I recently got married a few weeks ago and Eva and her girls made my cupcakes. They delivered them and set them up beautifully! Everyone absolutely loved them! They were so pretty and tasted SO good. I had so many guests asking me who made them. I couldn't have been more happy with the cupcakes. Eva was wonderful to work with on picking out how to decorate and frost the cupcakes. I hate giving bad reviews so the positive was the customer service was good and the girl behind the counter was very nice. The negative was that the sweet potato cupcake I had was very dry. It tasted as though the cake was old but fresh icing was added to mask it. The icing was good though. The cupcake was overpriced in my opinion. Definitely not worth $4. Maybe I came in on the wrong day but I figured Saturday would be the best day. Not impressed.

Fun. Just... fun. The daily specials menu was delightful, and the staples they carry regularly appeared just as awesome. The fact that Eva herself popped out of the kitchen to make recommendations and joke with her customers was also a plus on the service side. Outstanding experience.

The frostings on the 6 i got was 2" of lard. The cake on the were drt and dense. The only one that was good was the carrot cupcakes. I WOULD NOT recommend this at all.

The business is small and simple but clean. We came up from the peninsula all excited to try it and were thoroughly disappointed. They had a decent variety, probably 7-8 flavors. They looked good and were displayed well but overall I was very disappointed. 4 cupcakes was $15 and they were very dry and absolutely nothing special. They were also normal muffin size. I guess i was expecting the big cupcakes. My 2 kids, 3 and 4 years old, wouldn't even finish theirs. They both got the birthday cake with sprinkles. I decided to finish my sons, but couldn't my daughters. Mine was banana cream. I will never go back and would not recommend this to anyone. I wish I would have commented on my displeasure but decided to just keep my mouth shut. Save your money and go to Fred Meyers and get a six-pack for $5. More cupcakes for less money and will taste better. I've heard the Sugar Spoon on Spenard Rd. is much better.

Cupcakes are to die for... my wife and kids loved the chocolate cupcakes. The kids also liked the apple topping one. The staff are all kind and warm hearted. They are very busy on holidays so prepare to wait. They baked the dozen I wanted while I waited. Highly recomend this cupcake bakery.

As much as I’d love to love this place, I can’t. We’ve given it multiple tries and it’s continuously under par. The cupcakes are dry and over priced! Don’t let the cute decorating fool you. On a good note she has great customer service, but that’s about the only positive thing I have to say.

Really, really wanted to like this place. I’ve given it a few tries, but the cupcakes are always priced above their quality. We paid $15 for a 4 pack of day old cupcakes that were extremely dry. I would have been really upset if we had paid $40+ for the dozen cupcakes of that quality. If you go here, you need to get a guarantee that the cupcakes are FRESH.

Hands down and without a doubt, the absolute best cupcakes in Anchorage. Incredibly tasty and beyond sinful. Broad flavor range - we LOVE the sweet potato cupcakes. And their red velvet cupcakes are succulent. Oh, and the frosting - light but yet creamy. Y U M!!!! And Eva and her husband are tremendous people!

Eva's is hands down, THE BEST, place to satisfy your sweet tooth!! The store is clean and the staff are very warm and helpful!! There is another review claiming that the size is too small....if you want QUANTITY over quality, than sure, go to Fred Meyer. However, if you want truly gourmet delicious, choose Eva's!!! I LOVE giving them as gifts and "thank yous" because the recipients love them and I get to look "top shelf." Thanks Eva's!!

I got married in July, and Eva's made my gluten-free cake and two batches of gluten-free cupcakes (one batch, vanilla; the other, chocolate) for the reception. Eva went above and beyond in making me a beautiful, simple, and delicious cake, and amazing cupcakes for our guests! You couldn't even tell they were gluten-free. :) She is such a warm, loving, caring person who is passionate about helping people through her baking; she made our wedding planning experience so tasty and friendly!

We were very disappointed with the lack of customer service, we interrupted their gossip session to ask for assistance. The floors, tables and chairs were dirty. Honestly, the cupcakes looked and tasted like store bought-boxed cake mix and frosting.
