This bakery has been around since before my time; it was the best when I was a kid getting their tasty fried pies, and it's still the best. Fried cinnamon rolls, scrumptious doughnuts, full breakfast menu (yummy!), coffee, milk, juice, etc... Love it!

The best donuts and pastries in town. Biscuits and gravy and breakfast sandwiches too. Have your order ready when you get there because service moves fast! I have eaten here for 40 years or more and have never had a bad item. Everything is GREAT!

Batten's has, by far, the best donuts. I've had other across the US, even some others have said are the best, and none of them compare to Batten's. The fried pies are amazing, they have hot breakfast foods. Service is always quick, and the employees are friendly. They have been a staple in Paragould for over 50 years and I expect them to be here many more.

I go here nearly everyday and the donuts are best donuts ever and I've been through 6 states they're the holy Grail of donuts especially when they're fresh and they're amazing to have on a trip to say a baseball game so if you can I recommend going and trying battens donuts

Wow, what a gem of a bakery! We stopped in our way through to Nashville for a quick bite and a good cup of coffee. The breakfast biscuits were homemade and exceptional. Nothing like a McDonalds biscuit. We even got a pastry to go. This place rocked it.

I have been eating here since I was a small child. The doughnuts are to die for, the people are friendly, and they have the best bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit I have ever eaten. I look forward to every time I'm back in town so that I can get some Batten's! Word to the wise: get the old-fashioned chocolate fried pie. It's indescribable.

Awesome Regular Glazed Donuts!! The best in town to my family. When we first moved here only donut shop I've ever had was daylight donuts, but it didn't take long to realize this place was the real deal for sure! Love at first bite, Seriously! They have everything anyone would want for breakfast. Nice and very friendly staff as well. Our family favorites is the glazed donuts. They have the option of drive thru window if your in a hurry or going inside to sit and eat and visit for a while. Best donut shop in town in my opinion..Definitely give them a 5 star rating.Bless and Make Beautiful Memories!

I was a steady customer. Then I went one time and received a coffee with a fly in it. By the time I noticed i had drank half of the coffee, I opened it to add some sugar. They offered to replace it, but at that point I was turned off to the business. I'm not sure what steps they take to insure proper servsafe operations. I will never go back there.
