Best carmel apple pie around

Delicious pies by the slice or whole a little bit pricey $7 a slice or $27 for a pie but delicious if you're willing to spend the money

Absolutely delicious!

Luvs me some Pie Snob! I was so pleased by the transition of Pie Snob from an in home baker to having their own retail location. This is a must stop place for great pie in the East Central Phoenix area. As their popularity has grown, they are also offering their pie at O.H.S.O. Brewery, Bertha’s Café, Black Cat Coffee, Tavern Americana, and others. Pie Snob has a Weekly Menu which has a few set standards as well as seasonal and traditional offerings. Their Mixed Berry and Key Lime pies shouldn’t be missed!

Best strawberry rhubarb pie I've ever had. I look forward to trying their cream pies next. Small place, not great to eat "in" but you'll have a hard time not to eat it right there.. they're delicious!

Kinda expensive, rich pie.

I'm in phoenix today so I decided to run around trying a couple sweetly shops. The pie here is great. I picked up a slice of their chocolate special and it was everything I wanted. I got a water bottle with it and well I was confused by the design on the top. I've never seen a water bottle with that kind of top before

Greg Chaisson

Pie was excellent, customer service sucked. We were the only customers in the place and they couldn’t of cared less. Their slogan is “life is too short to eat bad pie” but my new slogan is “life is too short to get pie where they have crappy service”. We won’t be going back.

Nicholas Johnson

Ok. This place is so tight. We got the strawberry rhubarb and it was so good. Crispy crust with lots of flavor and the filling is so good. They will basically make whatever pie you want in advance too.

Lisa McFate

I don't usually write a poor review, but I called on Friday to order a razzelberry pie for my sister's bday dinner on Monday. They told me I didn't need to order they would have that pie on Sunday when I was picking up. Got there no razzelberry pie

Wayne Water

Great pie and fast in and out service when ya get there early, as pie slices are first come, first serve. You can ALWAYS order ahead and get whatever you want, but then again, it HAS to be season! These people are Pie Snobs and don't do no canned filling!

I went out of my way to find Pie Snob but ended up at someone's lawn in a residential area. I was expecting a fancy pie shop but I was wrong. I was definitely not going to knock on someone's house door to ask if this is a pie shop. I am sure they may have wonderful pies but be sure to call ahead or something to get your pie? If they had signs to a direct house I didn't see it. Hope this helps you-

Can't stop eating their chocolate cream pie...

The buttermilk pie was ok it was too custardy not your average southern pie and they don't have sweet potatoe pie which sucks. My wife was not too happy we eventually tossed it. Otherwise it a cozy place some of their other pies looks good but we'll see if we return as we are looking for the wow factor so we can buy whole pies...still looking

Incredible pie and great service.

It's amazing - a must try. Not sure if it's on occasion but they also had cinnamon rolls

James Lovejoy

Had the apple crumb and it was delicious! The place is small with limited seating but and located in a small strip mall. For me it's all about the pie.

Cockatoo For You

What a wonderful little shop. You could literally walk by this place and never notice it was here but you probably couldn't walk by this place because the wonderful odors and smells of the pies would draw you right in. But of course if you're driving by your deafly never get a chance to smell how great these pies are. I was walking by and I just could not stop because the smell of freshly baked Apple cinnamon pie had me hooked. The local business which I appreciate and amazing wonderful pies that you will absolutely love. The people who work here are extremely nice and friendly and I will keep coming back for more because this is one great place to go for a pie.

I come for the cheesecake, a new one each week. Best anywhere. Apple crumb pie also delicious. Highly recommended.

Bret Henderson

Great pie. Strawberry rhubarb is the best!

Ocean Lyons

Fabulous pie! I would tend to pass on pie because I’m usually disappointed. Not the case, here! After visiting Alaska Pride Seafood next door for some amazing fish, I picked up a few random slices for dessert. The apple, chocolate cream, key lime, and cherry were fantastic! We have since been back and tried the caramel apple, pink lemonade cheesecake, and chocolate again, of course. Delectable!

My boyfriend is the FedEx Ground delivery person for the area that Pie Snob is in. I asked him for a list of bakeries that are in that area that I could use for birthday treats for my work. Pie Snob was one of the bakeries he said was worth a try. I ordered 7 (yes 7) pies for our office birthday treats for the month of June. I ordered (2) banana cream, peach, coconut cream, brownie, and (2) caramel apple. ALL of them were perfect! They have a rustic beauty of being homemade. Traci was amazing to deal with. I would ABSOLUETLY recommend Pie Snob. I haven't seen anyone get so excited for birthday treats. I guess they were tired of cupcakes. We will be ordering from here again! Great job Traci!

Brett Dixon

amazing pies!! you can taste the freshness of the fruits. highly recommend the apple pie but you cant go wrong with the razzleberry or the Mississippi Mud.

