go back for a long time. Sad because the first time was so good.

Normally I like Mimi's for the good menu selection, today not so much. A 20 minute wait with open tables available, at least 10+. We were there for brunch so not at a time when they are typically slammed. The slightly longer wait for food was explained by all of our food being cold and the kids chicken strips over cooked. I understand that it is often not the servers fault, with a help wanted sign welcoming guests, I suspect that this restaurant is understaffed both in the kitchen and on the floor. Don't take the online survey unless you want to waste 20 minutes of your life.

Ordered appetizer chicken on a stick w/peanut sauce, not compatible nor cooked long enough. Cheesy flatbread wasnt fresh, nor was the small pieces of bread for the dip(ok). My friend ordered shrimp/spinach salad said dressing was horrible & shrimp was undercooked. Never offered refills on water or how our food tasted! Heard good things about other mimi's from friends, however this one didnt "cut the mustard!"

Lovely lunch The grilled Atlantic salmon was really good; about the freshest I have tasted since a trip to Seattle 2 years ago! I honestly don’t know why this place is rated so highly.. we went in this afternoon for lunch and we won’t ever be coming back. The fries were ridiculously soggy, I had to let them sit in my napkin to dry off. My husband was eating the fries with his fork due to how thin and floppy they were. I wasn’t even asked if I wanted fries with my burger when you’re supposed to be given a choice. We were seated for 20 minutes before we even got our water. The food was overall pretty typical, something you could easily fix at home. I’d highly recommend eating somewhere else

My first visit here. To start we ordered a cinnamon roll. It was hard as a rock. My mimosa was really good but we thought we were getting brunch special. It was sold to us at regular price. Lack of communication from our server. My salmon Benedict was good except my egg was way overcooked, and the hollandaise was broken. Our server was not pleasant to deal with. Don't think we will go back.

So disappointed. If I wasn’t with my mother, I would’ve walked out. Where do I even begin?! Made reservations for 6. 3 adults. 2 seniors. And a 10 year old. Arrived at 545, waited for an hour to be seated. During our wait, over heard what I’m assuming was the manager (reddish shirt, olive skin, accent) murmur “Jesus Christ I wish they’d just leave already” presumably talking about a larger group of guest who were finished eating but still at the table. My jaw hit the floor, but because we had already waited close to an hour- decided not to walk out. After that incident, right before being seated, I went to the restroom- noticed SEVERAL empty tables/booths. I was going to inquire about these empty tables but we were seated shortly upon my return from the restroom. As we approached the booth, I asked the host if we could be seated at a table instead. I am pretty far along in my pregnancy and didn’t want the table pressing upon my stomach. His response was something like “oh yea give me a moment, I’ll get someone”. After my party of 6 awkwardly stood around the booth for several minutes we decided to squeeze in for the moment so we weren’t awkwardly standing in the dining room. After 20 minutes or so, and 2 parties being sat at the tables that could’ve accommodated us, I walked up to another server- patted my stomach and asked if we could PLEASE switch to a table like previously requested because I was completely uncomfortable. She was pleasant and told me she’d tell my server. Another 10 minutes went by before a server came over and asked us what the plan was for our move? I then pointed at a table that was clean and asked if we could move. She obliged, told us to grab our menus and silverware and to go ahead and move. We stood/sat at that first booth for over a half hour without even getting offered drinks! After sitting down our new waitress appeared pretty quickly and asked what we were eating. I had to remind her we would like to get drinks first. Duh! After our drinks arrived, my sister asked her if there was another menu- referencing my son- and she quickly and rudely said NOPE. Funny thing was, a kid behind us was eating chicken fingers and fries- which definitely wasn’t a part of their special mother’s day menu. As we started to order, half of my party couldn’t even get what they wanted because they were out of items already. As the appetizers came, all 3 of them were sat beside my brother in law. Not in the middle of the table, or spread out. Just handed to him. As the dishes came out, same thing! Our waitress acted like she couldn’t walk around the table. Although there was no one on either side of us! Not one time with any of the food, drinks or dessert did our waitress actually hand the item to the person it belonged to. Just handed them to either my brother in law or myself and told us “pass this”. It was weird, but also extremely rude. The food was subpar, at best. We left with 3 FULL plates of food on the table still. (French dip with stale bread and cold fries for my son, mandarin chicken salad, and artichoke chicken). We weren’t asked once if everything was ok. Or even offered Togo boxes for the huge amount of food left behind. The whole experience was extremely disappointing. There was no customer service AT ALL! No one smiled. Everyone seemed extremely stressed and unhappy (including the manager!). We spent $200, and still had to pick up something for the folks who didn’t eat on the way home. I’m very disappointed Mimi!

