This is a shabby, tiny little cafe with seating only outside in a gravelly yard littered with junk and weeds. BUT...the sandwiches. They are a tribute to meats and freshly baked bread. Every element is perfection. Call in your order and take these fabulous treats home to the comfort of your dining room. You will not be disappointed.

They have a limited menu but what they have they do well. Their sandwiches are delicious and huge. Their bread is homemade and the loaves are about 3x the size of a normal loaf. Great selection if choices for you sandwich fillings. We had a bowl of their Beef Chili Soup as we had just finished a mountain tour and were cold. It was wonderful and hit the spot. Will definitely return if we are in the area again.

These have to be the best sandwiches I've ever had oh my gosh the portions are huge and the ingredients are fresh. AMAZING!! I told my daughter that we need to take a road trip just to go here, really if you are in Sedona at lunch time you can't pass it up. I did the vegetarian and my husband did the roast beef one day and the turkey club another and both were awesome. We took two days into Sedona and didn't even give another place a try. We were told to try this place by one of the shop owners and boy were we glad. I believe this is a little hidden gold mine for Sedona. If you make it there don't miss out on a sandwich surprise, they are all the same price and I wish I could of got their bread recipe because it made the sandwiches!!

Sandwiches getting very expensive. Turkey meat is deli turkey with preservatives, but delicious. Sandwiches still very good. DO NOT GIVE RECEIPTS. They ROUND OFF Tax MONEY -, not good business practice therefore does the customer pay more tax or does the business lose tax money? They close too early 2:00 pm and not opened weekends. Not fond of that at all. Their choice, but they lose a lot of business

I was super happy when this tiny sandwich shop opened up. The Pink Jeep Tours guide building is two doors away and it made life so much nicer when I could get a good lunch and enjoy it pronto. Large sandwiches with fresh ingredients = nirvana.

Following the old adage of when in doubt ask a local, we asked the young woman who ran a local candle shop where she goes for lunch. Without hesitation she directed us to Sedona Memories Cafe, located on Jordan Road, which runs parallel to the main street. Since there's plenty of free parking lots in Sedona, you'll no doubt walk close to this cafe as you browse your way through the city. Thankfully, the candle lady also told us that she and her co-workers split the sandwiches because they're so big. She was correct on all counts! Sedona Memories Cafe is a classic hole in the wall place serving large, creative sandwiches on out-of-this-world bread they bake themselves at very reasonable prices. My girlfriend and I split one and it was plenty. And it's especially nice to add that the people who run the place are extremely nice and friendly! There's so much to enjoy and marvel at in Sedona, and I consider this one of the man-made wonders!

If you enjoy homemade sandwich bread, fresh homemade sandwich fillings, great service and a quirky atmosphere, this is the place. Their sandwiches are SO big that you can share them with someone else. BUT they are so tasty that you will want to eat it all yourself. A secret not known by most people is that if you call and order your sandwich ahead of time you will get a free homemade cookie! And yes, the cookies are just as fabulous! It's not the easiest place to find and they have funny hours, but trust me you will NOT be disappointed!

My two kids and I got a bunch of sandwiches (one ham, one salad, one turkey) from Memories Bakery before hitting Devil's Bridge trail. Now, my kids normally only eat sandwiches when that's the only thing left and they are super-hungry, but not only did they finish their sandwiches at lunch, they keep asking where we can find sandwiches like these back where we live in CA.

Excellent! The owner recommended the special that day, the Pot Roast Italian Beef on a roll. Loads of juicy, nicely seasoned beef, with sauteed red peppers, onions, and celery, on a very good roll. Each bite was fantastic, and I ate more than I thought I would, just because it was too good to stop eating it. My brother ended up finishing mine, as it was too good for him to leave any leftovers. All other sandwiches that we saw looked equally good, as did their variety of breads. Highly recommended. Tell the owner that the Jersey brother's sent you (although, he knows we're from Philly). He's a great guy to talk with.

Sedona Memories is CASH only and parking is tough. Restrooms are the Sedona public restrooms across the street. All of that said, the sandwiches are very, very good, if not awesome. It is probably best for 2 normal people to share a sandwich - they are BIG! We'll be back.....

