i chose brain ricci because of their good reputation. i still lost my disability case after 2 years of waiting. i feel like they didnt tried hard enough or guide me into to prove my disability. i wouldn't recommend this lawyer office to anyone. go elsewhere.

It was never a question as to who I would use for my attorney. I wanted someone I knew would care so I called the best. After I received an unfavorable decision on my case with the judge. Brian Ricci said I should appeal. He referred me to another lawyer. He personally said if that they would take the case he would personally take the case. Which He did not, even though he said the judge made some serious errors in my decisions. I felt that they did not try hard enough. It took them months to get my doctor's files. I had to go in personally to get them from the doctor. They couldn't even do that. Plus they were not readily available for my court trial.

So far, I have had a horrible experience! Everytime I have tried to get something across to my attorney's paralegal, Vanessa, for the most part in the beginning , she was understanding and contacted me. Now this, ( my case) that's been dragging on now for 3 years, was finally heard in front of the judge last year, Oct 26, 2017. My attorney, Ms Salisbury , whom I had NEVER spoken with the WHOLE 3 years I had Ricci representing me, until the couple days before of the hearing to get me ready. Really???? Even if I didn't or couldn't at this point get all my documents that I needed, I was screwed because my ATTORNEY never spoke with me , and the paralegal Vanessa, I asked her if I needed documents from my Dr or if she could fax over the sheet to my Dr for him to fill out showing how long I could sit, stand, lift, etc. Vanessa told me she didn't think Ms Salisbury would need that because she had everything she needed. Obviously she didn't. I get into my hearing, I'm sitting next to my attorney as she's going over different things with the judge and the vocational worker, and Ms Salisbury had NOTHING from my Dr!! Although the vocational worker ruled and said she had no work I could do, I still lost. I told Ms Salisbury about what my Dr and I wanted to fill out for the hearing and have for the judge, ( my restrictions) and she asked me where this document was, I told here Vanessa didn't think it was necessary . Yes my attorney was a little upset because with that document , I believe we could've possibly won. Well I told Ms Salisbury I want to appeal, she said that's fine and proceeds to tell me she will no longer be my attorney. That someone should be in contact with me thru the appeals process. And that this will probably take up to another damn year. Uggghhh. She said if I get this Drs document and fax it to Ricci they can get it to the appeals dept quickly and MAYBE it won't take so long. NOW HERE IS MY GRIPE, MY ATTORNEY HAS LEFT ME, NOBODY FROM RICCI HAS BOTHERED TO CONTACT ME. NOT EVEN SURE IF THEY EVEN KNOW WHO I AM OR SQUAT ABOUT MY CASE. AND I HAVE THIS VERY IMPORTANT DR'S DOCUMENT I NEED TO FAX TO RICCI SO THEY CAN SEND IT TO THE APPEALS DEPT. ..... SO YES MY REVIEW RIGHT NOW FOR RICCI LAW FIRM IS VERY LOW BECAUSE I'VE BEEN DONE WRONG!!!!!!!!
