I found the Williams Law Group online and after reading the immense amount of valuable information Allison has posted, I knew I wanted to meet with them. The NJ system is beyond confusing and complex, and attorneys I had spoken with previously were extremely unhelpful, offering zero substantial advice. I easily scheduled an intake and met with Deborah, the Client Intake Director. Hi I have been waiting for my case/situation / Court matter to take play people say they're doing stuff apparently it's been a year-and-a-half almost close to two years since I first contacted them and stuff has not been completed yet ,they keep billing me and billing me for different lawyers and such so I had to call Better Business Bureau after a year then they started to do there job I was highly recommended to this Law Firm buy a highly recommended lawyer I highly recommend don't use his Law Firm at all they bill you every time they switch a lawyer and charge you for a review of your case and try to get away with it.that when I called BBB, Williams group they say their paperwork they work as a group I took trust in the lawyer who represented me and said go with this Law Firm I don't want to put her on blast but make sure you read the paper work on like me I just took trust in the different lawyer but they will bill you every time they switch a lawyer watch your back nice to help you out ,PS still waiting for my case/ stuff to be taken care of be prepared if you use them a don't say I didn't warn you, so far it's the worsted I have ever been to ,good wishes all don't use this place ,plus if you do have to call the Better Business Bureau they will try and force you by fear of losing your case and dropping you from here legal standard , and you have no more legal representation by them.

DO NOT HIRE. THEY ARE VERY DECEITFUL and will mislead you. Once they retain your services, they will double their retention quote, and then raise their hourly rate about $100 or more. They will agree to seek counsel fees from the other party. But at the time of the case, will 'mysteriously' not have gotten around to it, and will continue to write up for the next case, and the next case, and the next case. Six plus cases later, they 'mysteriously' forgot about it and won't take up another case until paid for the work they supposedly did.

I would recommend this Law firm to anyone. I had a stressful case, once I left that office and knew that the people would be handling my case and treated my case as a priority, I knew I was in good hands. I've had the same case for about 4 years with DCP&P they would bullying me beyond belief, I was scared stressed and knew I had to look for a good law firm to handle this case. Expensive but they worked with us on the payments and with out their counsel our court hearing would have been disastrous with their help our matter will be solved much quicker. It's up to the judge in these situations and had our attorney not been present to plead our case it would have been so much worse then the disappointing decision we did receive. However we are confident the attorney will be able to reunite our family much quicker then dyfs would have allowed had we not hired the law group so it's a lot of money well spent.

Horrible service. There own web sits says one of the Division's tactics is to delay to give them more time to build their case. So that is exactly what they do and my case gets move from Sept 27 to Oct 25. So I hire A Williams Law Group and get assigned Melissa Barrella as my attorney. Five days before my new court date she asks for an adjournment with not even a heads up for me and the case gets moved to Nov 27. So what does the Division do, they open a new case and want psychiatric evaluations for both parents and both children and the court date is Nov 16 for that part of the case. That is why you should move these cases as fast as possible and that is why I fired you Melissa! I was told that the attorney I was assigned did not have any other engagements on the Oct 25 court date.

With thousands of Lawyers & Firms in the North Jersey area, all claiming to specialize in matters involving DCPP when in reality, know less than I already do, the Williams Law Group stood out as seemingly the only one savvy to all of DCPP’s sneaky agenda & the dishonest premeditated tactics industry trained to use as standard procedure in order to fulfill their own ulterior motives! Furthermore, the Williams Law Group is definitely the first I’ve encountered throughout the 5 years at odds with DCPP, to not only know the truth about how the division operates, but explain their intelligent strategies to use knowledge & logic to properly avoid, disprove or combat each one of the division’s tricks! Even before speaking to anyone from the firm, the information offered on their site & available to the public, especially the free ebook, all for free, with the intent to simply educate parents themselves or even their existing legal council on how to fight DCPP in court more effectively!It’s very impressive to me that a law firm would offer so much information in their own area of expertise to the public for free instead of reserving it solely for those who’ve retained one of the firm’s own lawyers! I’ve only gone for an initial consultation, the office was designed very well to reflect the contemporary professional image of the firm and the staff was very professional yet warm and the consultation with Paul left me feeling hopeful in their lawyers’ aggressive & intelligent method of calling DCPP out on their bullsh*t & misconduct while simultaneously proving their allegations against me completely false! Bad service!!!! The attorney that was listed on my contract wasn't the attorney that was assigned to work with me. Had difficulties with getting the attorney on phone (all communication was done via email) I didn't like that. There was an error with my first invoice and when I inquired about it Judy was very rude and obnoxious. The attorney was over 30 minutes late for the first mediation. I wasn't keep abreast as the case was going on. I received a email two days before the court date that my attorney wasn't available only to have the covering attorney call me the day before the court date for an update. Nonetheless, upon arriving to court my attorney showed up and was in a rush to leave for another case. Appearing before the judge she was very unprofessional, unorganized, unprepared, and was buffled. Didn't present my case well at all. I provided her with bank statements and letters. When the judge asked for these documentations her respond was she left it in the car. If your coming to court for an case why would you leave documentations in your car. When the case appeared before mediation again she did not argue on my behalf or advise me of other alternatives. Was not please at all!!!!!

Beware! This Law firm will join with DCP&P to extend and draw out litigation for the purpose of making money!! They never produced requested critical legal evidence, i.e., medical records, that not only proved our innocence of abuse allegations but illegally allowed DCP&P to drug our a minor child with prozac when we still had legal custody of our children. After going pro se were we able to stop the insanity. Don't trust, don't hire. They will make the situation worse as long as they can make money!

DO NOT use this law firm. They completely messed up our case and made a bad situation worse. We were originally told the case would be easily resolved and our retainer of $3500 would cover the cost. Then they assigned a lawyer, re-assigned a lawyer, then re-assigned a new lawyer only days before we were due in court because the second lawyer quit! They billed us for all these hours and then WERE NOT PREPARED IN COURT. It has cost us over 20K and the fees keep piling up. We feel horribly taken advantage of and now have to deal with issuing a complaint against their firm. NOT WHAT SOMEONE NEEDS WHEN THEY SEEK HELP FROM "EXPERTS!!!!"
