They are compassionate, smart, and experienced in all personal injury matters (from car accidents to medical malpractice to product liability and beyond), and they fight hard to get the best results possible for their clients. I was recently in an auto accident when a tractor trailer truck ran a stop sign and broadsided my vehicle. This left me hospitalized for about a month with many broken bones. When I met Marianne LeBlanc at Sugarman for the first time I was drawn to her because of her compassion for my situation. Sugarman & Sugarman treat non whites as criminals. From onslaught, they engaged me as one who files false motor vehicle claims. They never informed me as to the status and progress of my case; even, when I inquired. Even though they verified who I was in our initial meeting, they wanted me to provide an ID to prove I wasn't my mother citing there was a lien against my mother which there wasn't. They would not provide me proof of a lien nor the party asking. They averred Safety insurance was my carrier and they wanted it. When I informed them Safety isn't my insurance carrier, they averred it was my mothers. When I informed them it wasn't my mother's they hug up the phone. When I reconnected with them and asked for an official request in writing as to why they needed an ID from me when they verified who I was prior to taking on my case they refused. NOTE: They made copies of both my drivers license and social security card at the intake interview. The police made an accident report and verified my drivers license and the rental car's insurance.

I could not give a more rave review of Sugarman and Sugarman, specifically Benjamin Zimmerman. Prior to meeting the with the firm I was already familiar with their superior reputation but was nonetheless further impressed after our initial consult. As an attorney who practices in a completely different field of law it was very difficult for me to understand the personal injury process. During the pendency of my case Benjamin was amazingly responsive to my phone calls as well as any questions that I raised. I do not remember a single instance in which my phone call or email was not returned almost instantaneously. Beyond the attorney/client Relationship Benjamin was able to obtain a successful outcome in a very difficult and challenging case. Ben Zimmermann and Stacey Pietrowicz at Sugarman tried my case in front of a jury in Middlesex County for a week. One of the largest insurers in the world had offered me a settlement, but I didn't think the offer was fair or right. I am in the construction industry, and I am not the type who ever thought I would sue anyone, but I got badly hurt because someone didn't do their job and then they lied about it. After a week of trial, Ben and Stacey got a verdict that was well over seven figures and more than 50 times what the insurance company was offering. They tried to appeal, but they basically gave up and paid the verdict. It's not just about the money. I came to Sugarman on advice of another lawyer. They believed in me and my case. They did the work, they made the investment that was needed, and they were not afraid to try the case. They returned my calls and kept me posted on everything important that was going on. The amount of work that Ben and Stacey and the rest of the firm put into the trial was impressive. At the end of the case, the truth came out and we won. I can't recommend Sugarman enough to anyone who wants to be represented by real trial lawyers and good people.
