***Mr. Hepworth contacted me personally and graciously acknowledged the misunderstanding. The matter was settled to my complete satisfaction.*** my fiancée had to call there office repeatedly to get the status of my case. My fiancée singlehandedly kept the case from getting dismissed because it had sat carelessly dormant for so long and it was her that had to bring it to there attention. And then, when we suggested a way for them to address the obstacles created by my ex-wife and the careless mishandling of my matter (I suggested filing a Motion to Waive the Requirement for Respondent to Take the Parenting Class), your office responded that it couldn’t be done, when in fact, I knew it could be. I paid a paralegal to draft a motion, forwarded it to you and then your office copied it in and submitted it to the court…then the magic happened. The case was resolved and the divorce was granted. I provided you with the legal fodder to complete the job. I was told my case flat-fee agreement (in flat fee cases , I understand that I will not be billed for phone calls, faxes, court appearances, attorney preparation time, paralegal time, or any other hourly fees for work done by the Firm.) than I got a bill 2 years later for 540.98 said they could not reach me... also never got any final paperwork from them... I also did upfront fee $1,300.00 and now its at collections ... I did turn them in to the Utah State Bar...

They are terrible! Promised us aggressiveness and was worst lawyer experience I ever had. We cycled through 3 different lawyers who kept mysteriously moving on. Essentially we kept starting over. We had to keep refreshing their memories. Then at mediation the lawyer basically let the other party walk all over my handicapped brother. Actually said he was tired and we were his last case at the firm also. Do not recommend. Beware

It is with zero trepidation that I recommend Hepworth, Murray and Associates. It is rare that you solicit the services of a law firm when things are good. As it was in my case. I was being sued by a large credit firm. It was messy. Promises were made verbally and they kept dropping the ball, hurting my credit and harassing me. Being a business owner I have hired a great deal of attorneys. Michael Hepworth and his staff, by far, have been the least experienced I have ever dealt with. They do not know commercial law and I was misrepresented on numerous occasions. Michael Hepworth advised me to pursue law suite based on residential law. It was a commercial building and thus falls under commercial law. In return, I was sued by the landlord because Michael Hepworth and his staff did not know commercial law and incorrectly advised me. I am in the process of reporting his team to the Utah Bar. Due to this lack of knowledge, Michael is still making payments to the commercial landlord. I would not trust him to handle your case. His lack of experience will cost you lots of money and stress. You will end up in court because of this inexperience and possibly sued. In addition he makes promises and then forgets prior agreements. I would record every single conversation you have with him. His team is also not aggressive AT ALL. The whole point of hiring an attorney is to put certain business matters in the experts hands to ensure follow through and due diligence. Do not expect this with Michael Hepworth's team. On numerous occasions they missed deadlines and it cost me thousands. I can not stress this enough...pursue other avenues. Very inexperienced and unprofessional team.
