Kevin was very thorough in explaining the possible outcome of my DUI 2 arrest, I was scared going in to it cause, I had very bad experiences with some past attorneys, Kevin was there for any questions comments concerns at anytime, that I had, had. Kevin is a GREAT & AWESOME attorney... Yes, he is a very blunt and straight speaking guy, but his results are beyond exceptional!! As for the negative review, don't wait for the last minute for an attorney to begin with! We retained Mr. Adams ASAP and don't regret it one bit! The Federal Government wanted 10 years for my husband. But because Kevin Adams is a very respected attorney in state and federal, the time was dropped to 37 months. He explained everything to us and how the whole process works. Kevin doesn't joke around with his job! He is a very serious attorney and his work ethic shows. He also explained to use that while he had our case, he wouldn't be working on others as large as ours to give it the time and attention it needed. I wish I could give this guy a higher rating. I love shouting from the rooftops raving about others who go the extra mile to help service humanity. My google reviews have gotten managers nice 'Attaboys' in managerial meetings. Unfortunately this experience just wasn't what I would brag to friends about. Kevin answered the phone, he says paraphrasing, Yes I take some civil rights cases what do you have going on? My story is long and many aspects to it, I do not get 10 words in to telling him a brief backstory (not where my rights were violated) and he cuts me off. I won't take your case. Excuse me? I didnt tell you what happened to me, what do you know about what my experience was that tells you that you wouldnt take my case? I dont have to explain myself to you, I am not interested in hearing anything further I'm not taking your case. I mean, with all do respect I am not offended to be told a firm, No. But I was at least hoping I could tell him the law that was used against me to violate my human rights by which authorities do not have to prove (public intox). And if this isn't in his wheelhouse, he could then say look sorry this happened to you, but it's not my area. For a 5 star review he might've even said, listen I know I'm not the one to take this case, but have you tried other civil rights attorneys such as (insert attorney here). Maybe Kevin was having a bad day. I'm not sure. I hate to base an entire assessment of someone on one experience, but the way he cut me off like that did not feel like an ounce of compassion. I'm glad other people have had positive experiences, I was just so taken back by this phone call I wanted to document. Cheers!

Kevin Adams is one tough and effective lawyer. He ultimately won my case and got the charges dismissed. Crooked cops and crooked prosecutors hate Kevin so you will negative reviews about guys like Kevin but let me tell you he saved my hide last year against nearly impossible odds in a case that got massive national press. First off Google my name and the word blackmail. My case was brought about by a corrupt county prosecutor that my group had dragged before a grand jury in 2012 and they flat out told my first set of attorneys (including the ACLU) that I had gone too far and was going to be punished. . Then eight months later I find myself with two lawyers trying to stampede me into accepting a plea deal because they were not prepared for trial a few days before the start of the trial and to tell you the truth neither one turned out to be an actual trail lawyer. Most lawyers just work a plea deal meaning they throw some under the bus to protect their relationship with the prosecutors. So the day before the final meeting prior to the trial, the Thursday before the Monday when the trial was to start, I called Kevin and asked him to step in to protect me. The next day, Friday, the last business day before the start of the trial, Kevin drove down to OKC and watched a really, really, angry judge chew out the former lead attorney, a ten minute tirade in open court, because the former lead attorney had not prepared for trail. If you Googled my case you know that the case was completely political, the law was not being followed, all three judges in my case refused to follow higher court decisions on political speech/free speech/coercion/blackmail and the pressure was on that judge to get me convicted because we screw with a lot of very, very powerful politicians and we win more than we lose. BTW the judges wife WORKED for the prosecutor and she found herself fired a few months after Kevin walked me out of the courtroom at the end of the trial. So I fire the two former lawyers and Kevin takes over. He wasn't sure the night before if the judge would give him time to prepare for trial so Kevin bombards me with questions until late into the night before we go see the judge. Luckily the judge allowed Kevin four months additional time to prepare for trial. And boy did Kevin prepare. He brought in two other attorneys at various points for assistance in preparing, one wound up in ICU the week before the trail and couldn't help but the other assisted in the trial and did a great job. I turned down the misdemeanor plea deal the prosecutors offered, telling Kevin to tell the prosecutor to "jam it up their ***es" and we went to trial risking 15 years in prison. . Kevin fights the judge and the prosecutors tooth and nail. The judge doesn't allow us to introduce the fact that the prosecutor had been dragged before the grand jury or that my group was a huge thorn in the side of the State Senate and corrupt politicians. The jury was deadlocked for eight hours, the judge refused to answer simple questions they sent out, and as the judge and prosecutor had hammered home the fact that this was a tough case and they wouldn't like convicting me but the "law" had to be followed, so the jury found me guilty but gave me a small fine on the blackmail charge (a reply all response to a mass email to the good senator that threatened to investigate him if he didn't do his job) and no fine on the second charge of using a computer. And we walked out of that court room that night with me a free man. The judge was livid at the decision, white faced while reading the verdict. He had spent the better part of an hour the day before warning the jury that once they started deliberating they would NOT leave the room until they were done but five minutes before the jury returned the verdict the judge called us in and discussed sending the jury home for the night! They wanted a mistrial! Kevin won the appeal and the higher court ordered the conviction overturned and the criminal charges dismissed!. One hell of a lawyer. Hire the guy!

ADAMS AS LEGAL REPRESENTATION STONGLY RECOMEND NOT TOO, This guy had me wait until the DAY BEFORE MY COURT DATE TO ME WITH ME Then WHEN I WAS NEAR HIS OFFICE I CALLED TO ASK FOR HELP WITH DIRECTIONS and HE STARTER TO SPEAK TO ME LIKE I WAS STUPID & said to me YOU KNOW WHAT MAN ? Just forget it , & HANGS UP ON ME! HOW DISRESPECTFUL & short tempered I mean I was in disbelief & completely screwed having less than a day to find another lawyer , DO NOT HIRE KEVIN ADAMS I URGE YOU , YOU WILL REGRET IT THESE OTHER REVEIWS ARE VERY MISLEADING
