As soon as I was released I googled the best DUI attorney in VA Beach and Mr. Pfeiffer came up, the price was a sticker shock to be honest but after doing a bit of comparison shopping there ultimately was nothing to compare. He had a payment plan which made that easier and at the end of the day it was my future on the line. I already had plans in place to move out of the country and now I thought for sure I would have to cancel them. From the first call he was incredibly nice and not to mention knowledgeable, he understood what I was going through and never made me feel like a criminal just someone who had made a mistake. By the time my court date came we hadn’t even been sent evidence and we were facing a prosecutor that was looking to hammer me. I felt pretty hopeless. Yet somehow he managed to get me a dropped charge (down to reckless driving), waive the ASAP class, and in lieu of all the fines, having to stay for classes and probation as well as pay for the interlock we settled for 12 months without a license. That seems scary but for me aside from getting the case dismissed all together it was the best case scenario. I still get to move abroad, in less than 20 mins my case was done and I don’t have to look back. I am incredibly grateful to him and of course his amazing assistant Claire for getting me through the most stressful time in my life and allowing me the privilege to move on. I made the worst mistake of my life followed directly by one of the best. Stop looking and call him right now, if he doesn’t answer he will 100% call you right back and he will get you through this.

Miracle worker -- if you got a DUI and don't want to go to jail, Pfeiffer is your guy. Brilliant in his legal tactics, he's straightforward and makes the process as easy as possible from square one. I went into court today looking at a minimum sentence of a mandatory 5 days in jail for a DUI, but everyone was telling me to expect a longer jail sentence than that. After realizing the case was indisputable, we attempted to negotiate a deal with the prosecution, but was denied any kind of bargain due to my terrible driving record, prior convictions for reckless driving, and -14 safe driving points. Although the prosecutor was fighting me to serve the maximum penalty of 12 months, he was quick and attentive and managed to get my sentence down to a $250 fine, restricted license for a year, and ASAP classes. No jail. After the hearing, I was approached by multiple lawyers that were present during court to congratulate me on the outcome of my case and comment on how lucky I was to have such a good lawyer. Hopefully I'll never have to go back to court, but if I do, I wouldn't go to any other counselor.

My DUI was dropped! Each case is different in all of the circumstances but I feel that I got the best result I could have because of Steve Pfeiffer. My job had me go into a 30 day rehab and a 5 year alcohol monitoring program so Mr Pfeiffer had my court date continued until I could complete 9 months sober to show the Judge that I was turning my act around. Which on a side note is what my life has needed for a long time. I intend to stay clean and live a great life, pay for my action, but no lose my job. Mr Pfeiffer was able to make the Judge see what was on the line and that I had and will continue to put forth the effort needed to become a better person. The state will get me for 5 days in Jail but I can drive and by not having the second DUI on record I am able to keep my job. God has worked in a truly graceful way toward me and Mr Pfeiffer. Getting 1 DUI is as pretty scary deal in itself. Getting 2, within a year of each other, while not even facing the legal ramifications for the 1st one is down right terrifying. Welcome to my life. I got my first DUI July 4th 2017 I didn't go to court for it until April 2018. While waiting for my court date, I received another one in February 2017. God must really love the dumb because without him leading me to Mr. Pfeifer, I’m almost certain I would be in jail still right now. Not to mention he also kept me from facing the automatic jail sentence I would’ve received for being in the probation program I was on as one of the conditions for being given a bond and getting in trouble. If he hadn’t, I would’ve been jailed from the time the courts found out about my 2nd DUI until my court date in April. Throughout this whole process he held my hand in a sense. He’s straight forward, professional, and will fight til end for you if he accepts your case. Long story short, for my 1st DUI in which I plead guilty, I only received A fine, a DUI program and no jail time. When I went to court for my 2nd one, in which I also plead guilty, only 2 months later, I received just 20 days in jail where I could do it on the weekends which he got it to where it would start in June, and a couple of alcoholic anonymous programs. Not to mention that was the best outcome I could’ve received. The results he produces for you are well worth the money!!! If you have a dui case in va beach I’m telling you your best bet is to get with Mr. Pfeifer! No matter the case, wether it’s extreme or one people pull deem small, he’s your guy. I am so thankful for him. I bellive if it wasn’t for him I would’ve lost my job and I definitely would be lost right now. He is extremely straight forward and he certainly had my best interest in every facet of the case. His expertise in the courtroom was peerless. Mr. Pfeiffer has also helped me tremendously after my case and is a very solicitous person. Would recommend 10/10.