So maybe my expectation was too high for mother's day but they did have a very limited course menu so I'm not sure what the excuse is. it took us 2 hours to receive our food from the time we put our name in. They got several things wrong on our order and the water tasted like soap. personally my eggs benedict was actually pretty good and the server and manager were both apologetic but definitely a solid 3.

Went to Mimi's for lunch and they have introduced their new menu. Very disappointed in the increase of prices. I used to get a quiche which came with small salad and muffin. Now it comes with 2 tomato slices for same price. Friend got s cranberry walnut salad and it was 16.99. Very pricey for a salad. While I think their food is good, I can find the same quality for less elsewhere. I'm sorry to say I will not be patronizing Mimi's in the future.

Went here on a busy Friday evening for a nice last dinner with family before flying back home. Was greeted and seated within minutes, got a nice and quiet booth and service very quickly. Server was a nice young man who attended our needs efficiently and without delay. We each ordered something different off the menu with offered a great variety of choices! We have not been to a Mimi's since moving from California and I must say what a delightful experience we had on this occasion. Staff even obliged to take our photo for us before we left. I wish there was a Mimi's in Ohio where we live now!

Service was a tad bit slow. We waited about thirty minuets for the food when no one was here and we weren’t given drink refills. Mimosas aren’t served until 11 am so we were very disappointed. The food was amazing and was gone in less than 10 minuets! Portions are generous and I was able to split a plate with a friends and still be full!

Mimis cafe is a New Orleans Jazz themed restraunt. They have an authentic Style of cooking with a variety of delicious meals. They have All Day Breakfast and lunch/dinner categories. Very clean restrooms. A room for private meetings. Great space. Professional staff. Jazz Themed Art. They have a bar, and seasonal beverages and food. In the photo from the top are: salmon Benedict, four Griddlecakes with scrambled eggs and pork sausage. The bottom photo is one of my favorites: Chicken Cheddar Mac.

They have cut the portion size significantly on many items. The children's puppy dog pancake is a fraction of the size it used to be. I am in shock that it was $5 for a couple bites of a pancake. They also do not serve fruit with the children's breakfast anymore. This is only one entree I am going to mention. The others were the same type of disappointment. I paid and left. My husband, some friends and I went for brunch on Sunday. The mimosas are tasty and reasonably priced. This is one of the few restaurants that has turkey sausage, and it's wonderful. The two-egg breakfast with the turkey sausage and toast is just enough to fill you up without being excessive. Their waffles are amazing and the wait staff, especially Brandy, is professional, courteous and friendly. I highly recommend this!

I always want to love this place. I've been here probably 5 times with my girlfriend. She loves it. Every time the appetizers (muffins, croissants) are delicious. However the entrees are always extremely lacking. I got a chipotle breakfast burrito which had all kinds of things on/in it. I get it and it's just a bit of salsa on top, a flavored tortilla, and literally all eggs/sausage on the inside. It was extremely disappointing and I feel like it's always this way. The service has always been great. I've never had a complaint about that. Service is always spot-on, courteous, helpful, and awesome

I ordered a fairly large catering order from Mimi's for my office's Christmas party. They made sure the process went smoothly, even after some confusion regarding some sides. Everything was ready right on time and there wasn't any issues. The manager and one of the chefs (I'm assuming, not sure if he was a chef or not) even followed up with a phone call to ensure that everything was good. Plus, when I've eaten there before it was always good food and good service.

We must have been at a different Mimi's Cafe than all these five-star raters. First visit for me and second for DW and we'll never return. Absolutely horrible server and wait times! Came around 3 for a late lunch and there were no more than five tables occupied. After being seated and given our ice water, it was another 10 minutes before our thoroughly incompetent waitress arrived. It went downhill from there. She took our order and said she'd bring bread but after 10 minutes my wife had to ask the other waitress (there were only two) and she brought it right away with a smile. Hmm, can we change servers, I thought to myself? Twenty minutes after ordering, our food arrived and the food is why I give it two stars. Nothing to write home about but it was good with ample portions. But no waitress most of the time in a virtually empty restaurant - we felt like we were invisible.