The sandwiches are delicious and a great price for the amount you get. There is plenty of seating for visitors, though locals tend to get it to go. It's all served with humor. If you are nearby make sure you go! One thing to note is that some sandwiches and desserts sell out quickly. Get there early! If they sell out they will close up shop.

This restaurant always proves to be a great experience. Imagine if the Soup Nazi had a sense of humor, then you're just scratching the surface of the owner. The food is amazing, the portions are large enough to share, and the ambience is bizarrely fun. If you want any of the baked items, get there early cuz once they're gone, they're gone. We travel 140 miles one way to get a sandwich here. Ask any of the locals and they will agree ... Best sandwiches around. One word of caution, cash only.

Small off the strip shop that has a small but wonderful menu. It is a local shop which is only open until 2 pm. Sandwiches are on homemade bread and very large, great for sharing. A bonus is some great cookies and reasonable prices.

WORST SERVICE EVER! I have grown up eating at Sedona Memories, worked it uptown Sedona all the way through High School. I literally have gotten a sandwich there at least twice a week for years. Decided, since I was in town and I no longer live in Sedona, to call in an order and go pick it up. I know the owner by voice, so I was actually excited to hear him on phone. Wanted to order two sandwich, one for myself and my boyfriend, but the excitement was short lived. I have never in my life have someone be so rude on the phone. I wanted to order a roast beef sandwich, and modify the toppings, but he kept reminding me that there were "30 people in line" so basically I need to speed up. 1) I have been to his shop, on a busy day and there are NEVER 30 people lined up in front of the little house. Maybe 15 people eating, and 10 people in line, but come on. 2) They were out of a lot of items that go on the sandwiches, so not my fault if we asked for avocado, and they are out, that it takes one moment to see if my boyfriend wanted something else instead. I had him on speaker in front of my boyfriend and my Mom and I have never been so insulted or disappointed, especially since if I had gone and bought the sandwich in person, he would have recognized me in person, and probably had a different attitude. Is he is rude to tourists and nice to locals? Is it okay to be so rude on the phone when people have been loyal customers for most of their childhood? Decent food, but not worth the headache.

Hidden gem. Huge sandwiches with bread they baked that morning. Sandwiches had a good inch thick of roast beef or turkey. Has won multiple local awards for food. Slightly off the beaten path but just one block away from the main drag in up town Sedona. Value over a chain like Subway is significant. Don't miss this special local favorite. You'll save money and get a better sandwich.

I read about this place on Pinterest and it's as fabulous as the pinner indicated. Their sandwices are huge (I wasn't prepared for that), I could only eat a quarter of it and I was starving! I got the veggie and it was stuffed with lettuce, cucumbers, carrots, cream cheese and a cranberry spread. So good!!! I took mine to go to eat in a park and my only complaint was that it wasn't very easy to eat on the go. You need to sit at a table to thoroughly enjoy this sandwich! Did I mention its inexpensive too? This huge sandwich was only $8.95 and seriously could have fed two people easily!

In my opinion the bread makes the sandwich, but of course fresh cold cuts and ingredients do to. I was a tour guide that would regularly go through Sedona. Every time i stopped in Sedona i got sandwiches for all my guests at Sedona Memories. everyone loved them literally everyone! he has a variety of fresh baked breads and they are all amazing. Don't just take my opinion as gospel but the opinion of hundreds of tourists i had taken through there.

I send my guests there because the sandwiches are 4” tall and can totally be shared by two people. The bread is baked that morning and when the store runs out of bread, they close down, usually around two pm. Not usually open on weekends though, which leaves me and my Sat-Sunday guests hungry!

Loved the turkey sandwich on whole wheat bread!! My dad enjoyed the Italian sandwich. I had planned to go on a Sunday, but they were only open M-F, so I came back Monday. There was no bathroom for customers to use. It is cash only, so make sure to bring cash!!

Upon visiting Sedona for the day, my family and I were delighted by this small sandwich shop. We weren't too hungry that day, so we ordered one Italian sandwich to share - it was enormous, freshly made, and super satisfying. Definitely enough for the three of us to share as sort of a mid-day snack. My dad, who can sometimes be a bit of a critic, said he would have given the café 6/5 stars if he could. Highly recommend!
