I approached the firm with a landlord-tenant issue and my case was assigned to Michael Thornock, Esq. He took the time to review and understand my situation in detail. Several weeks passed and he still recalled my situation well. Es una larga historia que algun dia sera contada, se puede resumir en un caso que ningun abogado quiso tomar, 2 felonias de 2do grado con orden de deportacion que despues de mas de tres años que duro el proceso en la corte se transformo en 2 cargos menores “Sin intencion” y en GREEN CARD para el defendido y 2 miembros mas de la familia. Es el primer caso en la historia de este pais que se gana de esa manera y hoy se enseña en la escuela de leyes en U of U. I should have put this review 8 months ago when I received the notice about the judge's decision on our case. It is a long story that some day will be told, it can be summarized in a case that no lawyer wanted to take, 2 2nd degree felonies with a deportation order that after more than three years became only 2 minor charges "Without intention" and resulted in a GREEN CARD for the defendant and 2 other members of our family. It is the first case in the history of this country that is won in this way and today is being taught in one of the best law schools in Utah.

All contacts were hard to engage with, with delayed or no responses. I was charged a retainer by the attorney who eventually took my case. She did not deliver on the two main requests I had, and the rest of her advice was coached in very tentative, hesitant language (lots of 'maybe's and 'let's try's and such) that did not leave me feeling like I was receiving competent legal advice on the subject. When I requested a final bill, I was told it was a flat free that consumed almost all my retainer. I am waiting for a refund of the remainder a month after our business was concluded.