We experienced THE worst service from TAMMY at this location. Me and 4 coworkers had brunch here and we were in complete shock. Tammy was out server, who apparently was having a bad day. The food was great, no complaints. I ordered a Mocha Iced coffee that wasn't sweet but did the job. The pumpkin spice muffin was amazing. After she took out order a few seconds later someone wanted to add a plate and the look on her face read a very noticeable ANNOYED look! Once she brought the bill, we realized bot everyone had cash and we needed it split up. A friend walked up to the register and asked to split it and she blatantly rolled her eyes, took a deep breath and shrugged her shoulders saying that it would take time. Our entire party seen her have such attitude for asking to split the bill. Keeping in mind there were only about 3 other tables at this time, they weren't busy at all. Management should be very embarrased to have a person with this level of customer service working behind them. I will never dine here again.

Maybe they've changed owners since I was there last because my family used to enjoy Mimi's a few years ago. But out of 3 adult meals and one child, only the chicken tenders from the kids meal were actually pretty tasty. Most of the food was bland, the salad dressing was watery and they don't serve baskets of muffins anymore. It wasn't bad, just wasn't as good as I would have liked for the prices. We probably won't try it again. On the bright side, our server was one of the peppiest, sweetest ones I've ever met.

As great of a service as the location I previously went to by Disneyland. Their food was very flavorful and the menu offered a large variety of french and french-inspired items. Their cappuccinos and lattes are rich and smooth. I wish they had other drip coffee roasts besides french but can't blame them since it's their speciality.

I requested to order takeout and was given a menu and directed to sit at bar. The manager ignored me the whole time. A waitress came out from the back and asked if I received service and I said no. She apologized and said the manager should have taken your order. The waitress was pleasant and kudos to her. The salmon was over cooked and dried out. Blah! I was turned off from this place. I traveled all day and just wanted to get a meal to take back to the hotel.

Every time I come here, I always feel welcome and appreciated. Today, I had the pick 2 for 10, and added a Caesar. The chicken sandwich was pretty good, but the French onion soup was great. I was pleasantly surprised at the kale in my caesar as I usually don't eat Kale. However, I do now apparently. Always a good experience.

Decided on Mimis for a dinner date with my wife as we haven't been in a while. It was Very slow and the waitress was on top of everything. However, the menus had a variety of spilled drinks or food items on them, the first bread plate she brought out was filthy and after having my finger stick to my glass after a sip we were done. Understandable to have maybe an item or two be dirty but when it goes accross the board its telling of the general attitude towards cleanliness. Then, upon talking to the mgr he just stared at us as if we were lying. Its not as if we got our food then ate it Then said something to get out of the bill. Our appitizer had Just arrived when we requested our check to go and went untouched. NEVER AGAIN.

Fantastic place for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. They do not have a large selection of dinner entrees, but you don't need it with their extensive breakfast and lunch menus. All their food was fresh and wholesome. Even their mussels, in landlocked Arkansas, were delicious. I recommend the $5 specialty mimosas during happy hour. Their wait staff was friendly and quick to help with the order. My only complaint is how dim the restaurant was. I could barely see my plate. Their pricing is moderate with lunch dishes ranging from $7 to $12. Breakfast $3 to $8. Children are allowed, however, I do not recommend ones in high chairs since the isles are crowded.

I have yet to come to Mimi's on any holiday where they haven't been severely understaffed. I'm actually still in my booth as I type this and it's been an hour and ten minutes since we received our water and placed our order. No bread to start off, and no water refills. In fact the table next to us got their food, ate, and paid their check before we even got our meal, which as of now has still not arrived. If my mother in law didn't want to keep waiting, I would have left 30 minutes ago. I can honestly say I tried several times to enjoy my time here at Mimi's, but it's impossible. Recommend action : Find staff that is dependable.

The food was good, but under seasoned, nothing special. The service was ok, my steak was under done and the manager did come to the table when they brought it back to make sure it was correct. The server did the bare minimum and had several awkward exchanges. I did leave standard 18% tip, but she barely earned it. She never asked if we wanted more hot water for our tea or what beverage my son wanted with his kids meal which includes a beverage so we had to ask for it at the end of the meal. Apparently when you ask for water you are not expected to want another beverage even though you are paying for it.