Mark E

Everything we've tried has been excellent but the Mississippi mud pie is unbelievable

The. Best. Pies. We got the Green Chile Apple and the Key Lime for my birthday last week. They were both excellent. The key lime tasted fresh and zingy without being too sour or sweet. My family is split 50/50 with adventurous eaters and simple minded munchers. We figured the green chile apple would be a bust for some but EVERYONE had a piece and liked it just as much as the key lime. It's not loaded with peppers but rather the chile spice brought out the cinnamon flavor. My mother picked up the pies and said the woman at the counter was very nice... Also, best crust ever. Do not go to Rock Springs for pie. Stay in town and enjoy a better pie. p.s. we'll be back for father's day.

Caramel Apple Pie = 5/5 Pumpkin Pie = 5/5 Sweet Potato Pie = 4/5 Banana Cream Pie = 4.5/5 Coconut Cream Pie = 4.5/5 The "Cream" on top of any cream pie = 6/5 (drools....) We don't even bother looking elsewhere for our holiday pies. The hardest part is trying to force ourselves to try some of her many other pies! All are thick, filled with fresh fruits and creams, insanely good and made with love. We first discovered Pie Snob a few years ago when she was still hustling pie orders out of her home. Love the little shop, great location in Arcadia. Will be considering birthday pies for my kids' birthdays this year!

YUM!!

Even on busy Pi day, all the pies were warm, perfectly made, and SO tasty!

Nichole Sanders

Great pie strawberry rhubarb, and caramel apple are delicious

Traci Wilbur

To Xavier's review: this is Traci the owner of Pie Snob. Our hours are always listed on our website as well as our voice mail. Pie Snob Bakery is a SPECIAL ORDER Bakery. We are not a Pie Shop. Special order means you email or call us with your request and we schedule a pick up day/time. All this is outlined on our website and voice mail. At the time of his visit we were closed for the holidays and again, this was posted on our website and voice mail.

So good! Key lime is my fave!.. My aunt buys from here all the time and it never disappoints.

Ashlie Maloy

I had the apple pie and it was tasty. I would like to see more of a variety.

I love pie so I wanted to try this out. Got 1 coconut cream slice and 1 apple crumble. Ate in. Friendly girl behind the counter. 4 stars vs 5 for 2 reasons. First, there was a long hair on the small table when we started to sit which I'm sure the girl behind the counter just hadn't seen yet. (It happens). We switched tables. Second, the coconut cream was very delicious but too sweet with graham cracker crust. Sooo much better with the crust I broke off the piece of apple pie to eat with the coconut cream. Apple Crumble was delicious. Bought one to go as well and one peach pink lemonade, that review will have to wait.

Jose Figueroa

Best pies hands down.

Eric McKinley

Delicious selections!

Bobby Cthulu

All the pies are number one. Do not even let people know you're even driving by or you'll have to buy a pie.

Brenda Stritenberger

Judith Kunkel

I think the Pie Snob's pies are the best ever. The crust is flakey and the fillings are delicious. I don't think you could go wrong with any pie you order.

Raymond Ortiz

Had purchased an Apple Pie with Crumb for my boss. She Loved It...and so did my co-workers. Will be looking at purchasing pies here from now on

Kelly Crist

I had heard so many wonderful things about this shop and the food... We decided to stop in late one evening after some drinks and grab a slice and it was so good! The shop is small and a little 'ho-hum' but the pie is great! I'm partial to cherry and pecan and i tried the latter and it was so... wow. You gotta try it, reallly.

Kyron Decker

Hard to find pie shops in Phoenix but this one is superb.

Martina B

Pie to die for and sincerely friendly service

Bill McComas

Probably the best chocolate pie I've had. Absolutely delicious.

Roberto Menchu

Not only are the pies excellent but they even open the door a few minutes early because they saw that there was an extensive line out front because it was the day before Thanksgiving. It’s a personal experience it’s a wonderful pie I highly recommend this place.

Ida Olson Horning

I received a "pie as a gift" from my newphew. He brought the peach pie to me after he ordered it ahead & picked it up. Probably the very best peach pie I have ever tasted!!!

Andi Couet

This is probably my favourite pie shop in town. I highly recommend the apple crumble pie. Parking can be a little tricky but the pie is worth it.

Markus Petropoulos

We were really bummed about our experience tonight.. We opted out of dessert at the restaurant we dined at so we could come try Pie Snob for our first time. We came in at 7:20 and the person working seemed so annoyed that we had come in 40 minutes before closing, she told us (and the couple who came in after us) in multiple ways that they close at 8 making both us and the other couple feel that we had to say we'd eat fast even though we still had a full 30 minutes until closing. The whole experience from start to finish was very uncomfortable and made us feel unwelcome. We're big pie people and we felt like we couldn't enjoy our dessert because it was so awkward in there. Really disappointing.

P. Hyphen

So so so good! I had the apple caramel pie. It was heavenly! I have to put it thru the final test and get the keylime pie because that’s one of my favorites. But I’m sure it’s bomb just like the apple.

