Af few years ago, I required a lawyer with an expertise in Elder Law to take care of my senescent mother's needs. My daughter, who is a lawyer, suggested that I reach out to Peggy Knee from the Knee Law firm after attending a CLE (Continuing Legal Education) seminar where Peggy was featured as a Guest Speaker. My experience was outstanding from the minute I walked through the door and met Fonda Barr, the Knee Law firm's office administrator and estate legal assistant, until the time of my mother's passing. The Knee Law firm is a smaller trust, estate/elder law and real estate law firm that is exactly what I was looking for. I was unhappy with the larger firm I had previously worked with due to the lack of sensitivity and personal attention. Whenever I called or visited the office of the Knee firm, I always had access to either Peggy or her husband, Robert. In addition to navigating my mother's Medicaid needs, Peggy cross-checked my estate planning and offered valuable and personalized suggestions.