Went for lunch today (on a Thursday). Food took forever to come out & wasn’t very good. Out of the 5 of us only one person said his grilled cheese was ok. Three ppl had fries & they were all cold. Quiche was dried out. I ordered chicken mandarin salad with no green onions. It came out long after everyone else’s food and had green onions on it. When I questioned server to see if she brought the wrong salad she just said they’d changed their menu recently. (Totally forgot my request.) only thing that was good was the blueberry muffin I got to go. I doubt I’ll go back. For what they charged, it’s not worth it. The original Mimi’s was so much better.

Me and my husband go to Mimi's sometimes. They have some really delicious breakfast options. I feel like it is a bit pricey. My biggest issue with the location however is that how good your service is depends on your waitress. We've been several times. Last time we went service was amazing. The time before that though, we were waiting for about 20 minutes to order, almost 30 minutes to get our food, and didn't get any refills on drinks. It just amazes me that there can be such a difference in wait staff. They need to really work on that.

Came here with 6 friends after a trip to Columbus. Bartenders were extremely rude when ordering bloody Mary’s. I know the place is busy, but always treat the costumers with respect. I was then cut off from drinking with no explanation. Racism and discrimination were definitely present we had a Japanese, Peruvian, Puerto Rican and a Chinese guy with us. My friends and I aren’t the most visually pleasing people when it comes to dressing. We dress in black band tees and we drink alcohol but we had the utmost respect for the establishment and got treated like vagabonds. We are all working people just like everyone else there. We left before an altercation happened. If you eat here it is recommended that you don’t look different from their typical clientele, which are mostly old people.

I love Mimi’s atmosphere! For some reason we don’t come here often , but my mom and I did come for lunch recently. She and I both had the grilled cheese and a house salad. The grilled cheese was heavenly, and salad was a good as well. Our server was super nice. The lower star rating has mostly to do with the patio area. It too has an excellent set up decor wise. Unfortunately I think we came during a bad time and some of my issues are out of their control. Nature is a bit too close to the eating area. I like watching birds but more at a distance. The geese like the area near the patio too much as well, ( unfortunately I don’t think they can do too much about it because of regulations) Suggestion: if it’s going to be a nice that day someone should hose off the patio before they open :) it wasnt bad but could have used a little freshening up. I only say that because I’m easily grossed out by little things. Nature. Is going to happen on outdoor patios regardless (especially over night) so I’m not unreasonable.

Not a great experience on Mother's Day. We had a reservation for 10 @ 5pm and were seated quickly but that turned out to be the only pleasant part of our visit. It took just under an hour to get us all our main courses and to a person, everyone's food was cold. If you are going to have to wait that long to be served there should be a reasonable expectation that the food would be served hot. The restaurant was not even as busy as it usually is so maybe they were short staffed, I don't know. There was also a very limited menu offered for Mother's Day which was a bit disappointing. Our family usually looks forward to dining at Mimi's but this experience was very disappointing and I'm not sure we will be going back.

Our biggest shout out goes to the manager on duty. Lauren checked up on us several times and was very active on the floor. As soon as we were walking to our seat we could smell propane very strong. We mentioned it to our waiter and he said he would let the manager know. After 15 min we mentioned it again and asked our waiter if he had said anything to the manager, he said no I haven’t yet. After 30 min most everyone at our table had a slight headache, burning eyes, and some were feeling nauseated. So we went and found the manager ourselves and she said they knew about the smell and it had been like that since she had started working there. Definitely not interested in taking my family back to a place that has some kind of propane leak that stinks up the whole restaurant and making people sick feeling.

I tried to give Mimi's a second chance but they fell short again. The place was dead so we though we would get seated instantly but staff only walked by and did not say anything. After a long wait someone came up and seated us, no "sorry or have you been waiting long". All we got was a follow me. Sat down and were ignored. Finally got someone over who took our order and then they disappeared. After another long wait they brought our orders and then left again....The last time we were in they gave us bread but this time nothing. When we finished a girl came over and asked if we wanted refills and since we were done with our meal we asked for the check and quickly paid and left. The food: French dip- the sauce tasted old, really salty and the meat was tough and tasteless. The hamburger- tasteless, needed seasoning and the bread was old and hard. No love went into the food at all. It was just churned out. Would not recommend. 2 tries and a bad experience both times.No wonder why it was empty.

