I began working with Attorney Moriarty in December of 2012. She came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Atty. Moriarty is knowledgeable and aggressive, a staunch advocate for spousal and children's rights. She warned me at the start of our odyssey that the road would be long and that I should be patient with the process. Atty. Moriarty will not sugar-coat a situation, nor offer placating words, but she WILL relentlessly work for her clients and their loved ones. Over five years later, I still rely on Atty. Moriarty and her assistant Erica. Dedicated, professional, experienced !! I also had reason to use Attorney Sclafani recently. Working with this well-versed, skillful bankruptcy expert and his highly proficient assistant Sharon, I was able to remove a huge stressor in my life relatively quickly. I simply can not recommend this entire firm more highly!

Attorney Moriarty is very nice, easy to talk to & down to earth. Her assistant Erica is amazing. Always a pleasant experience even though dealing with an unpleasant subject. Recently hired attorney Sclafani, very short notice, for a matter our court appointed attorney has allowed to drag on since Nov of 2018. The issue should've been dismissed & for some reason the courts seemed out to make an example out of my fiance. Attorney Sclafani was awesome!!! Just like attorney Moriarty, very easy to talk to. Had court this am, court appointed attorney didn't even realize we were to be seen today, attorney Sclafani was able to get everything dismissed!!!! Very, very pleased. Can not thank him enough!!!

Attorney Moriarty ultimately lost my custody battle, as I have spoken with other lawyers since the end of our trial I have come to understand that there was a serious miscarriage of justice and it was done in large part to having an attorney who did not properly prepare. My family is being torn apart because of a lack of preparation and best interest. I was so fooled into thinking she had my son’s and my best interest at heart I even let go of a restraining order against our abuser on her recommendation. To be fair she may be great in other aspects of being a lawyer but not with regard to custody. I do have to mention her paralegal, she was wonderful. Very helpful and talked me through so many very hard spots of this case. I wonder though if she is so great at her job because Attorney Moriarty is lacking in proper guidance. All I can say is please do your homework before getting a lawyer, I was desperate and saw mine as a life raft and that isn’t what they are. I want to be clear that there is no ill will on my end only a hope that she do better with her next client. She devistated my family but my best defense to that is continued fighting for what is right and just for my son.

I wish I could give this place (or at least my lawyer) no stars. She doesn’t deserve even one. So, I met with her initially before putting any money down and she was super nice, friendly- yet the type of woman you want in court fighting for you-the total package. So I signed the paperwork and came in for my follow-up meeting to a rude, mean woman. Not the friendly “total package” lady I’d met initially. She was a bully and even had me in tears at points. She made me feel so beneath her. She later (at our last appointment)even SMILED the entire time while telling me these horrible things that were going to happen to me (over a simple misunderstanding between her and I). I’ll never forget her huge grin, as if she were somehow finding immense joy in my pain. So after putting my hefty retainer down on her, a month or 2 later, she wanted MORE, or said she would have to resign from my case. I couldn’t afford anymore. And we hadn’t even gone to court yet or even set a court date. So she resigned from my case and took the rest of my retainer ($400+) to legally do so. If she had simply waited 2 weeks instead of jumping ship, I would’ve had a lawyer by my side at our hearing. Instead I stood alone and terrified. Thankfully my now ex husbands lawyer was GREAT. And, I might add, had a much lower retainer, to which he never had to add more to. If I could’ve gone back in time, I would’ve NEVER even agreed to see her. She showed me her true colors that last meeting: someone who was smart enough to become a lawyer but had no sympathy or heart for those she would be defending. Only wanted the money. If anyone asks me for a recommendation for a good lawyer-I will start by telling them NEVER to call/write/email/visit, etc this place (or at least Diana). Even my worst enemy I wouldn’t refer here,..... well, ok maybe I would.
