I was charged with driving with a suspended license and for unlicensed driver while I was not even driving. I went to court three times and finally I hired mr. Artusa and he went to court with me and i am totally happy with the result. I won't be parking or driving in jersey city after this, i can't believe they can give tickets when you don't even drive!

DO NOT USE THIS ATTORNEY!!! My son had a heart attack in January 2016, he did not get enough oxygen and suffered from an anoxic brain injury. In February 2018 his mother and I realized we needed to legally be appointed guardians over my son. I contacted Mr. Artusa who assured me he has handled guardianship issues before and charged me a flat fee of $1500. He did not submit anything to the surrogate court until July of 2018 which was immediately sent back to him due to numerous errors. All the while he was assuring me that he was doing all he could do for my family. I believed him and begged him to give my case more attention and he continued to lead me to believe he was handling my case. In December I had had enough and contacted the Surrogate’s office and they stated they have not heard from him since July! I confronted him and he apologized and blamed his assistant Leah and the surrogates court for being too “picky” about their paperwork. He stated he would refund my money. He never sent me the refund and literally sent me and email saying “the check is in the mail”. I sued Mr. Artusa in small claims court, he couldn’t be bothered to attend and sent another Attorney, Christopher Fritz, we reached a settlement which he also breached. I now have to pursue a judgment against him I am also filing an official ethics complaint. I have also contacted the Hudson County Prosecutor’s office to see if he can be charged with fraud. He is a CROOK!! Do not use him. I know we are not the only family he has done this to and we will not be the last. I completed the paperwork myself in 2 months and now have guardianship so it apparently wasn’t that difficult.