Jordan was our server today, and he was just amazing! The servers never disappoint at mimis. My boyfriend ordered the citrus salmon, and it came out a bit underdone, it didnt take but a few mins before Jordan came to check on us. Jordan took one glance at the Salmon, and said "you don't even have to say anything, I'm so sorry about that!" even tho we had a little mishap with our food, I truly feel that the way Jordan handled it was perfect, His cheerful attitude and caring personality really made all the difference to us. Hate the change in menu for the quiche. It tasted good and cooked properly for a change. For the same price it no longer includes a salad and muffin, just 3 tomato slices. On my Vegas trip went to Mimi's and had the best server. Crystal is her name and she was a true jewel. She served us with smiles. Ordered the Salmon salad which was a nice cut of grilled salmon with beautiful lettuces, no romaine, and strawberries and tomatoes. Visiting from out of State. Our service was excellent. My husband ordered a burger which was good. I ordered a cup of French onion soup (which was good) and a sandwich. It was a ham sandwich with cheese melted on top and was supposed to have a mustard of some kind on it. It was terrible. Very dry. In fact the 3 bites I took of it I dipped in the soup in order to swallow it. Our waitress brought the check and told us the manager had taken the soup off our bill (ironically the least expensive item on the check); not the sandwich that was terrible and uneaten. Poor management move in my opinion. A good manager would have taken off the food that was poor quality and returned to the kitchen. Poor management is why establishments go out of business and can’t keep good help. There were only a handful of tables eating on a Friday night. Another sign of poor management

I should have read the reviews. I usually do but forgot this time . Service was super slow. My French dip was just cold roast beef on a roll. French onion soup was super salty. My friend had the tuna melt. She was not impressed. At least hers was edible. My chocolate parfait tasted exactly like my mom's chocolate Jello. We've been here many times before. But things have changed! Ordered dessert, waited and waited and dessert never came, but the brought the check and charged for the dessert. I pointed that out, they said the would have to ask manager how was "out". The assistant manager wouldn't take it off the bill as the server had left. Went to dinner with family today and was a bit disappointed. Four of our party of 10 wanted mussels and they were out. ( that was the main reason we chose to dine there) . One kids meal did not have a item ordered and had to pick something else . One order was to include fries and did not get them until we were done eating. They were very short staffed. Our poor server has 3 large parties to wait on in 2 different rooms. Our server did the best possible to take care of all the customers. I feel management should have made sure to have enough food to meet the demand of what is advertised. ..especially on a weekend. They also fell short on staffing the restaurant. Probably the worst experience we have ever had at this restaurant. Also, the AC was very cold. Our food wasn't very hot to begin with, and by the time our group was served it was cold.

Clean, comfortable restaurant. Soft music playing but not too loud so you could quietly visit. Efficient and friendly staff. We were seated right away and the waitress had our drinks to us within minutes. Hubby had the hibachi salmon. Salmon was cooked just right. It came with lots of fresh cooked veggies. I had the artichoke chicken. It also came with fresh cooked yummy veggies besides plenty of artichokes there was yellow squash, zucchini, brocolli, red peppers and onions. The homemade mashed potatoes were excellent. I was surprised at the amount of chicken there was...lots. Great price as we had a bogo coupon!!

Anytime I can order French onion soup, I will. As a result, I recognize a really great one. Mimi’s is a lighter broth in color full of a smooth almost buttery onion soup flavor. Just delightful! I paired it with a French dip. No chintzy meat and cheese here! Loaded ...and I mean loaded with meat, cheese, onions, mushrooms...and a stellar au jus. I had an extraordinarily personable and professional waitress named Doreen. She knew what I needed almost before I did. She didn’t blink no matter what I asked her for- just a big smile and a remarkable ability to make me feel like i’ve Known her for years. I watched her with other patrons and even her coworkers and was impressed with her ability with people. What a great meal and experience! Thanks Doreen!!

I’d give zero stars if that was an option. Place is a joke. Made reservations for 12pm on mother’s day. Took 1 hour and 15 minutes to be seated. Several groups who we had conversations with had reservations for as much as 30 minutes after us and were seated before. Terrible management. By the time we finally got a table we could no longer order the brunch menu that we came for. Should have walked out and never come back. Thanks for ruining a birthday and mother’s day. STAY AWAY!!

