*****READ BEFORE HIRING THIS LAW FIRM!!!!****** In november I contacted the Dubin law firm about a car accident case that happened out of state. Mr. Dubin called and SEEMED quite knowledgable about the situation, asked if I was willing to litigate if necessary. I advised Mr. Dubin that the company was investigating the incident…he signed me up. He received a letter dated in November, from the investigator, that he has had on file since. So after SIX months, I get an email that my case is being dropped because I am being investigated and it needs to go to court and Mr. Dubin is not licensed the state it happened. So he let my entre case hit the floor without a referral, only stating that he had the right to quit whenever he wanted to, it was in the contract and that was it. that the lawyer he had contracted to work with out of state was no longer able to litigate for reasons unexplained. Mr. Dubin was rude and offered no apologies to me. After wasting six months of my life I have to start the case over with another lawyer. The reason for the review is this: Matthew Dubin was aware of all the circumstances six months ago, both by me and the insurance company. To say it “all of a sudden “ makes Mr. Dubin negligent or a liar. When he sent my case file the letter was in there… Mr. Dubin specifically asked me if I was willing to go to trial, so imagine my surprise when he said he couldn’t make that happen… that his other lawyer was off the case due to a sick child, even though i received no notice. How Mr. Dubin handled this is my entire reason for complaining. not only did he set me back six months, he should have had another attorney available that he contacts with or he should not have taken the case. I still have the same injuries, unresolved and Dubin law did nothing but make the entire case take six months longer. Matt Dubin is running for state assembly in Washington I have come to find out. instead of being honest that that might be a reason for his withdrawal, he simply told me to f off and he had no responsibility. Not only is this someone I would never hire again, I certainly would not vote for them for state assembly! So to close, working with matthew dubin was a nightmare. I cannot and would never recommend the experience to anyone and I would be wary before hiring him as he essentially lied about his reasons for quitting as he knew everything from the get-go, his file just proved that even more. find another law firm. I am reporting this one to the Washington state bar association.

Matt has been a great lawyer to some of my clients. So great that I recommended my partners sister to Dubin's office when she was involved in an auto accident. I went with her because she was nervous and didn't know what to expect. He was very helpful and reassuring that she would be taken care of. When you are in an auto accident unfortunately the world does not stop. You still have to work while juggling treatment for your body and not to mention the car... You can get pushed and pulled in so many directions it can be overwhelming and disturbing. It is good to have someone that can be an advocate for you. I highly recommend Matt and his associates. Honestly I have never been treated so poorly by so called professionals. They wouldn't even take the time to hear my story. After using their online chat service, during which I explained just a basic outline of my situation, I was told "I think we can help you" (i have screenshots saved) and that someone would contact me. I received a standard automated template response explaining that they could not take my case and they will not respond at all. I didn't even want money, I just wanted to force an organization to quit their illegal and harmful and injurious and unconstitutional practices. They could've kept the money. I wasnt rude in any way (I have screenshots remember), I have no idea why they have done this to me. It took weeks to build up the courage to share my story, and they shut me up before I even had a chance to tell it. What harm would there have been in saying (via email) "ok, tell me what happened"? My only guess is, they must've realized, with their legal expertise, that my case wasnt a "Big Money" case they could get rich off. It was just a good old fashioned, defend the little guy from getting stomped on by the bully kind of case. Seriously if you have anything traumatizing going on in your case, these people will just make you feel stupid and re-traumatize you all over again. It's taken over a month just to recover and have the courage to come here and post this. They should just have a sign that says "Unless you are bringing us wheelbarrows of cash, DONT BOTHER US!!"

My experience with Matthew Dubin and his law office has been nothing less then stellar. Unfortunately this has not been the norm for me when working with other lawyers. Matthew and his office were able to answer any questions I had regarding my auto accident. A typical lawyer experience usually involves a "free" consultation with your attorney at which point you sign up with them. Following this "free" appointment you are rarely granted the opportunity to talk with your lawyer again if at all. Not only was I able to remain in contact with Matthew, he also secured a greater settlement then I was anticipating. I was involved in two different car accidents 3 months apart with two different vehicles. Of course this also involved labor and industries (I was at work both times delivering sandwiches for my job) and two different insurance companies. On a recommendation from a coworker that had used this law firm before, I gave them a call and went into the office for a consultation with Becca. Even though my case took almost 2 years from the time of the first accident to settle, Becca and Matt were there for me the entire time. They worked endlessly with several different doctors, L&I, two different insurance companies, and of course answered any and all questions I had. Throughout everything they returned phone calls and emails promptly, and when L&I hassled me at the end for their share of the money, Becca and Matt aggressively fought on my behalf and sent me an extra check after my case had settled (a refund of some monies paid to L&I). I have never contacted a firm that did not speak with me directly before declining or taking on a case with explicit reasoning. I too believe these reviews are falsified, being that a marketing firm, per their website, handles all of this and creates a seemingly “great” reputation. Props to the marketing company, they did do a good job making it look legitimate! Notice, reviews aren’t stating any case was won. Hmmm.... Not sure what the the intention of this is for them, but just off of my first impression, I’d look elsewhere for representation. UPDATE: Per their response, the site does indeed include medical malpractice, and my case involves every point listed that would at the very least, receive a consult.

I was injured in a pedestrian accident. Initially I was going to deal with the insurance companies myself, however as I started getting calls and letters from them, I decided I needed help. I live in Pierce County and I researched lawyers in both King and Pierce County and called and interviewed many of the lawyers. I ended up selected Dubin Law Office and am really glad I did. I primarily dealt with Becca, but it was clear that Matt was available if I wanted to talk to him. From the beginning, Becca made it clear that my concern should be with dealing with my injuries and they would take care of dealing with the insurance companies and anything related to my case. Whenever I had questions or concerns I would call the office, if Becca was not in, I would talk to Cat, who is wonderful. Becca quickly called me back and often called just to check in. When it was time to settle my case, they got all of my records. The records from the orthopedic surgeon (I had medial and lateral tears to the meniscus in both knees but chose only to have surgery on one of the knees because the knee I had surgery on didn't feel much better) were totally inaccurate. This is one attorney who is straight with you. Lots of lawyers will take your money, even if your case isn't something they are an expert on. Matt isn't that guy.
