We are Dutch Oven cooks in the Jasper Elk Festival each year. It is our yearly tradition to go to Blue Mountain for Sunday breakfast. It is certainly one of the highlights of our trip. The people there are so friendly and the food is so delicious! I highly recommend Blue Mountain Bakery & Cafe!

I only has a snack here, but the pecan bar was very good. The coffee was gourmet, but was good and not burnt. It have a very homey fell to the place. I will come again when i am in town.

Great food and great service. We came the last weekend in April 2018 and even thought it was very busy our server took care of us well and quickly. Food is A+. My wife is a fan of the pizza. I'd suggest a sweet on your way out, I got a cookie and it was huge! This is a great place to stop and eat in Jasper.

We stop here every time we travel trough this area. The bakery is amazing, but our favorite is the specialty pizzas. The Chicken Florentine is loved by our whole crew, including 3 kids. The service is great and the atmosphere is always wonderful.

We had the pizza here and and it was great. The crust was the best i have ever had. It took a little time to get it because everyone was ordering pizza, but well worth the wait. Our waitress treated us very well even though she was busy and they stayed open late for us. Will definitely stop here when in the area again.

Best omelettes I have eaten. Nothing but fresh cut and chopped ingredients. Ice cream is made locally and is the smoothest ever. Pulled pork and fresh baked goods are over the top. Being from South Louisiana, I know great food and this is it.

Stopped by here when I was passing through the area. Friendly and welcoming staff. Drinks were great and their ice cream is delicious! Really good scoop ice cream. Didn't have any of the pastries, but they looked tasty. They have a little shopping section for jams and jellies and that kind of thing.

Bad attitude, zero service.... I have never been to Jasper before, much less this eatery. No one greeted my sister & I as we entered, we looked around and finally decided that you must have to order at the front where there was several people in line that appeared to be placing orders. After several minutes in this line we saw a couple come in and pick up menus at the front counter and sit down. I asked the young girl at the counter if we were supposed to seat ourselves. With an eyeroll & huge sigh she said Yeeesssss….. We got menus & sat at a table asking each other what that look had been for.. We looked at the menu... decided on what to order... sat and talked... all the while with people being brought food, ice cream, dishes removed, the couple that came in before us we waited on.... No one ever acknowledged us for almost 20 minutes that we sat there. At that point we left & just went to Subway, where the ladies were super friendly & the wraps were awesome. Not sure what the problem is at the Blue Mountain Café...

This is a must-stop for me and my husband every time we are in the area. Definitely the best latte around. Lots of menu items are homemade from scratch. The owner puts a lot of love into this little Cafe and it shows!

What a gem! Lovely building, people, and the food! The cinnamon rolls and pumpkin rolls are delicious! Stopped for a to go breakfast of coffee and cinnamon rolls. After hiking, stopped back in for coffee mugs, shirts, and took desserts back to our cabin! The next morning my husband and I stopped again for a big country breakfast of eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy! Yummmm! We're going to need to do some more hiking! This place is a definite favorite! You will not be disappointed!

I was in town to climb and we decided to stop by this place instead of Ozark Cafe it was a great decision. Delicious food and breakfast options! wonderful people great atmosphere! If you're a tourist I recommend stopping by here for sure.

Small and intimate setting. Beautiful and you have to try their cinnamon roll frenchtoast.... It's seriously made from cinnamon rolls made there! Sooooooo delicious! Only 4 stars because there is always room for improvement. Something can always be better.

We absolute loved visiting this place. It will be the only restaurant that we visit twice on out trip to the area and may visit a third time before we leave. My wife is a chef and we rarely find a place that we fall in love with. Do yourself a favor and leave room for the desert called "The Thing" and you can thank me later.

Omg guys! I'm from out of town. My family and I came out to camp on the buffalo for a couple days and had an amazing time. Our last day we were headed out of town and decided to stop at this joint for a bite to eat! Let me just say, EVERYTHING WAS PHENOMENAL!!!!! This is one of those hole in the wall small town places where everything is made from scratch with an authentic southern touch! The service was awesome the environment was friendly and down home and the food was so mouth watering good! If you're looking to fill a sweet tooth I recommend their homemade ice creams or there cast iron cooked cobbler! I had a homemade hand battered chicken tender plate with potato salad and topped it off with homemade strawberry ice cream. They told use they source their produce from local farmers too! I can't express how truely satisfied we were with this spot! A definite A++++++ recommend to all!!

When we walked in, no one greeting us so we took a seat. It took 10 minutes before the waitress came over and brought us menus. She looked like she didn't want to be there and wasn't very friendly. She came back and ask us what we wanted to drink and so we decided to go ahead and order as well. Their prices on their menu are very high but I thought with the good reviews it would be worth it. So we ordered a hamburger basket and chicken strip basket and some appetizers. It took over 40 mins to get the appetizers and 50 mins for the rest of the food when we was the only ones in the resturant. The appetizers had so much pepper and spicy season, my mouth was on fire. The burger tasted like soybean patty, no flavor and dry. The chicken was also dry as well. Maybe their desserts are awesome but we was really disappointed in the food and the service we received. Maybe the waitress was having a bad day but not sure if we will be back.

Fantastic place for a hot breakfast and a smile. We were first in the door and everything we had was delicious. The place just felt like a good time and everyone was friendly. They had local jams, jellies, and honeys, as well as pickled assortments. Great stop during our hiking trip!

We travel Scenic 7 frequently and have found that Blue Mountain Bakery and Deli has the BEST food, hands down, of any place we've ever eaten! They also sell organically grown veggies and fruits, and their own canned applesauce is AWESOME. I ordered a brisket sandwich from their deli menu...it was the BEST brisket I have ever had!! It was moist, tender and cooked to perfection with not too much or too little seasoning and sauce. PERFECT!! They also have a bakery with HUGE homemade muffins that you just cannot find any better anywhere! I highly recommend them! Definitely worth the stop!

The coffee was good, but the dessert was really disappointing especially after seeing the enticing display. It looks like a really cute hometown place when walking in. The desserts are displayed so adorably, you think you're going to get something unforgettably good. The cinnamon roles were dry. The muffin we ordered tasted as if they left the sugar/flavoring out. It was like eating a plain dough baked into the shape of a muffin. If it wasn't for the coffee, I would have to give no stars. We didn't however try the food, but after this, we're a little skeptical. They really should live up to their presentation.