I was visiting from Australia and visited Mimi's cafe mostly for the advertised pumpkin creme muffin. We experienced the following: - We were told the pumpkin creme muffin was out. - The steak was missing the herb butter and our waitress forgot to bring it when asked. - When ordering dessert we chose the pumpkin pie cheesecake only for the waitress to let us know it was no longer on the menu. This was still advertised on all menus and we were not notified until we tried ordering it. - The molten lava cake was burned and had to be returned. - The restaurant was in need of repairs including broken, filthy tiles in the bathroom and a bench seat with a portion that sunk in. - As we walked out we got a big puff of cigarette smoke from an employee smoking near the entrance. I was happy with being able to call ahead to get on the waiting list. The food was fantastic from the French onion soup, steak, salmon, and new brisket mac and cheese. It was disappointing the experience was marred with poor service and we received no compensation for the multiple issues.

Nothing else to say except THIS PLACE IS A MUST GO IF YOU LOVE FOOD THAT IS HEALTHY BUT ALSO EXTREMELY DELICIOUS. They have all kinds of food options, from unhealthy to mid health all the way up to very healthy and calorie good options as well. Bread was soggy, and the cheese was just wadded up, on top of my 3/4 of an onion "soup". Don't waste your money on a $13 artichoke appetizer. Our waitress was Maria and she is amazing! Anyone who can strike up a conversation by reading the person really is a peoples person. She goes along with jokes if you were to come at her with one and she is very thorough in taking orders, making sure what you are ordering is what you really want. Not everything on the menu has a picture, but allow her to give you a visual of your order and you'll be enticed by what you hear. Even better,when your food arrives, you'll be glad you allowed her to share her knowledge. Everyone else is friendly and the atmosphere here is just like home! Pleasant atmosphere with nice background music at the proper volume level. You can actually hold a conversation. Menu was quite large with a good number of "new" and seasonal offerings. Food took a little while to be served but that was part of the French ambience. It also signaled to me that my food was prepared fresh. Now whether it was or not is another matter, but to me it tasted delicious and skillfully made. It was after the lunch rush so I would imagine the staff was a little off their game since our dishes were all still on the table after the meal was finished. I asked for a complimentary coffee. It was not very complimentary as it didn't say one nice thing to me plus it cost me $3.49. It was fresh and delicious though. Bathrooms were clearly marked as was the kitchen. The fixtures in both rooms were quite different. Ladies elegant and gents utilitarian. Leaving I walked through the restaurant and was surprised as to how large it was. Definitely a place I will visit again.

Last night we ate at Mimi’s on Stephanie. The food was delicious. I had the Honey glazed salmon and my husband had the Jambalaya. Mimi’s new menu has many excellent choices, though the vegetarian dishes are limited. Our server, Rafael, was a pleasant young man with a wonderful smile. He was professional, patient and attentive. He made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Since this last review my husband and I have been back to Mimi's several times. Though the last time we were disappointed in the music, as always the service and food were wonderful. I hope they go back to playing French music in keeping the ambiance.

Food was very slow coming out even though there were only three tables full when we got there at 9:30. Server kept our coffee filled with strong, great coffee while we waited. I was very happy with my selection, Santa Fe omelet with a berry muffin. The muffin was delicious; warm, stuffed with sweet berries with a tart, strawberry drizzle on top. Liked them so much, I ordered a 4 pack of muffins to go. Sister had less good experience. The stuffed French toast recipe changed since the last time we were there, to smaller portion with less cream cheese marmalade stuffing. There was barely a smear of stuffing which melted into the bread. You couldn't taste it & it doesn't match the photos. The stuffed French toast was the reason why we went to Mimi's. The manager made it a better experience by having the kitchen remake it & comped her order. That was very nice & changed my review from bad to average. Suggest you not schedule an appointment after breakfast & request the stuffed French toast be "stuffed" to where it oozes for the full taste!

We asked for a bread basket took him forever to bring it then he finally brought our appetizer took him forever to bring our order then we didn't see him again until he was taking some dishes away after eating took forever to bring us our check what should have only taken an hour to an hour and a half tops took us two and a half hours!
