I have known Scott for several years now and have consulted with him many times regarding employment law matters. I work for a law firm that does not handle employment cases. When someone with an employment law issue contacts our firm we refer them to The Blankenship Law Firm. Because Scott and his team are the best!! I believe that many of the poor reviews that are posted about this firm are fiction written by someone who was disappointed when Scott refused to represent them. Unfortunately many people don't like being told that they don't have a case or that their case is not worth as much as they like to think it is. It's too bad that they can't accept reality and instead feel the need to sling mud at a firm that gave them an honest assessment of their case. Scott Blankenship and his team have done so much to help so many people. Scott is an excellent attorney and an honest man. I strongly recommend The Blankenship Law Firm.

I was a member of an employment case and I was represented by the Blankenship firm. I was a seasoned employee with lots of experience with the company I worked for. For that reason, I was called by the firm to answer some question to help support the case. I was impressed with their attention to detail and their follow up questions in order to understand what I was saying and validate it against other interviews. They were kind, polite, and completely professional. In the end they won the case for us and all the payouts were very fair. I never felt like they were working only for their own payout at the end. They will bill you for their meals and take almost 70% of your settlement if you get one. Find a place that helps you and does not take everything from you after you were already hurt by your employer.

When I was abruptly terminated without cause, I knew it was grossly unfair and I had to fight it. But I didn’t know where to begin—my reputation was ruined and most people I approached, both professionally and socially, looked at me with suspicion and disdain. Since I was fired from a large, powerful, popular Catholic healthcare system, colleagues and friends thought that I must have done something terrible to deserve termination. My husband and I were referred to this firm as being THE employment attorney firm in Seattle. After a mishap with my spouse's previous employer we decided to look into pursuing legal action. Once we reached out to Blankenship Law we were paired with a preliminary fact finding attorney to determine the logistics and whether or not we had a strong case or anything worth pursuing from a legal standpoint. The gentleman we were connected with lacked any follow through and showed no interest in obtaining a new client - the first step was to speak to several witnesses. After numerous failed attempts to connect them we have given up. We have sat with the witness, phone ready at numerous designated times when we were to receive a phone call and got none. This man's inability to make a brief 10 minute phone call at a scheduled time does not speak well of how this firm operates and runs their business. Each time the phone call never came as scheduled by their attorney, we were lucky to even get a follow up explaining why. At one point we were told it was because he lost his phone. Unimpressive to say the least. We will be taking this very large and profitable lawsuit elsewhere. Their loss.

Then on top of it, Imagine your settlement being less then $1 a day after all your pain and suffering? That's what I got while Scott took the rest. Read his fine print and find an honest attorney. Keep looking for an attorney that has your best interest at hand, you will not find it here. Scott drags cases on and charges you as a client for everything. You have to pay for him to eat lunch and dinner on your case as well. I would never recommend this law firm to anyone.
