I just hosted a bridal Shower at Briar Rose Bakery and I really had a great experience. They waited to cook our food until the perfect time so everything was warm, fresh, and delicious. They accommodated anything that I needed extra like plates, forks, boxes, ice, fruit water. The Location and environment is a great place to hold a shower of about 25. I will book here again.

I love this place! The cinnamon rolls are heavenly, and big too! They put a lot of delicious icing on them (which I love personally, but some of my friends think they put too much). The other baked goods and pastries they have here are gourmet as well. The decorations are also wonderful, it's incredibly cute, like walking into a cottage from a fairy tale. This is a local gem that is totally worth making a trip (or 10) to!

They kept forgetting our table's order/cinnamon rolls. Our friend had to ask for hers twice and I had to ask about mine along with my food. The place wasn't busy but the girls behind the counter were preoccupied making other items. By the time they pulled our cinnamon rolls all the frosting had been melted.

Went for the first time last week they have so many good looking things. I have to eat gluten free so the choices are a little more limited but they have plenty of things to choose from. I tried the blueberry coffee cake and the orange cranberry coffee cake and they were very good, I got the lemon almond tarts and those are out of this world they don't make them often so I would call ahead. Prices are a little on the higher side that's why I only gave it four stars, but the food is actually five star to me

Celebrated 4 birthdays in 1, for a total of 225. 4 cakes to make 1. 1 cake was carrot cake, 1 strawberry, 1 1 with raspberry and 1 vanilla. The cakes are amazing, moist, great flavor and they delivered. Wonderful staff!

I got the tomato mozz basil baguette which was about $12 all told. The menu seemed to say it would come with kettle chips, but I was given cut fruit instead. The sandwich was fair to good. One of the slides of tomato was just core which was unpleasant. Fairly small portion for the price. I also sampled a cinnamon roll which was truly exceptional. Everything is about $2 more than I'd like to pay. There don't appear to be any good value items on the menu. The atmosphere is excellent, gives fun Disbey/Grimm's fairy tale vibes. The display cases are full of picturesque pastries and cakes. 5/5 atmosphere 4/5 flavor 2/5 value

Sandwiches and soups at lunch, delicious. Saturday night pizza, delicious. If you're going there for the first time do not leave without having a cinnamon roll, they are so good it's like Angels are frolicking on your taste buds.

The atmosphere is very lively and fitting for a small town like Farmington. The service is quick and great. The food is delicious, although the prices are somewhat high. There's a breakfast and lunch menu with breakfast from open to 10:30 and lunch from 10:30 to close. They also have pastries available all day that are delicious. Keto pastries are served on Friday and Saturday, but they go fast due to their high demand. If you can't have their amazing bread for a lunch-time sandwich, they also serve lettuce wrap sandwiches, salads and soup. Tea orders come with a cup and small tea pot. There is also self-serve coffee available. Overall, a great place to spend breakfast/brunch on a Saturday.

The food is good and fresh specially when ordered from the menu. If you come in late morning, early afternoon and pick something from the display case, chances are it was made early that morning, and it's already cold. This place has a charming cottage feel to it, and it is the perfect place to meet with your girl friends and have brunch. The staff can sometimes be a bit rude, specially when they get busy, but the food is so good, you soon forget all about it. The pastries and desserts are delicious, and they serve reasonable sized portions. You can also buy artisan breads, which are so very tasty. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is pleasant enough to make you keep going back.

I usually only write positive reviews, but I needed to write this one based on my total disappointment. I received a menu from Briar Rose from a family member. The way the menu makes the place sound is the only good thing about this bakery/deli. I was mistaken when judging from the menu that the culinary offerings would be superior to other NWA breakfast destinations. The food was not fresh. We ordered a biscuit, which was hard and cold. The bacon was pre-cooked from earlier in the morning, so it had been sitting in the display for several hours. It's hard to ruin bacon, but leaving it sitting around is just sacrilege. There's no point to bacon if it's not fresh. The ham and cheese croissant was cold, and its ingredients, sub-par, as in crunchy ham and stale cheese. (There is a microwave there, which would not have helped, as microwaving stale food makes it even stiffer.) The house coffee dispenser was empty, as was the half-and-half. You have to keep watching the counter for your food to be put there, because they don't bring it to you or even call out your name. It's as if they had a really good idea, with interesting menu items and a neat facade to the building, but then they forgot to make the food taste good. It was all about the concept of having a cute name and unique facade, with absolutely ZERO emphasis on fare. I will never eat here again after this first experience. If you want a bakery or coffee, go to Rick's Bakery. If you want breakfast or deli, go anywhere but Briar Rose.

I contacted them 2 weeks prior to my engagement for a specialty cake. A staff member informed they would have someone else contact me to confirm cake could be done. I called 2 more times within a week and finally got to speak with Diane. She informed me she would have to speak with her head baker to confirm it could be done. I called back 2 days later and Diane said it could be done and would call back with specifics such as pricing and alterations of what I asked for. I called back 2 days prior to engagement and was informed Diane was on vacation til the day of my engagement and they had no way to get in touch with her. In addition, they informed none of the bakers had knowledge of this cake to be made. DIANE IS A LIAR!!!!