My wife and I eat a lot of desserts (no shame) so when we drove by and saw a place called pie snob we thought "they better be good with a name like that." And boy are they. Wow. We got a 4 slices of four types of pie and each time we agreed that was the best pie of that type we've ever had. These pies are so good. If I had 10 million dollars id give this lady 1 million to open a larger place. And of course feed me pie forever.

Kristian Weckman

I am writing this review because I was encouraged to do so by a disgruntled employee that I encountered today as my first visit to this establishment. I guess not only the pies are "snobs" but that goes to the attitude of the unprofessional personnel employed there. With arrogant defiance, she said to "Go ahead and write a bad review! It's my last day here, so I don't care!" The hostility I encountered was cheered on by the manager as I was in disbelief of how I was being treated. I called first, as I had questions regarding the location and just to make sure it was open today. The call was done practically two minutes away from getting there as I was by the Bosa Donuts parking lot. When I arrived the parking lot was empty and when I entered the store two young ladies were SITTING behind the counter and there were no customers inside. I entered and just let them know it was my first visit and that I was wanting to know if they sold pies by the slice (as in their Instagram page which I follow gives you both options). "Sydney," said that they did not have any pies by the slice because of the Holidays and right from the get-go she was super rude. I asked them why they did not answer the phone as I had traveled from a distance and that could have saved me the trip. Well, that did not sit well with this angry employee and started telling me that they had sold "hundreds of pies today" It was noon and they open at 10:00 am - slight exaggeration. When I questioned her attitude, she told me that "If I did not like it I could leave." I was in complete disbelief as there was another girl there (Mandy) and she proceeded to inform me she was the manager and did not defuse the situation at all! I asked for the owner's information and she said that she would not be back until January 8th but as you can imagine I could not wait until then to let the owner know of the unprofessional conduct of your employees. I went in to buy some pies but what I got was a whole lot of attitude. The moral of the story here is that you should not always support local businesses if this is the sort of behavior they are going to display to the customers in our community. Thank you, AJ's and Wholefoods, for providing your customers with dignity and respect when visiting your establishments. This is the reason why local businesses are swallowed up by greater and bigger corporations.

Very nice girl waited on us.

Dale Kikta

Was not as good as expected. Planned on sitting down having a piece of pie but it was put in a box even though me and my wife were discussing eating there in front of the oblivious girls. We took it to go.

Evan Mackie

Excellent service and wonderful pie.

I liked the worker, she was friendly and smiled when you spoke to her, and gave us a good price for the pie. The pie was a big piece plus very tasty!

I had to find a coconut cream pie (My dad's all time favorite) for my dad's birthday and it had to be spectacular. Pie snob didn't let us down. The owner was very lovely and her little bakery in the back of her backyard was so charming and quaint. She has signs directing you from her front yard to her shop in the back. It had such a homey vibe to it and you just feel at home upon arrival. The pie was pure heaven. I normally hate coconut cream pies, but this one was absolutely delicious. The whole family enjoyed it and we will be ordering pies from there all the time now!!!

If I could give this place negative Stars I would. It was the worst pie I've ever had. The server was wearing a fuzzy jacket and did not wear gloves when dishing the pie. The pie was dry and had some filmy stuff under the top of the crust. The tea tasted old, the coffee she tried to serve me was cold and the fresh pot she brewed was bitter. We were excited to find this place only to be disapointed. It cost us $15+ for a small coffee medium tea and 2 slices of pie that we couldn't even finish.

Shalethia Figueroa

Awesome apple crumb pie!

Willo

Pies are great, but the customer service kills the experience! Website is challenging-and they won't take the time to take orders when you phone directly. Weird.

Alberto Pulido

The pies are always delicious however, their customer service is absolutely horrible. When my work has a function, often times, my team will ask me to bring a pie from pie snob. Well, in the past I guess that I made arrangements for an early pick up. This time I ordered online and found that they do not open until 10:00am. Well, this is not convenient at all. I need to pick the pie up on my way to the office. Well, I knocked on the glass at 9:00am, there were 2 women on the store, it was obvious that they were unloading stuff through the back door. Well, I asked, through the glass, if I could pick my pie up. The woman with the brown hair was cranky and unkind and she just shook her had no, no, no. I literally sat in my car in front of the store for 40 minutes. I then knocked on the door again, this time a blonde woman opened the door. I told her that I had a pie ordered and paid for that should be ready for pick up. She explained that they had just unloaded the pies, I guess they are not baked there. She took my name and several minutes later she brought me my pie. Honestly, they always make me feel like I should feel honored that I have the opportunity to buy a $26.00 pie. Well, we do enjoy the pies but, I believe that I shall start looking for other delicious pies in the valley. So sad, these people make one feel absolutely terrible. The employees are borderline abusive.

Art Perea

Nice and friendly

Philip Nick

I've been there a few times but the pies are way too tasty and my scale says I can only go once in a while. Seriously their selections are amazing with quality ingredients. By the slice or whole pie. A very happy place.
