First : I've been told that Lawyers take your money. Per my family experience this is very true therefore if you dont want to give your money away to lawyers dont get in relationships or have children with broken men that get women into legal matters with their help of course pertaining to child custody cases. Lawyers in my eyes exploit and this is how they make their money. No matter how good is your defense The Law and Court System is a joke. In my experience children are the ones that pay the punishment of a relationship that goes bad. I can actually recommend James Whorley if anyone is in need of legal representation in a Custody Case., he is the lawyer to represent you. His Staff Katherine is very knowledgeable and a great asset to Mr. Whorley per my experience with her. Mr. Whorley is a Humble Lawyer and his practice is not into exploiting his clients. We have lost and won and lost our case but it wasn't due to Mr. Whorley. It is due to the unfairness of a Judge decision of not listening to all the facts.

I would not recommend him. He was unresponsive to legal issues and concerns and failed to meet many of the timelines and paperwork requests. Had to fire him and hire a new lawyer to complete divorce due to his inadequacy. ALSO - office staff was limited so overall cost me 3x more for his services because he charged his fee where at new law office I paid for paralegals and other staffing fees, had I knew about looking for an office with more staffing it would have saved me a ton of money by the time the legal issues were handled. I do not recommend him!

I paid him for a divorce and decided not to go thru with it, all he did was draw up the papers and filed for a court date. He will not refund any of mt money which I believe I am due. Charge me for the paperwork and filing fees but refund the rest

At first I was very nervous about the custody battle I was about to face, I hired James Whorley and everything seemed to fall into place from there. He answered any questions I had, even explained them into more detail since this court stuff was new to me. Always had time to meet with me and go over every option I had, even gave me his personal cell. We received more than expected from my custody case and it was due to the hardwork that Mr. Whorley put in for me and my family.

It’s a messy situation due to people with too much time on their hands causing assumptions and allegations of something they have no facts or evidence on.
