On February of 2018, after doing an extensive research online and asking friends and family for a competent and trustworthy immigration attorney, I retained Feiner & Lavy as the law firm to help me bring my fiance to the US. From the moment when I walked into their office and being greeted by the helpful and friendly office staff - two of whom I know by name, Hamid & Ingrid, to my interview with Yaniv (attorney) about my case, I felt I had made the right decision. Subsequently, when it was time for me to submit the information in order to get the process started, I was offered great help and guidance by the two previously mentioned ladies in order to fill out the forms correctly. There were 3 things that stood out for us during our initial mtg: - Yaniv consistently referred to us by name. This showed us that he was personable. His attention to detail and his interest in making your case his priority in that moment was a welcome change. You are not just another immigration case. - he asked us questions none of the other law firms did. - his team was small and they seemed accessible (you could have a regular conversation w/ these folks). Once we retained Feiner & Lavy, our filing process was flawless. We filed in Feb and completed in May. Our case was prepared thoroughly and correctly. And during these 4 months we would often drop into the office (sometimes w/o appointments) and they would always make time to see us or answer questions. I've never written an online review for anything before. I always found them to be silly (b/c each persons experience will always be different) but this is important and it's important that immigrants know they can receive excellent legal service w/o breaking the bank and from people who treat them w/ dignity and courtesy. If it were possible to give a negative review, I would give the lowest negative score. An extremely unprofessional firm. Made appointment on July 12, 2017 for July 14, 2017. Got an email confirmation and also sent background information indicating what I wanted their firm to do (i.e. apply for an EB5 visa) via email. Got a phone call on morning of July 14 asking to confirm the meeting for the afternoon, to which my response was "I look forward to the meeting". Twenty minutes later, got another phone call stating "we recommend another lawyer to apply for the EB5, as that is not our speciality". My response: "So, are you going to be emailing me another lawyer's contact information". The response: "No, we recommend you approach another lawyer"! I can only assume they are looking for ignorant clients, which makes the billable hours extremely flexible. Anyone reading this review can confirm for themselves by doing thorough background research before approaching this firm. From reading some of the reviews, I also suspect they wrote those themselves to hide bad reviews and lower the statistical effect of genuine reviews (which from my experience, are all probably also all bad reviews).

Lavy is a great attorney. I read all the negative comments. Guys remember that its their policy to not to disclose their rates over the phone. They don't believe in random advertising their price Menu. And some people said that they were delayed for the appointment. Legal line of work can eat up Attorney's time. They try their best to accommodate what can be done. Patience is important in any circumstances. I will rate Lavy 5 out of 5 as atleast he opens his doors for a free consultation at the least and everyone in his office was so courteous. Each employee was humble. I came here didn't know what to do last year December. My husband just proposed and I just got out of college. I am Canadian but we wanted to stay together I was on opt. Ghadi helped us and they told me not to worry since our case was relatively easy. They showed me step by step what to expect and the time range. The firm gave me a list of all the things I needed to prepare, evidence, documents and forms. We got married in court first ( having ceremony later) and after I brought all the forms in, Ghadi called us in and doubled checked everything before submitting. Everything was done properly and our entire process only took 8 months, I knew people who took over a year in new york. They also prepared me with interview and helped to check our evidence binder. Every time we got a notice the assistant will email us and also remind us. We got approved on the spot and I got my green card less than a week and half after the interview. I got it faster than the time range they gave me. I was originally worried because nyc was backed up and it was taking forever but they were really reassuring. I would chose their service because if you don't and something is filed wrong it drags out the whole process. Our PD was 1.23.2016 and our interview was on 9.08.2016. When we entered the interview the officer basically told me everything looked good on paper and the interview will be really quick and simple.
