Edit: I first gave this law firm a one-star review (see below). When I finally contacted Nicole the matter was taken care of promptly. Cristy Ryan apparently is no longer with the firm but my husband was still refunded the money. Two thumbs up for Dunham and Dunham- two thumbs down for Cristy Ryan. The most work she did was put in a motion to withdraw herself as counsel due to non communication. She is a joke. This is the worst law firm ever. I contacted Candice regarding a TEMPORARY custody order that concerned my husband and his child. Christie was to be the lawyer. I provided pdf documents of notarized letters, texts, receipts etc., to hold the other party (child mother) in contempt several times. I did the entire job for them, aside from representation in a court of law. I paid $3500 on 4/27/2016. Not one court date has been granted. Email and phone calls get no response. DO NOT USE THIS LAW FIRM. MY MONEY IS GONE AND THEY STOLE IT. THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING IN TWO-AND-A-HALF-YEARS FOR A SIMPLE TEMPORARY ORDER. Thanks, candace and crusty. You girls are awesome. Please refund the money that you stole.

I cannot recommend Dunnam & Dunnam enough, we needed closing docs reviewed at the last minute, Nicole was so warm and helpful and Jim Dunnam was quickly able to answer our questions and alleviate any fears. Dunnam & Dunnam will definitely be our choice when our next legal issue arises.

I sent a message online last month and never got a response. Then I called a week later and was told that the lawyer I needed to speak to was out of the office, and she would return my call once she returned. I've waited for almost a month and never recieved a call from the office. I didn't even recievev a courtesy call to see if I still wanted to hire the lawyer. I am very upset that I was treated this way, Especially after reading such great reviews

Inquired through their website a week ago, and still have not received a response; not even to say sorry, can't take your case. If they don't respond to an inquiry, I can't imagine them having any type of diligence when it comes to an actual case they're working on.

Went to this company because I was told to by a bail bondsman that in order to leave town, I would have to hire a referred attorney Gerald V. He was very unprofessional. He held on to my case for a year and kept postponing court dates. He also told me not to call his office and that if he had information he would call me even though months went by without him speaking with me. They will take your money and state that you signed a no refund policy agreement no matter if they work the case or not. I lost 1700.00 with them. I hired a new lawyer and 32 days later, my case has been dismissed. Horrible attorney, nasty attitudes and a bunch of greedy people. Wish I could give 0 stars but had to put one to share my story.

I have been called as expert witnesses in the past to help some people and we are always proud to help. The thing that shocked me and I have to make sure I don’t say more than I should for privacy reasons. I heard Mr Jim Dunnam talking to (who I later come to find out is a partner in the firm) Mr. Thomas West, I witnessed them do something I never thought I would hear an attorney do and that was to tell his assistant (who I found out to be Nicole) to lower the firms fees because They needed it more than him. I asked him about this later when he thanked me for helping out and he told me this “the money I gave up isn’t going to change my day to day life but it is life changing for them”. If I ever need law services they will be my go to dudes! I could tell it really bothered him and what they were going thru. It bummed him out. What’s this.....? A couple of lawyers with a heart? Imagine that. I was impressed. You don’t have to use them but you better hope you are never against them! I’ve seen it! Dude they will sneak up on ya and then you have been “GOT”. Good heart Mr. Dunnam and Mr. West!!! Good heart!!
