I am a resident of New York who found myself in immediate need of an attorney licensed to practice in Monmouth County. I needed to file a Motion to Dismiss an action filed by my husband, on grounds of unlawful jurisdiction. Rather than rely on my New York counsel to arrange this, I took it upon myself to locate a qualified attorney in New Jersey. I am pleased to report that a targeted Google search identified and prompted me to call The Law Offices of Edward R. Weinstein. I took advantage of their offer for a free phone consultation. I was connected to an attorney who articulated expertise in the area of Jurisdiction Disputes, as well as an approach that was in sync with my expectations. I retained her to handle my case that very day. I am more than pleased with results; the motion was retracted by the opposing counsel before the first scheduled Court Date! In a nutshell: Unprofessional, lost materials, misleading, and very rude staff. Also unless you're bringing in a ton of cash for them, don't bother. They did not update me about anything and I changed lawyers three times without anyone letting me know every time. They charged me for time spent talking to them on the phone about mistakes they'd caused, and I ended up paying far more than they'd led me to believe I'd be paying. Worst of all they were just really rude, especially the secretary. Really awful experience.

It took Leslie over a week to draft a single letter to the adversary about daily issues that were affecting our family. Furthermore, when asking for her advice on issues relating to the divorce, Leslie’s default answer was to handle it ourselves. After contacting a new attorney to see if this was the normal course of action, the attorney couldn’t believe the status of our case. Since switching attorneys, the case has progressed more in 2 weeks than it did in 3 months with Leslie. This firm was a complete waste of money, time, effort and emotion.

The owner of the firm is extremely rude to the clients, at least to me when I raised genuine concerns regarding my billing. My assigned attorney in the firm was at least professional to me while talking but the owner is just inhuman while talking to clients. I understand he has to be tough but he seriously needs to learn some manners. Even after getting rude attitude from him, I never raised my voice like he did thinking I ain't dealing with him forever. He forgot to understand that he's dealing with clients who are shelling out thousands to dollars and already dealing with emotional trauma not requiring further devastation from their own attorney. I work in a respectable field in medical research and hope and pray that he doesn't have to face what I faced when he goes to a medical professional like me. A simple case that should have been 2000$ costed me $4000. Not a happy customer at all.

She creates unrealistic expectations, only to tell you on the day she represents you that what she told you would never stand in court. It was hard to tell who she was even representing. I made a few trips to their office for meetings and it was such a pleasure to walk in and to be received like a family member. Everyone was extra courteous!
