This was my first lawsuit and had no experience with how to proceed with such a serious matter. I opted to contact a firm within my locality and had no prior knowledge of this particular choice. I got lucky with choosing Borrelli & Associates and am eternally grateful for the experience they delivered. My personal attorney was Jeffery R. Maguire and he is extremely, knowledgeable, respectful, intuitive and professional. Aside from those critical attributes in a lawyer, he is naturally relate-able, understanding and comfortable to work with. I immediately felt confident and my situation would be handled correctly. I'm not that familiar with law practice and the ever changing exceptions, protocols, bells and whistles, etc. that can make or break a case. Mr. Maguire was always two steps ahead of the game which I found quite impressive and immediately helped me feel more relaxed. A true talent. My particular matter was riddled with difficult time delays, medical issues and other distracting dilemmas. Never once did Mr. Maguire show impatience or frustration with any of this, which I admired and appreciated. I could tell he had a vast education of law and a solid record of being involved with a multitude of cases. I applaud his ability in adapting to the unsavory specifics of my case and always felt that despite how small my claim was, my case was always valued. He is particularly skilled working in a mediation setting. The chemistry he has working alongside colleagues is distinguishable and displays a certain confidence. Watching him work, sparked a genuine interest in all things law-related in me. :) Is it okay to say the entire procedure left me learning something? Again, much more than I was expecting. Any time I was a participant in group discussion, I was never treated in any condescending or irrelevant way. (Despite much of the terminology and specifics going WAY over my head!) Eye contact was always made and I was encouraged to interrupt if I felt the need. I felt no need. My instincts knew I was under exceptional care. I wish to sincerely thank Mr. Maguire for his relentless devotion to my case. Most of all, I would like to thank him for the often overlooked humanity he brings to the field of law in general. He is an outstanding counsel and I recommend contacting him if you need representation, advice, and most of all- SUCCESS!

I have nothing but glowing things to say about the law firm of Borrelli & Associates. From the receptionists to the paralegals to the lawyers themselves, they are a class act. The lawyer who handled my case, Caitlin Duffy, was professional, affable, and very knowledgeable. Of special note is how she made me feel like she actually cared about the outcome of the case and didn’t treat me like just another litigant. She was honest with me about expectations from day one, kept in phone and email contact with me, and fought for me when it seemed like an impasse had been reached. The qualities the firm possesses cannot be purchased with money and has to come from within. They know one of the fundamental secrets to having a successful business, which is to keep the customer, in this case, client, happy. I’ve already referred one person to their firm and will continue to refer anyone I know who is in need of legal counsel.

My name is Jakwan Rivers. I was a long time NYC employee of the NYCHA and a Union official of Teamsters local 237 representing city employees. As I opposed the treatment of the members by city and union officials, I decided that in order to change the way business was done, was to run for president of the union and affect change and as a result, I became a target of both interties for retaliation. After exhausting all internal lawful interties and exorcising all internal rights to protect myself against all opposing parties and retaliation from NYC and Union officials, I was left with no other alternative but to seek out specialized attorneys who totally understood the general makeup of city and union policies. My case was extremely unique which required a law firm that also specializes in retaliation including 1st and 14th amendment rights which many law firms lack all combined specialties. After consultation, I was pleased and excited that the associates of Borrelli totally understood my situation and immediately devised a plan of action. As a union official/city employee, I've had the privilege of working with many attorneys from all walks of law and I must say, their focus, commitment and professionalism was above and beyond what was expected. Borrelli Team kept me informed, Updated and I was totally involved in the entire process as part of the team. The Borrelli Team vigorously addressed the issues at hand and represented my case superbly. AIthough we was unsuccessful in achieving our goal, there's nothing that wasn't addressed or unrepresented in my opinion. If you are looking for an employment law firm, you should make an appointment with Borelli & Associates. Everyone is extremely pleasant and competent. You will be told up front what they think they can do for you and will keep you informed of the progress along the way. I am pleased that I chose their firm to represent me in a matter.

I live just outside of Austin, TX. I searched over 30 law firms before finding Borrelli & Associates in Great Neck, New York. I liked their website and reviews, plus they came highly recommended as experts representing federal employees. I retained their services for two years. During that time, I received outstanding legal counsel, excellent customer service, and peace of mind. I was always able to reach my assigned attorney either by phone or email. She processed all of my legal documents in a timely and professional manner. She also kept me in the loop whenever she spoke with the Agency’s Attorney and EEOC Administrative Judge. Overall, I was very pleased with the positive legal outcome and their fair detailed billing process. If you are looking for a 10 out of 10 outcome with your legal case, I strongly suggest Borrelli & Associates as your one and only choice for the greater New York Area.

They clearly showed me that they were incapable of handling my case,,,,all they care about is money....don’t waste your time with these people,,,not worth the effort,,,,how could you have your secretary call a potential client telling them they have to pay a $2.500 up front fee because they have a strong case when the client was only interested in a contingency plan,,,,I don’t need to be a rocket scientist to figure this out,,,win or loose you still pocket $2.500 and the client remains the fool..,,,
